Cataduanes

In a tense match Cataduanes did enough to overcome Southwest America but it was not without drama, with America taking the lead early on in the first half which stunned the normally boisterous Cataduanes fans into silence. However the home team did regroup at half time and came out to give a commanding performance in the second half with midfield dynamo Unax Sena hitting a long range screamer into the back of the net in the 55th minute. This was followed in the 62nd minute with a second goal from a set piece, with the unmarked center back Alonso Liao converting Basilio Tito's corner kick to make it 2-1, Southwest America did well however to hang on and rarely strayed out of their own half of the pitch, thereby frustrating any attempts by Cataduanes to increase the scoreline. The win secured Cataduanes's second place finish in Group 15 with the dakotans securing the first place position, both sides therefore advance to the next round. However the press back home have been critical of the national team claiming that second place was simply not good enough, a fact that the captain, Hector Chema, took time to comment on; ''i cannot blame the journalists really, we are not to happy having dropped points to the dakotans and in the next round there will be no room for mistakes. My nation got past the 1000 day mark a few days ago, it was an event i shared with my fellow ODNistas but not with CN at large, but i feel almost embarrassed for some reason to post this in the OWF so i thought i would post it here in my blog... So there you have it, this is my nations story so far, so thank you Admin for providing some of the best of times and some of the worst; its been awesome , I look forward to another 1000 days and can only wonder what I shall see in the months ahead.

...and now i need to join an alliance, who would you guys recommend?

Great result for the Bok's

Cataduanes opened their tournament with a confident display beating Lan Castor 2-1 with goals from Rafael Nagore and Hector Chema in the first half, however a lapse in concentration in the 63rd minute allowed Lan Castor to get a goal of their own. However with the conceded goal proving to be a wake up call the 'isleños' held their ground and held on for the three points. With the current crisis in Transvaal escalating the Philippines has experienced an upsurge in numbers of Transvaal citizens booking holidays in the archipelago, much to the delight of the Tourism minister.

The Philippines will not recognize the Azarian state, however the Freestate urges the Transvaal government to begin talks with the resistance to avoid further armed conflict and we further urge Transvaal to contemplate gradual reforms of its policy regarding minority rule. We do however consider this an internal Transvaal matter and will stand by Pretoria whatever decision it makes, and we humbly request our fellow Asian nations from interfering on any level in Transvaal's affairs. Agreed, for me the aim is to achieve the level of consistency that the Volunteers possess...they are (No offence to ALDM and Arcadia) the benchmark so to speak. THe Roja's are a long way from that standard Done

World Cup fever has gripped the nation as Cataduanes find themselves drawn alongside Lan Castor (Valhalla), Southwest America (Legion) and The dakotans (TOOL ). No doubt the expectations of the fans will be high and the whole nation will demanding nothing less than qualification to the next round.

Man i wish you started this in the last fixture when Estrella Roja beat Gumbo Gods 5-1 not when i lost to the Volunteers 4-0
