American Sovereignty Pact

A Mutual Defense and Anti-Colonialism pact between the Tahoe Republic and Imperial Union

Preamble:

Due to the unstable word a force has to act to protect one of the last places of stability. The signatories agree to cooperate on Military, Economic and all other possible levels to ensure this power stays effective.

Article I:

The signatories agree to recognize the borders of all other signatories and not violate it. This includes but is not limited to offensive actions or supporting a third party conducting these. Citizens will respect the laws of the other when in their lands.

Article II:

The signatories agree to promote trade between each other and share Intelligence vital to the operations of the other.

Article III:

Tahoe and the Imperial Union agree that an offensive attack against one equals an offensive attack against both parties. This clause does not count if aggression against one comes because of an offensive action by the other. This clause is not stacking.

Article IV:

Should a non-American(defined as a nation with a majority of its land not in either North or South America) establish a base or colony on American(defined as both the North as South American continents) soil this treaty will become a MDAP activated against the trespasser for the duration of the conflict.

Article V:

This pact can be cancelled by giving 72 hours notice to the other party.

Signed for the Imperial Union,

Empress Nadine Audrey Peacecraft,

The First Advisory Council

Signed for the Tahoe Republic,

President Sean O'Deaghaidh

Prime Minister Kieran Kelly

As defined by the signatories of this treaty, how far north does the North American continent extend? In latitude please.

The definition by the Imperial Union is to the North Pole, however suspecting the real nature behind your question. Non-American aggressors are decided on a case-to-case basis. The nations not American who currently own parts of the Americas are not considered foreign imperialists.

"While I applaud cooperation between nations, I can not applaud what is obviously a pact against the CFNA and her allies. This treaty only contributes to the ongoing INSTABILITY of the North American continent."

"Both Tahoe and the Imperial Union are stable nations on a stable continent. This pact does not serve to oppose anyone, it only serves to show a friendship on paper and protect our homes against modern imperialism."
