I figured giving the day, I would follow the spirit to make small thank you in this blog.

A few days ago to MCXA had an extra head ache that was more than your typical rogue. Tuesday I checked my e-mail to find that I had been declared war on. When I got on IRC and our forums to figure everything out I started getting reports of the following beings sent to almost the entire alliance by this rogue who was also ghosting our AA.

-We are under trying times. As of last night, our political position has worsened tenfold. The powers that be have decided to frame us for an action that we did not commit. Of course, in return for our alleged "crime" against this particular group, they have seen fit to extort us beyond the boundaries any alliance can deal with.

-To all members who want to join us in the fight, heed the following: assume wartime preparations, and wait until 11:45pm server time to attack the alliance , Sparta. Do not fret, we are not alone.

-There are spies in our alliance so DO NOT reference this message on our forums or IRC, to do so would guarantee the disbandment of the MCXA.

-To those uninterested/unprepared for war: you are more good to us to scatter among CN, spread the word. As of now all MCXA members are free of all obligation to contracts, tech deals and resigning before leaving.

We quickly sent PMs to all the alliance, and did all the other stuff an alliance would do in said situation. One thing I did was get int touch with Sparta, specifically Tulak_Hord. What I found was that Tulak was very understanding and professional about the situation. He took steps to let Sparta members know what was going on and that if any MCXA members took the bait that no one would retaliate. One overly enthusiastic noob did take the bait, but in a few minutes we managed to get peace declared.

On top of this Sparta got in contact with Viridian Entente and had this rogue sanctiond, all without myself even asking. Which is making our job at MCXA much much easier.

In other words, THX Sparta, and VE. Kudos for you

Whoever this person was, reminds me of when someone did that to TOOL and a couple legit members ended up hitting FARK. Also, that was during the Karma War.

If that one guy's plans actually worked, we could of been going to war with one another. :( At least that would of provided some entertainment. :P

I really don't see how his plan would of worked in the first place seeing as all the involved parties would of discussed this situation in great detail in private before anything could happen and would of came to the same conclusion.

So wait, you knew there was a spy in your alliance, and you warn your members not to talk about it, yet you send out the message to everyone?

I'm so confused. :v:

I don't think you have a good grasp of what was going on. The nation who PMed everyone was a ghost, not a spie.

That message was sent by the ghost, not the alliance. As was alluded to above, similar to the TFD member who tried to get people to attack MK.
