And I'll also reiterate, that sometimes the personalities of people flow into their characters.. and if the two are related, than they can be a cause of dislike both on and off the fields of Bob. All that matters is that the motives are from the game, not from outside of it. It is irrelevant as to whether or not a discussion outside the game is contested as it does not/should not flow into the rp itself. However, there are very good reasons why any nation could be at war with Greater Nordland right now and to suggest that there is an in game war over a disagreement merely because of an ooc difference is trite and demeaning towards those you accuse of such. I know my motives. My motives relate nothing to my concerns out of character.. and I am not even at war with the Kaiser.. yet. My motives in character, await the flame to light the fuse.

I've actually suggested that the Mods review my fact book information to see if they can find any useful standards they may be able to apply towards merged nations, even some possible modifications of the very same standards I used. I am not sure if community input would be constructive or obstructive in generating these standards.

Actually, I've been protesting the Kaiser's actions in ic for some time now and for many various reasons on different threads, threads apparently you had a responsibility to read and know about according to some on here. Fortunately, I'm one of the sane souls who does not blame you on here for not knowing everything that I do or say in game.

You did apologize and say you didn't want to kick or ban me, and I accepted that.. but now this is just an outright distortion of events and I must protest it. You didn't have to kick or ban me, but you did.. and yes.. some of the folks who found what I had to say of some importance did take offense. I agree continuing to speak of it probably wouldn't have made much of a point, but you fail to recognize there were those who wanted to talk about it and you basically stepped on their freedoms. Your choice s the channel founder, but they don't have to accept it.

I do one better. I maintain my own database about everything about my empire.. as any responsible CNRPer should consider doing at one point. Check it in my signature. That's also where Marten needs to put all his tech.. in a link in his sig... Then we can all find it and complain about it to our hearts content. Mind you, we'll likely be ignored, but at least then we would have been said to have tried.

The burden of proof of claims.. should be upon the claimant! Not upon the ones who counter the claim. If you wish to claim a technology, have it document and have it in an easily accessible place that others do not have to dig through. It is YOUR own responsibility to maintain YOUR technology database.

If you cannot find the system to place into understanding the very merger you created.. perhaps it should not be allowed to exist to begin with? Shows poor integration planning.

My complaint is that we can't read everything and that people should have the common decency and sense to rp sanely without us having to hold their hands each time they develop something.

We did not all see the threads. I do not make it my "JOB" to read every single thread post it and let them know if I think it's wrong. That is not my "DUTY". This is a game.. it is not an "OCCUPATION" and I do not expect it to be.

I tend to RP real time also. It took my ships 3 days to make it to Vanuatuu when I staged my invasion. Most I'm willing to accelerate role play is by 2 or 3 days per day at the most.

That's funny Kaiser. Thing is you're really good at nesting things where they won't see daylight until people will care and need to have to see them. We can't read every RP.. though many of us would like to. We can only hope people observe some rational limitations on what can and cannot be done on Bob, and you have a horrible track record of.. not doing that.

And I'm sure you read every single RP thread created.. and I'm sure that those nations had sufficient output to completely rebuild Germany from the wreck he made it... *shakes his head*. Right. That's why this argument doesn't work. No one reads every thread.. and the expense and duration of recovery would have been much longer than the time and sums allowed.

Unfortunately Martens, during your building I wasn't around for you to match wits with.. so that I could point out to you the error of your ways. In fact, many of us were not. Sorry I wasn't around to instill some common sense in you about the concepts of realistic limitations and quality roleplay. Not that it seems that it would have helped.

Martens.. I began that trend of mergers in another game in 2003 and didn't need your inspiration so you can drop that hedonistic self-praise now. Group states have been around since the U.S. formed and since well prior to then. There is nothing new under the sun. The only reason you tried it probably was because you were the first power-hungry enough to try it. I don't think most of the community has wanted mergers. The bottom line is you can't account for it all. There's no possible way to justify it in relation to the measures established within the rp. i mean to rebuild Germany from utter devastation would have taken many nations many years of gdp worth of direct investment to accomodate.. and that's if they spent all their GDP rebuilding what you had done. Poland alone couldn't have done it. You have absolutely no sense of realism or responsibility pegged to realism when it comes to geo-strategic rp or you would realize this. You seem to have no concept of the value of money and resources and the difficulty it is to get them around the globe. There are so many angles by which your recovery argument fails that to list them all would be a multi-page research paper that I don't want to waste my time on. There's no way you should have the magnitude of influence and power you achieved by now.

ooc: Martens, that's a lousy response simply because.. in roleplay.. your nation was utterly destroyed. In game your nation was utterly destroyed. Either way.. by stats or not. Germany was rubble and it was all your doing. You just make one lousy excuse after another then whine to the mods that are when someone asks for accountability.. and whine, "Why can't we accept the rp over the IG?" yet you forget WHAT YOU DID TO YOURSELF. One final note. We did not white wash you.. effectively, you had whitewashed yourself.

ooc: I have utterly objected to the Kaiser's position in terms of statistics in the rp for a very long time because of the fact I know the fact he has taken such a global beating and there really should be little left on the very land he governs. That and he also has some pretty outrageous technology for someone who flushed his research centers and all the sources of his technology with the north sea. I've always thought his current status could have only been achieved in one way.. godmoding on the level of research, infrastructure, and demography in his locations. I am very sick and tired of nations that do not role play to the consequences of their actions and I wish someone would intervene. Kaiser, you're an exploiter who hides behind a lot of pretty excuses that are actually loopholes in our system of governance of the RP here. There's no way you could have gotten sufficient financial aid in the term you have been back to rebuild at the rate you claim.

I have a lot of treaties that are changing and evolving constantly, including individual treaties. I request you erase all lists of treaties related to the Cholan Empire and Dragon empire and instead replace it with a link to: The Dragon Empire Treaty Library To save this thread the headache of having to be constantly maintained for my ever-changing diplomatic landscape.

I just wish our physics and trade systems were a little more based in the real world..
