To defend oneself

Lynneth

Recommended Posts

A message was sent to most nations of the world, those that had been determined to be willing in regards to selling or licensing weapons and equipment.

"Ladies and Gentlemen,

The USCA desires to create a military with the capabilities of defending its soil. For this, we require a multitude of equipment, from combat knives and pistols over AT weaponry and mobile fighting vehicles to combat vessels and airplanes.

Currently, we are planning for:
750,000 soldiers,

1,200 tanks,

3,000+ other combat vehicles,

360 airplanes,

60 corvettes,

40 frigates,

40 destroyers,

30 cruisers,

6 battleships,

4 carriers

Please submit your offers and reasons why we should buy from you and not someone else.

With regards,"

Eduardo Montealegre,

People's Secretary of the state of Nicaragua

Private to the USCA

Greetings,

As the leading arms manufacturer of the Faraway Realm, I, Charlotte de Dunois, would like to present you the inventory of our arms sales branch. Our arms are renowned for their comparatively low cost, easy handling and sturdy designs, though we take pride in producing fine quality. It is our policy to provide cost-efficient solutions for countries that do not have dozens of trillions to spend on defense, but still need a military capable enough to guard their own borders. Toronto Heavy Ordnance can produce for you weapon systems both for land, as well as sea, which are our main areas of business, though we do have a branch for the procurement of aircraft as well.

Let me present to you, the arms we produce:

Windsor Arsenal Tigre Carbine
Long Branch Arsenal Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk.I*

The basic price for these rifles is rather cheap, at mere 50 Faraway Pound per Lee-Enfield and 80 Faraway Pound per Tigre Carbine. Whether you arm front-line or second line units with these arms, they will, while partly old, not be to be underestimated. Highly accurate, they can be issued with optical sights to be used as sniper rifles and are definetely suited for marksmen roles. Their ammunition features a stopping power unfound in most modern assault rifles and at far more conservative ammunition consumption. Of course, both rifles can fit a bayonet, sword or pike type, for melee fights. This bayonet, while designed to be used attached to the rifle, can however be also used seperately as short sword, or, befitting tropical rainforest, as improved bush knive.

Faraway soldiers use the Windsor Arsenal Tigre Carbine as standard issue and it is quite well received by troops, especially in the outer areas of the realm, where soldiers use it for hunting purposes.

TOHOI MUV-LUV vehicle series

Toronto Heavy Ordnance Industries prides itself in the development of the Medium Universal Vehicle-Light Universal Vehicle series, providing a light assault vehicle offering light artillery and anti-air support to the troops. These vehicles are rather inexpensive and need little sophisticated maintainance, with spare parts being cheap and readily available. They will not take on the role of a tank, but they also are not tanks. These vehicles are infantry support vehicles and their easy transportation, as well as their light weight allowing tactical and strategic airlifting, make them good vehicles for terrain that cannot be easily used by armored units.

It also is available as gun tractor for light artillery. Base prise of the MUV chassis is 1 million Faraway Pound.

TOH QF 76 mm field gun

The Quick-Firing 76 mm field gun is a light artillery piece, especially useful where other artillery is too heavy. While it may look like lacking in caliber, this artillery can reach great muzzle velocities, due to its 70 caliber lengths long barrel and advanced ammunition that can be supplied by Faraway. It has capacities against infantry, as well as light tanks, usage against actual main battle tanks is not recommended without support, though a mobility kill could always be achieved.

Mystletainn Assault Artillery

The Mystletainn is the newest of our self-propelled artillery pieces and provides a reliable self-propelled howitzer on par with most other howitzers on the market. The Mystletainn has a standard range for unmodified 155 mm grenades of 32 km, which can be increased by using base-bleed or ballistically enhanced ammunition. Faraway would be willing to talk about providing improved ammunition types, ranging from slightly enhanced range to proximity fuse AA grenades.

The Mystletainn has improved direct firing capabilities and frontal armor, to possibly defeat enemy armor or slow-flying aircraft.

The basic prices for artillery would be 500,000 Faraway Pounds for the towed howitzer and 3 million Faraway Pounds for the Mystletainn system.

On ships design, we can offer existing designs, but we actually offer you to send us a list of design criteria and we build it. Our drydocks can build everything up to a battlecruiser or a pocket battleship, above that, it would no longer fit the Saint Lawrence Seaway.

