I think the prizes shouldn't be too high, otherwise everyone will go for growth and the wars will disappear = defeats purpose of TE I think just a simple $20 donation for 1st place, $10 donation for 2nd and $5 for 3rd, or similar would do just fine.

The calculator you are using is broken I believe, and far from correct. Just use that mrfixit calculator.... Oh and since when is swapping improvements so much worth it at 1999? Making the swap for factories instead of banks might be worth it (since factories wtfpwn everything else), but any other swapping at that level seems a waste to me.

Well being a tech seller I went for 3 schools and then 2 universities (-20% tech costs). But in retrospect I would prob go for the factories - infrastructure just costs too much Edit: If your aid slots are already full with tech trades/aids then you might consider getting a Foreign Ministry
