1.
True, but only if the CB is what you care about. In a situation like that with clear rivalries and great political tension, the CB for a war is no more than a pretext, a tactical matter. And picking an alliance with so many important connections was a poor tactical move.
The CB was absolutely important in this case. Some needed alliances involved would not go to bat unless there was a clear CB. There was no "picking" in this case. It was their first opportunity of someone else messing up.

3. Personally, I'd have to go with noWedge and Bilrow.
4. He was commenting on Branimir's post, HA. Epik, come back . Thanks Essenia.
5. People have such short memories. GW 2/3 were not clear outcomes at their start (well, maybe 3 was). UjW was the only major conflict we stayed neutral in and for good reason. Since GW3, there has not been a single war in which the outcome has not been obvious beforehand. Albeit, at least with the Polar shake-up when tensions were high, it was unclear as to how the sides would fall pre-Q. Learn your history!
6. Cool, where do I sign? Congratulations gentlemen.
7. Halloween is over. Change your damned avatar. Also, voted Citadel because it obviously bothers people and I want to have a crappy PR image. That and Buller sucks.
8. Desperately? Nope. We currently do give peace a chance to ensure that it is a justified war. If you misinterpret that as a weakness or even a lack of desire to kick someone's face in that deserves in, well, now you know better. Another thing that grates is how they've tried to reclaim the 'TOP loves it's pixels, we are nerds, etc' type arguments by using them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again in any thread that even mentions our alliance, as if that a) is funny, even after the 3784393th time and B) somehow magically diminishes the truth behind the original mockery of the insult. Not only is it insanely repetitive and boring when used, but it's OUR mockery that we use to annoy YOU. I will not abandon it simply because you are trying to whine it out of use, you know-it-all nerds. Edit: Obligatory "TOP sure loves its stats. I can't wait for you to find out how true that is."
9. I hardly think this thread was distastefully done. He just asked your opinion and even complimented both your alliance and Kronos. I don't really see how this can be conceived as a fault. To each his own.
10. No one did anything merciful in this conflict, heh, as much as I love seeing my name.
11. Not quite. The initial tech sent was in error of our policy.
12. Nah, I would say that the second paragraph was meant to keep the door open for a view into some more excitement. I just merely represented their intent.