On aircraft, De Havilland Canada offers its sturdy models of bush planes like the DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter and DHC-6 Twin Otter, while these are not useful in combat itself, we do believe a nation like yours, could still find them useful for search and rescue missions, for patrols over the rainforest or basic delivery or messaging. They can all be converted into floatplanes, allowing them to not only be useful on dirt runways, but also if the sole open area is a quiet coastal lagoon, river or lake.

Fighter aircraft development we can also try to fit in, but it would be delegated to Juutilainen Aviatik, who would be able to provide 4.5th generation fighter aircraft for land or carrier duty.

Overall, while our business is maybe not the most renowned, we do offer our expertise in development and production of weapon systems over countless years and we think apart maybe from a few second-hand AK-47's or AKMs, it would be hard to acquire arms much cheaper. We do offer a certain decrease in the base price if greater quantities are ordered, but we can also provide only smaller amounts, here it is mostly a thing of economics of scale. One of the greatest advantages we can offer though, is Faraway being virtually unafiliated with any major power blocs in the world and having a rather stable policy with no greater antagonisms, allowing a certain security in being able to deliver spare parts, ammunition or new vehicles when needed, without greater problems. Policy-wise, one can also point out that it is highly unlikely to see large Faraway advances in the region, making us a stable business partner in arms procurement.

Overall, it would be an honour should you accept our offer,

With regards,

Charlotte de Dunois

Without ammunition, we would expect this to cost 636,000,000 Faraway Pounds, which translates into $992.160,000.

Per Tigre carbine we would supply 100 cartridges of the caliber 7x64mm, all MUVs come with one full magazine of either 2000 40 mm rounds or 80 76 mm shells. The overall ammunition cost would amount to 12,000,000 Faraway Pounds, which translates into $18,720,000.

Thus, the total price for a package outlined as above would be 648,000,000 Faraway Pounds, or $1,010,880,000.

We would hope this pricing is acceptable.

Private Dispatch - South African Foreign Service to the Office of People's Secretary Montealegre

It is our pleasure to provide an overview of current weapon systems that are in service with the South African Armed Services, most of these weapons have seen combat in low-intensity warfare that has occurred within our protectorate zone. South Africa has a proud tradition of being a producer of fine armaments for both domestic and foreign sales, and we hope that our selection interests you. Please feel free to dispatch questions to South Africa's Foreign Service (SAFS) Home Office in Cape Town, or the South African Ministry of Defense (SAMoD).

Denel-logo_zpse6ec3589.jpg

At the forefront of the South African Military-Industrial Complex, Denel Integrated Systems Solutions, or simply known as "Denel" is South Africa's premier weapons production specialists. With years of supplying effective small arms, ammunition, support weaponry, missile technology, and artillery, Denel sets the bar high for the rest of the South African defense industry.

M122 "Six-Eight" Assault Rifle - Utilizing the 6.8mm Intermediate Rifle Cartridge made by Denel, the "Six-Eight", as it is affectionately known by South African infantry, is a sturdy, adaptable, and bar-setting assault rifle. Offering comparable accuracy to the 5.56mmx45mm NATO Standard, while packing a punch comparable to the famous 7.62mmx39mm used by the AK-47 and its derivatives, the M122 utilizes a high-impact composite materials in its design, to ensure lighter weight. With a selective fire (semi, three-round burst, full auto) gas-operated, rotating bolt system that is similar to that of the AK-47, it is well-suited for harsh environments, and has proven it during low-intensity conflict in Central Africa. Options include a mounting rail for various optical systems, as well under-slung grenade launchers.

G18 Automatic Service Pistol - Utilizing the classic design from the Austrian firm, Denel has produced a select fire version with the ability to seat extended magazines to this personal defense weapon. A favorite of the South African Airborne troopers for its select-fire close combat utility, the G18 provides a compact, but prodigious amount of firepower in the standard 9x19mm cartridge.

M457 Section Light Machinegun - Utilizing the same 6.8mm Intermediate Rifle Cartridge as the "Six-Eight", the M457 "SLM" provides South Africa's sections and squads with a reliable and light machinegun capable of handling harsh environments. With a quick-change barrel that can be changed without specialized equipment or even gloves, simply by twisting the carrying mechanism, the M457 is able to provide near-continuous suppressive fire, even if a barrel change is required during combat.

