Amen. When Valhalla offered incredibly crappy terms to STA, we said no. They threatened to make us the next FAN, saying that no new terms would be offered. We still declined their terms. After applying the right amount of pressure, we stand stronger than ever today, and on our terms.

Agreed. What does it matter if they have ulterior motives? They just gave everyone exactly what they've wanted for ages... a free GATO and a policy that's against running rulers out of the Cyberverse. There's nothing to complain about here. It makes no one look foolish but themselves. The only foolish thing folks have done here was forget who we were dealing with and dared to believe a word that came out of the mouths of TPF. Those who were already hesitant to trust them have only been proven right. Those of us who went ahead and took them at their word can only shake our heads sadly. Due to the ambiguous nature of the first part of the announcement, it's doubtful even that will prove to be what we all hoped it was. Pathetic.

I'm still here because when you guys wanted me at the end of the NoCB war, STA said no, posted your threats publicly, and humiliated Valhalla. It says that STA has guts. It says that Valhalla only holds to their ideals when it's the popular thing to do. Man, I hope this treaty cancellation is real. There is no such thing as an alliance that is better off for having you as a friend.

If the ideals of TPF are that of an alliance that does not wish to condemn leaders to the point of forcing them out of the Cyberverse, and your ideals are that of an alliance that does wish to do so, perhaps you are not in the right alliance anymore. Valhalla may be a better fit for you.

Under mhawk's context of them still being friends and still bound by the Continuum, it seems it's being canceled. Mhawk tends to be a bit ambiguous unless he's threatening you, but I think it's safe to say that the treaty has been canceled. As far as the guy asking why he had to pay 1,000 tech to get off a ZI list, mhawk also stated in his post that he recognizes that their past is going to be difficult to get past, but they are turning over a new leaf. Good on them.

Well that was a morning surprise. Best of luck to you, TPF. I appreciate your policy on peace terms. All punishments should fit the crime. I hope that eventually, TPF's past can be the past, and and you can build yourselves a new reputation. I can assure you that, in the eyes of the STA, both of these announcements have moved you miles forward.

You repeatedly keep saying things like "I'm leaving this conversation", "That's all I'm going to comment" and "back to doing far more important things" as though you don't want to be here, commenting in this thread. Yet here you are, commenting away. Please, if you don't feel as though this thread is worth your time, stop reading and commenting on it.

I think that the best way to respond to you is with a quote. While it's true that the alliance in the quote is not the same as the one you're in, I feel it still applies.

Nor am I. TOOL has seen the evidence, and it was good enough for them. Are you also saying that TOOL are willing to look past weak CBs? I, as an ally of NSO, have also seen the evidence. It's as clear cut as it gets. It clearly shows a member of CDC posting private NSO information on a foreign forum. While you certainly don't have to trust anyone, had you read the thread before calling NSO liars, you'd realize that in doing so, you were also calling everyone who saw the evidence and agreed with it a liar, including TOOL, STA, and various other members of the Cyberverse who saw it before it was deleted.

Perhaps, before you make a comment that more or less calls the leader of an alliance a warmonger and a liar, it would be prudent to actually read the thread in which those very statements you've made are not only refuted, but proven wrong. That way, in the future, you won't make a fool of yourself in front of the entire Cyberverse.
