  1. I was wondering if I needed to post I instead of we
  2. So survivalist means cancelling treaties and actually fight? Instead when you name Athens a non-survivalist alliance it just means: "declare and let your allies do the fighting". That's clear to me then.
  3. You started alright, using proper spelling. but you're right, alliances is what make this game a lot of fun. If you look for an alliance, look trough the messages you recieved and check the forums of the ones out you liked best. Choose one to sign up for and become a part of the community, if you decide you don't like it there leave, because you aren't married to that alliance. As long as you haven't received a lot of aid no alliance will hate you for leaving. If you want some tips of which alliance to join, post what you look for here and we'll see if we can give an honest answer.
  4. If we are talking about the same thing I think Slayer went over the line big time. There is no way you can exonerate him from publishing the RL public profile of a player. I try to keep my true identity as much out of the game as possible, I even try to keep a low profile on the web in general. But if you start looking you can also find things about my personal life on the internet, like where I study and !@#$. I find it completely unacceptable if you use that to get an advantage in CN. All is fair in love and war, is a saying with a truth in it. However this topic wants you to realize this is not a war but a GAME
  5. This topic is fail. If you don't care about nation building don't buy wonders, put the money in your warchest/ hand it out. If you care about nation building listen to the advice people are giving. Closing remarks, if you only want to be useful to fight shot down nations buy a MHP (3000 infra) and WRC (8500 infra) as those are truly useful military wonders, even at your size.
  6. Could someone explain me who Battallion was/is? I don't know why he would be a bad MoD.
  7. I don't particularly care about the senate seats, as long as they are not used as a tool in warfare the seats are quite irrelevant.
  8. I find that also difficult with the other two neutrals and I couldn't show you a FARKer posting since their last election thread.
  9. I was talking about the fact that you logged on and decided to immediately declare war without any preparations would make you a terrible MoD, at least that's my opinion on the matter.
  10. President: RyanGDI, speaks for itself. MoFA: Shovel, probably a good MoFA if your FA strategy is swearing at allies and enemies alike. MoEA: Nitenderek, Seriously the guy has been playing CN for 3 years and has never even came above the infra threshold were it would payoff to do a labourcamp swap. MoD: Most of the failures in alliance military performance I have seen are not to blame on 1 person, but on the entire culture grown in that alliance. If I however need to choose a person for nightmare MoD it would be Ivan Moldavi, in the NSO war on RAD he declared war without warning his alliance or making any preparations, such a person would IMO be completely unsuitable as a MoD. MoIA: ? after a long thought of looking for the most polarizing person I know in CN, I came to the conclusion that all those that really are polarizing (Bilrow, Sponge) also led their respective alliances to great heights. So making enemies on the wider CN world made sure their alliance had a good run, IMO a job well done as a MoIA. If you already have a reasonably good president and MoEA, MoIA isn't really necessary. So it would probably be someone who would screw up your forums a lot (You know a good candidate Uncle Harry?) Propaganda person: Dephire, the GGA guy who made that Shaneprice thread go from good to epic.
  11. never say never, who's going to stop an alliance from attacking the neutrals?
  12. I would throw away your crystal ball, probably stuff would keep going like it always did for the past year or so. If there aren't any senate wars it doesn't really matter who is in the senate.
  13. o/ Orange Simple, Orange is no longer the sole domain of these 3 alliances. The treaty doesn't reflect the true nature of the team any more. De facto the treaty was already of low value as senate rotation was already a very common thing on orange. I believe there have been times all three senate seats went to another alliance then the three above this announcement.
  14. Gentle person, We need to keep the Moderation staff busy, else they are going to warn innocent bystanders.
  15. WOW, this is one of the first topics in which all the rules apply to CN. Great job Hal.
  16. Gentle persons, I can understand why people don't trust arexes. -XXX- Tha_one
  17. Rerolling under the same name isn't really rerolling you know. If you don't want contact with them just don't snoop around at their boards and don't contact them.
  18. Gentle Persons, Both are Triumvirs of iFOK and as a member of FOK I can tell you I don't see Ikmark as a FOK-member but as an iFOK trium. The situation with Mike is somewhat more complicated, but double membership isn't unprecedented. Depends, IRON has a similar policy for their protectorates and I know for a fact we paid that.
  19. Gentle person, Another route doesn't mean keep your mouth shut, it just means other route.
  20. For a nation at your infra level your warchest is quite good, I think normally it is advised for nations around 8500 to have around 500M. I'm planning to get the high infra wonders and then stay at 14K infra to work at my warchest till I get about the same amount as you have now. The highest warchest I heard of was Matt Miller who had at the onset of the Karma war a warchest of over 5 Billion
  21. Gentle person, This is just their way of having fun. B)
  22. Gentle persons, I would like to know what is it that FOK doesn't realize?