M552 60mm "Commando" Mortar - Utilizing the classic Soltam Design, this mortar can be carried and crewed by one individual, making it ideal for platoon, or even a squad support weapon. Paired with Denel's 60-ER (Extended Range) "Charger" Ammunition, which extends useful range out to 4.5 kilometers if properly mounted, the "Commando" Mortar is easy to move, carry, and ideal for light infantry units.

G7 105mm Howitzer - The classic lightweight design by Denel itself, the G7 105mm Howitzer has a weight of almost 2,500 kilograms, and can hurl a shell (with AV-LAP Ammunition) close to 40 kilometers away with pinpoint accuracy. Standard base-bleed projectiles can easily be thrown out to around 34 kilometers, the G7 has been adapted into a mobile platform in the G433 105mm Self-Propelled Howitzer, which is the regimental support for all non-light infantry and mechanized forces.

G6 155mm SP Howitzer - The classic wheeled artillery piece of the South African Armed Services, the G6 offers comparable artillery performance to that of other 155mm Howitzers. Built with low-intensity conflicts in mind, it works well in networked warfare, offering superlative counter battery performance, as well as having the mobility of a wheeled chassis. It forms the backbone of ground support for South Africa's mechanized forces. The G6 is built in a partnership with SAMIL.

samil-logo1_zps04bedcad.png

Although not the largest of producers for the South African Armed Services, SAMIL builds motorized and mechanized vehicles for the military, as well as vehicles for domestic civilian use as well. Used to the rugged terrain of South Africa's variety of environments, SAMIL has years of experience providing South Africa with some of the toughest workhorses in the business.

Olifant X Main Battle Tank - Building on the classic British Challenger II design, the Olifant X is built with a gas turbine engine that can propel the armored hulk to close to seventy kilometers an hour on-road speed. The Olifant X has levels of protection comparable to main battle tanks throughout the world, and utilizes standard add-on armor kits that are both non and reactive. One of these being the Denel "Paladin" Kits, which provides a kit of armor that decompresses and compresses shots as they strike the armor, and can essentially stop sabot rounds except at closer engagement ranges.

Additionally the Olifant utilizes a sophisticated situational awareness package, with crew being able to access several cameras with various detection modes built onto the exterior of the tank. The Olifant utilizes a 120mm L/44 ETC main gun, along with a coaxial machinegun, and remote or crew-served weapon stations on the top of the vehicle. The Olifant also has the ability to mount NLOS missile packages on its turret exterior in light-armored box launchers, which can be used to engage enemy targets at up to forty kilometers away with a variety of missile warheads. Highly network-centric, the Olifant is a tough main battle tank and fire support vehicle, designed to work in mechanized air/land combined arms environments. The Olifant is rated to work in NRBC environments.

SAV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle - To complement the Olifant X into battle, the SAV90, South Africa's take on Sweden's CV90 design, was built by SAMIL to provide tracked infantry carriers to the South African Armed Services. With the ability to mount various add-on armor kits to defeat all but the most potent of enemy weaponry, the SAV90 is also rated to work in NRBC environments. It is also able to mount various turrets in a modular fashion, as well as act in various roles for the SAAS.

Popular modular kits include the standard forty-millimeter automatic cannon turret (with anti-tank missile box launchers mounted), 105mm rifled gun (light tank configuration), eight NLOS missile box launchers with 20mm Denel Automatic Cannon, and 120mm mortar turret (armored fire support configuration).

RG-33 "Stallion" MRAP - The standard vanguard patrol vehicle in any South African Armed Services' vehicle patrol the RG-33 serves as a mine-resistant vehicle built to deflect blasts with its unique V-shaped hull. Available in a larger size, as well as with differing configurations, the Stallion is built for low-intensity conflicts, and quite capable of defending itself with a variety of defensive systems.

Also available, the standard "prime movers" of the South African Armed Services - the SAMIL 20, 50, and 100, respectively.

Atlas Aircraft Corporation is at the forefront of South Africa's military aviation industry, and is the producer of some of the most advanced aircraft available in the world today. Its designs have proven reliability and are at the forefront at ensuring the protection of the South African state, and its interests, both in Africa, and worldwide.

"Goshawk" Stealth Air Superiority Fighter - Classified design, export version still under design, demonstrations currently available in South Africa.

