Il Terra Di Agea
Norway and Austria Move Into Britain to Investigate Possible Government Collapse Today, citing the recent beleived Scottish descent into anarchy, Norwegian and Austria soldiers have moved into the land to judge if the reports are factual in order to guage the necessity to create a joint protectorate over the nation, as well as all of its oversees territories and protectorates. It is hoped that movements will go well through the land. Scotland, if rumors are correct, in anarchy for over a year, will likely be in a state of disarray, creating fear that most cities and infrastructure will be found out of fair working order. Most of the military presence from the initial entrance into the country will be removed after the first several weeks to give way to smaller, more spread out military run police forces that will stay until the lands vote on their new government. The whole of the lands will be part of the Joint protectorate save for the Faroe, Orkney, Shetland, and Rockall islands, which will remain as a Norwegian protectorate due to their historic ties with the nation, should Scotland truly be in anarchy. The military is hopeful that efforts to find members of the fallen Scottish government will be fruitful. In any case, all records found from the likely defunct government will be moved to a secure area to be searched for a reason for the possible anarchic streak. Government talks have discussed how the land should be treated on ballots, and general consensus has been that the land will not return to become a single nation, but rather become three nations for the separate groups present in the region, the Welsh, Scottish and English. A message has been sent out to anyone that wishes to form a government to contact the Austrian and Norwegian governments about the prospect of their rule. Californian
OOC: King Penchuk has not been inactive for over 25 days. As a result, this thread is invalid due to godmodding of a current player's nation, economy, and people. Currently all you can do is invade his nation, with your troops. If you are going to invade him please post troop movements and numbers and he must be given time to respond.
Sargun II
OOC: I don't mind if Penchuk does or does not come back. Have fun with it. This post will only count if he does not come back and a new thread needs to be made. If it needs to be made, simply assume that I am making the request as soon as a new thread starts. IC: Carthage requests to take authority of the old Scottish protectorate in Spain. We are the regional authority in the area and already control the other half of the old protectorate. If a similar cultural link is found between a people that are separated by a political line, it would be easier if the political red tape was cut down even further. Carthage would even pledge, though unnecessary, to not annex the lands if that it what you fear. Edited November 7, 2009 by Sargun

Anyone can declare a protectorate over any nation, it's whether or not they contest it, is how it is valid. The protectorate has been declared, if KP pops in, in about 21 hours and says, 'Hey, no, that's my nation' then everything would go back to the way it was. As it is, the protectorate has been established already.

Norway has been a great ally in the region and Austria is just as honorable. This is a step forward for Spain."

Hence, it is invalid. Essentially I echo everything Ty said.
DeSchaine
Taeunas is disapointed that the continentals think they have any right to administer anything on the Isles, when they have had such trouble in the past keeping things calm in their own neck of the woods. Taeunas and Scotland have always been the most peaceful and stable rock in the rough waters of the Euro region. Toward that end, we would strongly request that Norway (with their dubious ties to the peoples here) and Austria (who has no ties at all) allow us to take a good portion of the responsibility for our fellow Gaelic Celts in the Isle. Californian
We support Taeunas's rights to administer former Scottish territory and protectorates. Not only have they been constant friends with Scotland and their people share similar cultures, but Taeunas has indeed been an island of stability in the chaotic continent of Europe.
