Yeah man, I've been re-elected for 6 months straight. Now here's my question to you: If you ever made a mistake in your life ever, would you eternally condemn yourself and live in depression? Or would you shrug your shoulders and learn from it? I ask this, because it appears that you seem to lack any sort of awareness on how people actually function. That is, making mistakes and then learning from them.

We are not doing this for an excuse to put them intoo eternal war, we do not wish to ZI the lot of them. (Well, some of us do... Revanche:P) This is being done for 1 reason and 1 reason only: To end this war faster. We have terms, I've seen them. And I can honestly say they are very lenient, whether you choose to believe me or not is your own prerogative, obviously, but all I can say is the truth.

Of course it's subjective. But judging us as hypocrits because we don't agree with your subjective point of view is asinine.

The difference is in the reasoning for war, Bama. Let me put this in perspective. Say there's two alliances, A and B. Alliance A spies on you, recruits from you, tries to convince your allies to attack you, and has been spying away your nukes for a month now. Alliance B has done nothing at all. Now, you go to war with both alliances, and both alliances hit peace mode en masse. At this point, what do you do? Alliance A has wronged you, do you just pack up and go home without hurting them whatsoever simply because the opportunity is not there? How does that make any sense whatsoever? You're there to teach them a lesson, rightfully so. You shouldn't simply give up because the popular opinion says it's a "bad" thing to do. Now with alliance B. The reason you want to hurt them is because you *want* to hurt them. And at this point, forcing them out of peace mode IS unjust. The fact is, Bama. They deserve punishment, GATO did not.

No. But if our opponent tortures somebody for 3 weeks for doing nothing at all. And then we bloody somebody's nose for a very justified reason, then it DOES make us merciful.

No, I don't speak for Karma. But I do know the intent behind the aforementioned terms, and it is NOT to ZI the lot of you. And if that is your opinion, than it is definitely in your best interest to surrender as early as possible. Something that will only happen if you get your big guys to leave peace mode. The resulting reparations will NOT be high, unlike your allies, we are merciful.

I'm curious, Vladimir. Where was the righteous indignation when you sentenced all peace-moded nations in GATO to PZI? Halflinger? MCRabt? Instead of sentencing you guys to permanent destruction, we're simply asking you to pay what amounts to a day's collection for any large nation - Oh the horror.

This is a matter of opinion, though, Srqt. You feel that this will not accomplish anything. - This is fine, as your opinion is your own. However, we feel that it will accomplish something - the war ending faster. I understand that you may disagree with us, but I do not understand why you would automatically assume we are incorrect and therefore flawed, simply because of your own opinion. You may have your chance to say "HAHA, I WAS RIGHT!!!!!one." But not yet.

I'm curious at the outrage expressed in this thread. The arrangement is quite simple: We want to hurt them, but we can't when they hide in peace mode. Whether you feel our desire to punish them is justified or not will dictate whether or not you agree with our means of getting it done. Would you rather we just give up because it gets a little difficult? "Oh gosh, some NPO members are in peace mode, might as well surrender."

Honestly man, I think I speak for all of us when I say that what matters most is you simply accepting your mistakes and apologizing for them. We've all done stupid things. It would be beyond hypocritical of me to hold it against you.