"Black Mamba" Stealth Tactical Strike Aircraft - With a design that is comparable in both speed and hauling capacity to the Tu-22M, but with a range boost due to its modern fuel efficient engines, the Black Mamba is the workhorse of South Africa's Air Force in tactical support of the navy and army. Able to carry large numbers of smaller munitions, as well as larger packages such as standoff cruise missiles, as well as missile-truck configurations, it is a very flexible aircraft that can work independently or in conjunction with other aircraft. Nicknamed "Death from Above" by many infantrymen in the South African Army, it has played an instrumental role in providing close, pinpoint strikes in Central Africa against militia forces and their bases.

200px-Roundel_of_the_Rhodesian_Air_Force

A major player in both civilian and military aviation in South Africa, Albatross Aerospace is a producer of many heavier aircraft, as well as autonomous systems, including a variety of surveillance and attack drones. Albatross is also the leading satellite producer in Africa, and provides almost 95% of all satellites for the South African government, and private industries.

Globemaster Tactical Airlift Aircraft - One of the premier transports of the South African Air Force, the Globemaster can deliver a variety of cargo to sometimes austere locations, with the ability to do combat unloads with "touch and go" landings. Anything from vehicles to pallets can be combat offloaded in such operations, and the aircraft is also able to perform airborne assaults, deploying paratroopers into combat zones when utilized correctly.

Albatross Aerospace is also the South African producer of the classic C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, and can fulfill orders of this aircraft, which include the elongated "Super Hercules", Electronic Warfare, Aerial Gunship, and a variety of specialized variants for special operations forces.

Damen South Africa provides the Union with the bulk of its shipbuilding needs, and given the historically rough nature of the South Atlantic and Southern Oceans, it has always produced sturdy ships with good sea-keeping. This tradition of excellence in providing such sturdy vessels is not lost in its military designs, which provide the South African Navy with its projection forces needed to protect itself regionally, as well as its interests worldwide.

Swift-class Heavy Corvette - Built by Damen in response for the Union's call for a corvette with good seakeeping abilities given the weather conditions and operating environments of the waters around South Africa, the Swift-class provides the South African Navy with a fast, low-observable, heavy-hitting (for its' class) platform. Built around the classic French La Fayette design, the Swift-class has sixteen peripheral VLS tubes instead of Harpoon launchers, along with a NLOS missile battery built in the center of the ship. Additional firepower is provided by the 76mm forward gun, as well as the tri-pack CIWS gun-missile-micorwave "GMM" kit, along with 25mm Autocannons and torpedoes.

Kruger-class Guided Missile Cruiser - Built to reclaim the medium-sized position that cruisers used to possess in the world's Navies, the Kruger-class is a well-armed, low-observable, and fully capable of directing anti-aircraft efforts for a carrier battlegroup and then some. Armed with almost two-hundred VLS tubes, along with two long-ranged 155mm guns in retractable turrets, and a variety of smaller guns (including three tri-pack GMM CIWS kits), and two ASW helicopters or four Firescout UAVs, the Kruger-class is one of the many proud ships that makes up the South African surface fleet.

State-class Fleet Carrier - Built as the premier projection vessel of the South African Navy, the State-class fleet carriers provide a base of operation for navalized Tawny Multirole Fighters, and Seahawk Stealth Air Superiority Fighters. Well armed with defensive armament, it also boasts an electromagnetic catapult system to launch aircraft, and is usually the focal point and command node for South African Naval operations when deployed abroad. As part of the South African "Anywhere, Anytime" Program, the State-class has also been given the ability to launch strategic missile operations with a battery of up to thirty cruise missiles mounted in armored peripheral launchers on the fantail of the ship.

Ambush-class Diesel Ultraquiet Submarine - These small, stealthy submarines are some of the premier underwater combatants of the South African Navy, and are the perfect area-denial weapon in the ocean, with the ability to hunt surface vessels and submarines alike. With a hull construction that includes a non-magnetic steel hull, which essentially negates the ability for magnetic anomaly detection of the submarine, and air-independent propulsion, the submarine is virtually invisible once submerged unless in very close proximity.

With a limited strategic strike capability, as well as the ability to harpoon its hunters like ASW helicopters with torpedo-launched surface-to-air missiles, it also can carry standard heavyweight torpedoes and naval mines. With the ability to operate in littoral waters, it can also participate in special operations forces infiltration and exfiltration, as well as hunt high-value targets in deep oceans, like ballistic or guided-missile submarines. When in range of an enemy carrier battlegroup, and armed with the superlative Denel Sealion Wake-Guided Torpedoes, the Ambush-class has little chance of failing in making its presence known with possibly devastating results.

