1. I'm very saddened that this day has come. My time in FOK has been the best playing CN. Thank you for all the guys who made the alliance great.
  2.
Does the answer of this question help to elucidate whether the allegations made are true or false?
No, My concerns are with the civilians of Nausea. The direction the current leadership of the nation has seems to be a one way trip towards it's end. I hoped to find out if there was still some degree of sanity left in the leadership of that nation.
  3. Roq, is there still someone left in MK you do like?
  4.
As I said in a PM to someone mere moments ago: We fell for it, but quickly learned that it was all a lie. None of this surprises me, I'm afraid.
I don't really understand what you're complaining about here? Didn't Nordreich reform? Are there still NoR members on a ZI list? Don't you consider this a change?
  5.
Well with this war... we gained like 200 members if im not mistaken
In a month we'll have lost 2000 .

    Sup CN

Lennox I now understand you see us all being careful as cowardice. I'm only pretty sure you will post this action in a "I regret" topic. That's why all alliance leaders are holding back, they don't want to hurt friends in their own alliance or outside of them.
  7.
(I hate this fact, too. WoTC was the last fun war to plan, after that it was all-nuclear all the time)
This is something I'm disagreeing with. Bipolar and Karma were also fun you should only make certain you got enough nations to target. So you have to prioritize who to hit first, or compromise on something else.
  8.
there are formulas for how skynet assigns targets based on a number of factors. This ranges from number of wars the enemy is in, staggering, tech, infra, and other variables.
Personally I don't really like this. IMO it is a good system for assigning targets for the NPO of 2007, however we now live in 2010 and target assignments should be based on availability of the attacker the number of attackers available and other factors that would be difficult to model in an algorithm. An alliance should use Skynet as a decision support tool instead of an operational tool it is presented here. I'm not saying this is awful, but in the WotC MK proved the side with the best assignments could do some serious damage instead of the side with just the most nations.
  9. I don't exactly know how skynet works, but I'm assuming it works in the following way: Milcom inputs targets in the system after which members request targets and attack those. Is this on a basic level correct? It does look fancy btw.
  10.
Woah, my colony expires in 4 days. after that i might have to wait until my next war to rebuild it.
Just make sure you have a massive chest before the war. I bought my mars !@#$ after a war with a normal warchest (500M), while I now know I should have put the money in infra so I would have been able to buy the high infra wonders.
  11.
Cough: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=94868&view=findpost&p=2521538

Discrimination towards new players
Thanks Bansky, I did click that link
  12.
I'd forgotten about IvanElTerrible singlehandedly defeating GATO. Hell, I was on GATO's side of it and even I thought it was hilarious/pathetic.
Is there a link to that?
  13. Well done, if you respond as quickly when our Lord High Vanguard decrees something it would be even better.
  14.
Really? You'd get that action figure? I'd go with gedt. His action figure would be more hardcore than [ooc]G.I.Joe or any of the power rangers[/ooc] combined.
tbh I don't really know which MK action figure I would take. So many good choices.
  15. Oh great Schattenman, please tell me what you would do if you were king of MK?
  16.
If you could buy MK action figures, I'd get Epiphanus.
I would take Bros. Things were better when he was king.
  17. Congratulations you have written a VOX article Vladimir. Just change the words Mushroom Kingdom for New Pacific Order, "MK's side" for "Global Despots" and it could be written in October 2008. It was a crappy defense back then and it still is now. If you don't believe me, I dare you to write an article about what YOU would do differently if you were king of the Mushroom Kingdom. Else this is just crappy propaganda and I could make an amendment on an old CN proverb. "Do something about it yourself."
  18. I can't really tell the exact situation around Tyga's breaks, but Archon also stepped down in all but name during a few periods in the last year.
  19.
If the small alliances didn't matter, NPO would have won Karma. NPO had more of the big alliances that supposedly "matter", and had more top 20 alliances in their coalition. Look at every winning coalition in every major war. Add up the alliances with less than 2 million NS and those with more than 2 million, who makes up more of the coalition?
The smaller, insignificant alliances are in many cases brought in because the larger players decide to get it going.
  20.
This is always the big mistake, people focus on the big names and the big alliances. There are over a hundred alliances in CN that are *significant* alliances in that they have at least a million NS. It is those alliances, in aggregate, that hold the balance of power in CN. If all the alliances you have barely heard of formed a bloc, it would dwarf every other bloc in the game. Think about this: We're one of the larger alliances, but it only takes 6 of those alliances you've never heard of to cobble together more NS than we have, and like I said, there are over a hundred of those.
It would be a !@#$%* running a coalition consisting of multiple alliances. If they were able to set aside their own goals and ambitions, they would merge and become a relevant alliance.
  21. Even wars in CN don't happen, when one side gets the upper hand a lot of alliances will either side with them, decide not to side with the other side or pull out of the losing fight rather quickly. Both Bi-polar and Karma proved that to me.
  22.
You can join my extensive spy ring if you want.
I hope he doesn't take my position !!!!!!!!
  23.
or AFC to make it sound non-league
The best club in the world is an AFC.
  24.
Definitely don't sacrifice your warchest for an early journey to the moon, that's not a good plan.
I would like to echo this advice, after a war I decided to go for the space wonders while being low in NS instead of rebuying as much infra as possible. This was a mistake, you can better have a lot of infra and wait a while before buying the space wonders. as buying them quickly while staying low on infra.
