That's nice, but it's less that I only connect good music with artist names after I hear multiple good songs, nothing to do with not exploring. So I don't do a lot of searching for artists.

Same here, there are a few dumbed-down songs I enjoy but not too many. I prefer quality production over basslines as a general rule.