As with almost all foreign weapon sales, the South African Foreign Service works as liaison for large deals, and after consulting the companies you have indicated in your request, the following will be the price breakdown;

Denel ISS

"Altogether, your purchase order for testing comes out to 17,107,500 International Dollars, if you would like to request a price breakdown on each weapon system, this can be achieved. That said, all small arms, up to the 60mm mortar, will be provide with ammunition free of charge for testing purposes. Ammunition for the 105mm and 155mm weaponry, with a standard package (one hundred rounds per gun) that includes differing ammunition types for your testing purposes, will add an additional 1,500,000 International Dollars.

We look forward to your response."

Samil

"We thank you in advance for your order, as it stands, your request currently comes out to 237,000,000 International Dollars, which includes all costs for ammunition that will be delivered along with your vehicles. As with common practice for South African defense industries for such large orders, we request that our customers pay half the dividend before shipment, and half upon arrival. As per an existing deal with South Africa's Naval Auxiliary, the vehicles will be delivered by government-owned ship."

Atlas AC

"We thank you for turning to Atlas Aircraft Corporation for your aerial combat needs, the current pricetag for a single 'Black Mamba' Tactical Strike Aircraft currently stands at two-hundred-fifty million apiece, which would make the current order, as it stands, 1.25 Billion International Dollars. Relevant information on the Goshawk Fighter will be provided free of charge due to your order for the 'Black Mamba' Tactical Strike Aircraft, and it can be delivered by South African Foreign Service personnel that are currently in your nation."

Albatross Aerospace

"Albatross Aerospace values both domestic and international customers, and we hope that your testing personnel are satisfied with the products that we provide to you. We look forward to hopefully doing more business with you as time passes, currently your order stands at 2,450,000,000 International Dollars for the aircraft you selected. Financing options do exist for the current price-tag, which we can discuss if you'd like."

Damen South Africa

"Damen South Africa thanks you for your order, and in your query as to whether we can provide a design assistance program for your local shipyards, that is perfectly feasible for us to do. Damen has provided the designs for almost the entirety of the South African Navy, and can gladly provide you with a plethora of designs that would work for your nation. As for your order to our shipyards for five heavy corvettes and five diesel submarines, the current pricetag for these vessels comes out to four billion international dollars. Financing options are available for these purchases, and we look forward to hearing back from you on future orders or design assistance."

As per the Hershey Corporation's product trial policy, initial equipment will be provided at a 10% discount, with appropriate munitions provided free of charge.  The normal cost of $831,400,000 has been reduced to $748,260,000.  A different option you may be interested is our new equipment trial rental program.  Under this policy equipment is rented at a 60% discount, if a purchase is made then rental money counts towards the total purchase cost.  The equipment is still provided with the necessary munitions and support staff to conduct trials.  The equipment rental option would only cost $332,560,000.    The purchase of ten M4 Rhino units is subject to our first time buyer discount of 5% bringing the price down to $133,000,000.

From: Hudson Bay Defense Industry Export & Control Agency

Eduardo Montealegre,

Your call for suitable arms have reached various domestic defense firms throughout the Hudson Bay Federation.  We know we are late to the affair; however, we were inclined to see what you purchased and offer things that you may not have gotten.  We are to formally inform you of our nation's companies desire to sell military grade equipment to your nation and that we have tentatively approved such a move.

Respectfully,

Greg Laurie

Juniper Arms Company offers two armament firearms for USCA to consider. First is the CAR-680 and the second is the PDW-50.  The catalog for both are here:

The Juniper CAR-680 is the primary battle rifle of the Hudson Bay Federation Armed Forces. Juniper Arms Company has developed the CAR-680 with "Man-Machine-Interface", focusing on the system integration, operational ergonomics,logistics/maintainability, and spiral interoperability of such a weapon system to enhance tactical performance for Hudson Bay Federation military personnel for the mid-21st century. The lightweight barrel is chrome lined and manufactured by the hammer forging process in Calgary, Alberta, Juniper Arms Factory. While most of the world is using either 5.56x45mm (M16) or 7.62x51mm (M14) cartridges, the CAR-680 is designed in mind towards the new 6.8mm Juniper SCC (Special Combat Cartridge), optimized on a .30 Browning cartridge for the best compromise of providing accuracy, reliability and terminal performance based off that the 6.5mm projectile is best for accuracy and the 7mm projectile is best terminal performance through tests. The 6.8mm round can easily best the former Soviet 7.62x39mm round by 61 m/s.

