  1. I'll throw my endorsement in as well. Been a member of the VE for about ten months now, and it's great. If you want to practice your writing skills and do so in a fun, friendly environment, look no further then the VE. Yeah, I'm a member of GR...been there since forever and will be there until forever. But I've got no problem resigning & dropping nukes on anyone who takes it into their head to raid VEA. -Drac
  2. TGR, you're not the only alliance to lose people to this. It's just how things go. Everyone's better off if you choose to be friendly toward your former members, rather than resent them. *waves at Chimaera, Mathias, and other former Greenlanders* -Drac
  3. Most NAACers are happy to let the AA rest in peace, legend intact. However, the spirit and heart of NAAC never died. If you seek it, come visit Greenland sometime. -Drac
  4. I see a lot of familiar names there. GR's loss was IAA's gain, but we're happy to donate. o/ IAA Also, hai Schecterville -Drac
  5. Well fought battle, NEW. You did much better than any of the larger alliances I've fought in my time. -Drac
  6. Had DOOM not chosen to attack NSO/STA, you mean? Let's not forget that NpO told everyone what would happen if someone did that. DOOM brought NpO down on themselves knowing full well what it meant...if they did their homework anyway. Anyway, good show of support for your protectorate. BMTH: Due to treaties, NSO=STA, STA=NpO. Therefore, in an odd way NSO=NpO. So far as I've seen, when alliances sign a super MDP (meaning any MDP in which an attack on one is literally an attack on the other, not just a treaty activation) it supersedes anti-cascading since the alliances involved basically consider themselves a single entity through the treaty. Works on both sides, but I don't think the situation's come up on the Hegemony side of the war yet. -Drac
  7. OBR: You are true friends and allies and one of the most epic alliances in the history of this game. It is an honor to fight beside you. May those who lift their hand against this rose find its thorns much sharper than they ever conceived possible. -Drac
  8. Good show, DE! I'm glad to stand beside you guys. NEW, we hardly kNEW ye. Good luck post-war though. (Please forgive me if I don't wish you luck for the war itself.) -Drac
  9. I have nothing but good thoughts for Invicta. Good show, guys. Bravo! You'll come out of this war well, I think. See you on the other side. -Drac
  10. Nuclear anarchy? By all means. Utter destruction? Nah. Also, you guys are already halfway out of your nuke supply? I'd be getting worried were I you. As I recall we've still got more than enough. -Drac
  11. 1. You're correct in saying you guys never posted a DoN. You did, however, cancel a high level treaty with NPO during a crucial time for them, which is a clear indicator of FA stance (unless it was just a tactic, but see #2 for my thoughts on that). Try to spin it however you want, but I'm just going to keep laughing at you. 2. Valid enough, not even sure why it's being debated apart from its connection to #1. Even so I don't really understand...I never thought an attempt to gain as much bad PR as possible was a goal. At least, it's not one I'd aim for. 3. Ummm...they never hinted at anything. And they didn't want to defend Echelon's allies either. They looked at what those erstwhile allies did and decided to do as their consciences suggested and oppose them for it. Thus they left and attacked those (now former, for them) allies. As for the last bit...dude, read the thread next time. They had legitimate permission from one of your leaders to leave, and had decided to do so before Echelon ever got into the war. And as has been pointed out, your leaders don't seem to feel the need to confer with others before making decisions (see the very good point about no 1V discussion prior to signing). Why should this be different? If you think it should be... Hegemony hypocrisy ftw! -Drac
  12. It's a few days old now, but this could seriously be the most awesome thread I've ever had the pleasure to read. Those announcements by Archon are all that compare. -Drac
  13. Yeah, that is what Bob does best. Welcome to the party, Nemesis. -Drac
  14. Leetopia: I'd sig some of your comments, but I don't think it's necessary. Why show my fellow members of GR something they've laughed at already? The same old joke's never as good the second time, and you keep coming back with the same old act. Read up on the real history of GR rather than propaganda; you won't get any new material for your comedy, but it'd still do you some good. -Drac
  15. Well, no hell so far. Maybe NEW can give it a shot though...kudos to NEW for actually countering my declarations. Though I hope you won't feel to badly towards me after all four of your guys go down with me...if I go down. o/ GR -Drac
