I hope it is locked because any sense of logic has long-gone left it when certain people begin repeating arguments that were raised very early in the thread. I also love how the argument has turned from "bandwagoners! you AA dog-pile onto NEW!" into "haha NEW is hurting you guys good. you underestimated their military skill!" You do realize this only confirms what we've been saying the whole time? That they have a strong military ability so we were entering to assist our friends? The disrespect in this thread is beyond belief; I really must agree with Daikos that NATO were superior opponents not for their military ability, but because they were respectful the entire time.

You seem to support breaking the status quo but yet you do not support the precedent. Though as Mack Truck just pointed out; this is not even the precedent. You seem to fail to understand that we are here to help protect our friends. As stated several times in this thread we have nothing personal against you, so I see no reason why we would fight after our friends have left the war. Yes; we declared on an alliance that (at the time) had over 500 nuclear weapons - just so we could claim victory over you. We are here for friends and nothing more; You first claimed this was just an opportunistic attack to gain spoils of war, and when you realized we had no intention of seeking reps you then claim we did it just so we could claim to be victorious in another war. No one would risk so much just for a name on a surrender; we risk so much for friends only. We choose to look like "cheap bandwagoners" to those who do not pay full attention to the situation. We care not for gaining the favor of the ignorant. It was a bold move. Also I'm glad you don't mind playing without treaties but then continue to complain anyway. I'm sure it will - as most alliance actions will change how they are perceived by many. In this case it'll be easy for us to determine who is willing to take bold moves for their friends and who aren't. I see this as an advantage.

Well that is unfortunate. But please take note that we do in fact have legal ways of entering this war - we just decided not to use them; therefore I don't see how our entrance was much different from anyone elses Defending and helping friends as already stated; we do not seek for spoils of war. If the wider public reads this thread and determines we were in the wrong then that is unfortunate; however we are doing what we feel is right for our friends - and in the end friends is what counts the most. Many of the negative posts in this thread have been putting words into people's mouths or other illogical arguments - for these people I care little of what they think. We do not wish to destroy you; we are merely assisting friends. You are not evil; you are not dishonorable. It is just an unfortunate chain of events that will conclude in peace for all Who did you approach about the matter? I do not think this is a fair representation of our government and I would invite you to stop by again. We hope for good relations with most alliances on Planet Bob; I see no reason why NEW would not be one of those.

As did we; we would have loved to go for the fairer war - which is why we planned to re-enter the conflict as soon as NATO surrendered. To the Elephant Troll in the room - this thread will serve for historical purposes, where everybody will be able to see how you put words into people's mouths and spin things faster then a cyclone; efforts to pervert the truth have been futile. The points raised by legitimate players have been answered (and repeated as all great threads need to be cyclic in nature) NEW has had their smack talk. I believe everything is now out of the way for war for friends. Good luck to all alliances involved.