-System Intergration-
It comes equipped with a companion single-shot 40mm grenade launcher, called the PGL-680, which can be attached on a dedicated rail. No screws or latches are needed. Together, the CAR-680 and PGL-680, are a formidable weapon system. However, the PGL-680 is alone a standalone system when required. While the CAR-680 is base equipped with iron sights, full system integration can be had with the PGL-680 with a Fire Control System with Day/Night capabilities.

-Operational Ergonomics-
The CAR-680 caters to both right-handed and left-handed shooters as part of improvements in ergonomics. Juniper has developed one of the few ambidextrous assault rifles in the world with ambidextrous safeties, magazine catches and charging handles, the ability to change which side spent casings are ejected. The fire selector has a 82 degree rotation for quick mode selection without moving your firing hand. There are six sling attach swivel points that are strategically positioned for ease of use and comfort. Lastly, the CAR-680 has a fold-able telescopic with 4 collapsible positions to choose your best firing position and when not is use, fold for easy transport.

-Logistics/Maintainability-
One of the first things noticed of the CAR-680 is that there are no pins, thus making field stripping and maintenance easy. It uniquely has two receivers built mostly of high resistance polymers. Modular construction methods make replacement of sub-assembles fairly easy. The CAR-680 features a "Quick Change Barrel" that requires no tools to change barrels in just a matter of seconds at a press of a button. Available only in 12" and 16" barrel lengths at this moment.

-Spiral Interoperability-
Thanks to having four picatinny rails, the CAR-680 can nearly have unlimited customization from the base variant. Thus it is possible to enhance the tactical performance and operability by simply adding/removing accessories and components while maintaining the same platform. Accessories for the CAR-680 include: bayonet, laser sight, flashlight, silencer, various CQB sights (red-dot, ACOG, Holographic, etc.), tactical scope, front handle, and IR designator.

Type: Close Quarters and Personal Defense Weapon

Official Name: Juniper Personal Defense Weapon 50

Manufacture: Juniper Arms Company

Weight: 2.6 kg (5.7 lb)

Unit Cost: $900 HBCU

The Hudson Bay Federation Armed Forces, police forces and special agencies contacted various domestic firearm companies to replace the venerable MP5 and Uzi with the 9mm Parabellum rounds with new
requirements in compactness, lightweight, greater accuracy and range, environmental maneuverability, and increased ballistic performance for what was deemed the "Close Quarters/Personal Defense Weapon Competition of 2075".  Government agencies settled to two designs after extensive testing of nearly a dozens designs fielded for the competition, settling on submissions by Juniper Arms Company and Rocky Mountain Armaments Consortium.

Juniper's PDW-50 is a selective fire, straight blowback-operated weapon with a rate of fire of 900 RPM.  Construction makes heavy use of polymers for extremely reduced weight and cost.  It utilizes a closed bolt to give the PDW-50 maximum accuracy.  It is also fully fully ambidextrous and designed to be no longer than a man's shoulder.  The use of the small-caliber, high-velocity bottlenecked cartridge 5.7x28 mm ammunition was a response to replace the 9mm Parabellum required by the new Hudson Bay CQB/PDW armament requirements.  Weighing in at 6.0 g (93 grains), the 5.7x28mm is roughly half the weight of 9mm ammunition, meaning the same amount of ammunition to be carried for less weight, or allowing more ammunition to be carried for the same weight.  While the round exhibits a loud report and considerable muzzle flash, but it produces roughly 30 percent less recoil than the 9×19mm cartridge, improving controllability.  Lastly, the 5.7x28mm was designed for personal armor penetration, capable of penetrating a Level IIIA Kevlar vest at 200 m.
Then from Rocky Mtn Armaments, the CQG-10, another PDW.

hk_mp7_b_zps2c989570.jpg

Type: Close Quarters and Personal Defense Weapon

Official Name: Close Quarters Gun Variant 10

Manufacture: Rocky Mountain Armaments Consortum

Weight: 1.9 kg (4.19 lb) without magazine

Length: 638 mm (25.1 in) stock extended / 415 mm (16.3 in) stock collapsed

Barrel Length: 180 mm (7.1 in)

