[/quote] It depends on the tech level you have. If you have 500 tech for Level 9 bombers then all you need to cause max damage is 1 Level 9 bomber. All the rest should be fighters. Moridin Posted October 28, 2010 Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 One bomber is all you need to deal maximum damage. As near as I can figure it out, when your (escorted) bombing runs succeed, the one bomber will always be enough, and when your bombing runs fail, no amount of bombers is going to help you. Therefore, all that adding extra bombers does is decrease your chances of a successful bombing run. I should add a disclaimer though - while this is the strategy I use and as far as I can tell this is how the mechanics operate, air battles are such a crap shoot that there's a fair possibility I've drawn the wrong conclusions.