Cartridge: RMA 4.6x30mm

Action: Gas-operated, short stroke piston, rotating bolt

Rate of Fire: 950 RPM

Muzzle Velocity: 735 m/s (2,411 ft/s)

Range: Effective - 200 m (656 ft); Maximum - 1,700 m (5,577 ft)

Magazine: 20, 30 or 40 round box magazine

Unit Cost: $1025 HBCU

Rocky Mountain's CQG-10 with it's armor piercing 4.6x30mm was in response to the proliferation of high-quality body armor has begun to make guns that fire pistol ammunition ineffective.  Intended to be
direct rival to the Juniper PDW-50, using a short stroke piston action similarly found on the G36 and HK416.  The weapon allows a conventional 20-round, 30-round, or 40-round box magazine to be fit within the pistol grip (the 20-round magazine being comparable in size to a 15-round 9mm magazine, while the 40-round magazine compares to a 30-round 9 mm magazine). The weapon features an ambidextrous fire selector, bolt catch lever and magazine release. It has an extendable stock and a folding front grip; it can be fired either one-handed or two-handed.

This ammunition is unique among submachine guns in that the bullet is made almost entirely of a hardened steel penetrator instead of softer copper or lead.  The RMA 4.6x30mm is a truely unique cartiridge, with a has a muzzle velocity of 720 m/s (2,362 ft/s), which is nearly as high as that of a .223 Remington round.  Tests have shown that the round can penetrate a protected target (20 layers of kevlar with 1.6 mm titanium backing) even at 200m.

Replacing the venerable M60A3s in Federation Army service, the M-70A1E MBT is a significant improvement from the M60 Pattons that have been phased out of service.  The tank is armed with Yukon Metalworks/Rupert Industries' 120-millimeter (4.7 in) L/55 tank-gun, and is capable of adopting a 140-millimeter (5.5 in) gun.  The M20A1E has increased armor thickness on the hull's glacis plate, the turret frontal arc and the turret roof, protection augmented by the added armor that is built into the tank during the manufacturing process, as opposed to being added on after assembly.  The crew is also protected against Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) threats, as the tank is equipped with a NBC overpressurization system which provides up to 4 mbar (0.004 kp/cm2) over-pressure inside the vehicle. The M20A1E equipped with a fire protection system. Four 9 kg Halon fire extinguisher bottles are installed on the right behind the driver's station. The bottles are connected to pipes and hoses and are
activated automatically by the fire detection system, when temperatures rise above 82°C (180 °F) inside the fighting compartment, or manually via a control panel in the driver's compartment.

The M70A1 uses spaced, multi-layered composite armour throughout the design, similiar to the Chobham armor on various MBTs found worldwide.  Rupert offers an "Urban Fighter Armor Kit' at an additional cost with reactive armor plates against RPGs and ATGMs, along with a remote-controlled .50 HMG turret in place of the commander's 7.62mm MMG with thermal sites, additional top side gun shields for the loader's MMG, an exterior telephone for outside troops to talk to the tank commander.   The M70A1E utilizes it's own ADS, although the export version will not have the propriety ADS system used by the Federation Armed Forces and will install a foreign ADS on the request of the customer.

EMES 15 fire control system with a dual magnification stabilized primary sight. The primary sight has an integrated Neodymium Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (Nd:YAG) solid state laser rangefinder and a 120
element cadmium mercury telluride, CdHgTe (also known as CMT) Zeiss thermal sight which are both linked to the tank's fire control computer.  A backup 8x auxiliary telescope FERO-Z18 is mounted coaxially for the gunner. The commander has an independent periscope, the Zeiss PERI-R 17 A2. The PERI-R 17 A2 is a stabilised panoramic periscope sight designed for day / night observation and target identification, and it provides an all round view with a traverse of 360°. The thermal image from the commander's periscope is displayed on a monitor inside the tank.

Due to the flat ground of the Federation primarily focused on mobility, the M70A1E is considered one of the fastest MBTs in the world.

PDW-50
kingarmsfnp90_zps13d37af0.jpg

Type: Close Quarters and Personal Defense Weapon

"Good day.

Unfortunately, we have already begun testing of equipment, so your catalogue comes a little late. However, if a need for machine pistols or 'personal defense weapons' arises, we might be contacting you for further information.

Additionally, we might be interested in the AWACS and Aerial Surveillance variants of the C-240.

Lastly, we regret to inform you that your tank, optimised for mobility in flatlands and plains, would be less than suitable for the rugged and heavy terrain found in the USCA.

With regards."

Hernandes-Segura Sistemas:

The total for your order comes to 62,700,000NSC (Sixty two million, seven hundred thousand National Selenarctan Coins). From our current reserves we can ship all except the AX series rifles immediately; additional AX series to fulfill your order will be completed and delivered within six months.

Unfortunately, we do not offer licenses to manufacture our systems outside of Selenarctos. Hernandez-Segura takes pride on the quality of our goods, which rely on the precision and material expertise of the Artega Group's Advanced Manufacturing Techniques to assemble properly. It is simply not reasonable to expect to obtain the same quality with lesser process technologies, and we would not consent to produce inferior goods.

Bulldog Armored Vehicles:

The total cost plus delivery for the three hundred vehicles you requested is 520,000,000NSC (Five hundred twenty million National Selenarctan Coins). A license to manufacture the M270 MLRS will cost 50,000,000NSC plus 120,000NSC per unit constructed, while a license to construct the Terrex ICV will cost 200,000,000NSC plus 80,000NSC per unit constructed for a total upfront cost of 250,000,000NSC (Two hundred fifty million National Selenarctan Coins). Please note that these licenses are granted to the government of the USCA to allot production within the USCA as you see fit, the licenses are non-transferable, and vehicles manufactured under this license may not be exported.

Selenarctos Aerospace Consortium:

Thirty-six F35 Strike Fighters plus thirty-six Scorpion Gunships will cost 3,960,000,000NSC (Three billion, nine hundred sixty million National Selenarctan Coins). Payment over an extended period of time is acceptable, at a four percent annual interest rate as before. We offer licenses to manufacture many spare parts, but due to trade restrictions we do not license production of our combat aircraft nor the radar and computer systems, stealth features, or advanced materials that may be utilized in them.

Private Responses to the USCA

Denel

"We at Denel will gladly grant you production rights to the weaponry you have selected, along with the production order, which will come from existing first-line reserve stocks or straight from our production lines. All weaponry is guaranteed ready for use on arrival, for such a large order and request, Denel has assessed a five percent discount on the total initial order price, which now stands at $251,512,500 International Dollars.

Additionally, for full production rights, an initial fee of $50 Million dollars will be assessed for purchase of production rights, the license is non-transferable, and sale of the weapons produced cannot be exported. Furthermore, there will be an $8.5 Million dollar annual fee on continuing to hold the license to produce this weaponry.

We look forward to hearing from you on this offer."

Samil

"Samil is delighted that you have turned to one of the worlds' foremost vehicle producers for your nation's needs, and we can provide the order that you requested without delay. We will begin the dispatch of the vehicles you requested, post haste, once our terms are accepted, and we have even assessed a seven-point-five percent discount on your production order from us. Your total for your initial production currently stands at $749,250,000, with the discount assessed.

For production rights to the three vehicles you have selected, the total for this non-transferable, non-exportable license is an initial payment of $200 Million, with a $20 Million annual fee assessed for the first ten years, before that amount is cut in half.

We hope these terms are amenable to you, and look forward to hearing from your representatives."

Atlas AC

"Atlas Aircraft is happy to hear back from the USCA with an offer, and we look forward to fulfilling that offer. That said, the South African Parliament does not allow the export of production for Goshawk fighters at this time, and all production is to be kept limited to our South African facilities. That being said, we will offer you to export your request of sixty Goshawk fighters within the next year and a half, at a price of $19.5 Billion International Dollars.

As for your request, we can gladly present you with production rights to the Black Mamba Tactical Strike Aircraft, which, when combined with the twenty-four aircraft you requested, will come out to $16 Billion (Six Billion for the production of the aircraft themselves). The license, as per standard South African defense industry regulations, is non-transferable, and the product and components non-exportable. There are no annual fees associated with this licensing, and the fee is a one-time cost."

We look forward to hearing from you finalizing this offer."

Damen SA

"We are very ecstatic to hear that you have chosen Damen SA as a primary contractor for all your naval needs, and as such, we will assess a ten percent discount on your most recent order. Our yards will immediately begin the construction of your order, which is now assessed currently at 1.8 Billion. We will continue providing you with designs and suggestions that may be amenable to you, as time goes on, and we hope that you contract us for any maritime needs you may have."
