Despite the blitz I think the odds are still in TPF's favor. LE has a higher avg. ns and are better organized, but TPF has the numbers and their nukes likely won't be spied away. Should be a great battle. Now hopefully it stays a 1v1 battle ;)

This ought to be fun, I just hit the top 3 LE nations.
Nuclear anarchy ftw!

** This should cement my status as the top nation for casualties in TE too :P

In a Muder, Inc. announcement on another section of the forums, the announcement stated that LE would be protecting Murder, Inc when they reform. Is this true LE?

Some important stats for the evening:
Top 7 Day Smallest Alliance Gains

1) -73,297 Strength Change - Lafayette Escadrille
2) -44,363 Strength Change - SOS Brigade
3) -11,835 Strength Change - The Phoenix Federation
I'm kind of surprised it's that big a difference, considering their blitz and all. But we're turning things around. The anarchied numbers have TPF at 46 and LE at 44. The avg NS numbers are TPF at 2653, and LE at 2661. We now have more nukes, 42-30, even though we're using them just as fast and Debo's SDI has blocked three of mine lol. I've spied away several tho, myself.

The guys I'm fighting have all taken huge beatings, getting nuked everyday will do that. I'm taken quite a huge one myself, ain't it fun times eh? This is the big one tho
Total Soldier Casualties

1) 175,485 Total Soldiers Lost - Clash of Discord - White Team
2) 108,279 Total Soldiers Lost - MNG Debo of LittleBigNation - Black Team
3) 105,730 Total Soldiers Lost - BruceBanner of Temperamental - Blue Team
4) 103,535 Total Soldiers Lost - Jack Shepard of The Lost Island - White Team
5) 93,913 Total Soldiers Lost - Ammon of United States of Me - Black Team
You're most welcome for the opportunity to join me on this exalted list, Debo and Ammon. I'm glad I can help all your dreams come true in this wonderful and glowing fashion. I don't think I've got a shot at any of NeoGandalf's bigger numbers. He was over 300,000 at least once that I can remember. I'm rather smugly proud of myself tho, and I'm not even cheating. If I wanted to really stack my numbers I'd quit spying away Debo's nukes hehe.

The rest of you who aren't fighting anyone: LOOOOOSAHHSSS.
Y'all fail at TE.

Clash,

13 new nations for TPF since the war started, totally 32,000 NS might help you explain the difference in loss numbers. LE nations have remained static. Not complaining, only pointing out a difference that closes the gap.

But, a 73 to 44 gap remains. Salute! We have fought many rounds together, and I can honestly say TPF is much improved in their fighting ability and tenacity. Infra monger AA's typically peace out to protect their infra, which happened in the past with TPF. NOT THIS TIME. Also, to a member, the wars have remained, winning or losing.

I have nothing but respect of the opponents this round. We've drove each other into the ground, fighting the whole way. It's been fun!

I found both AAs had large war chests and the most HNMS's of any AAs in the game. Also, the blitz found many TPF nations sitting at DC1 and quite a few online. It was a great defense.

All in all, it has been fun!

Salute!

Well, I'm going to quote JB here, because I think he's right. We've been paying closer attention to our membership roster than in sessions past, and we have been as high as 159 that I've seen this round. Right now the number is 149, so I really don't think we added 13 nations, tbh.
The facts are that when you guys DoW'd on us we had 150 nations, give or take one or two. As of the moment I'm typing this message we have 149. You guys attacked us because you're great fighters and you wanted to fight someone who you know are also great fighters. That's my guess anyway. At TPF we always enjoy fighting you fellas at LE and we'll enjoy dragging this thing out til the end of the round. Lets enjoy the bloodshed, shall we? Lets stop arguing about the numbers and just fight.
Actually, he's right on everything. There is no finer fighting AA in TE than LE and no one we at TPF respect more. Classy fights and classy fighters. Every time I get to meet new and exciting people to trade nukes with, and this time it's been MNG Debo. Good fellow, that one. LE, it's always an honor to dance with you.

I'm still not sure why everyone is arguing over numbers. When we were blitzed we had 150 members +/- two or three. As of the time I'm writing this message we have 149. So sorry to point out the fact that TPF has as many members now as we did when you guy's DoW'd on us. REGARDLESS of that, what's the point in arguing about this anyway? Lets leave the petty arguments alone and enjoy beating up on each other.

Now, I'm too lazy to go look at these nations, though we have around the same number of nations we've had all session long. Anyway, unlike LE, TPF has an open recruiting policy. We are STILL sending out recruiting notices. As BR said, at least one nation was from our Hatchery, which runs all round long as well. Probably the bottom several nations at least are from those sources.

Total NS of the nations listed there: 31300ish
Avg NS of same: 2408ish

Considering that our current alliance average right now is 2630, I don't see where all that is much to brag about. What was it when the war started? Over 3000 somewhere I'm sure. It seems to me an argument could be made that we took in those poor wayward souls out of the kindness of our lil black flabby cholesterol-clogged hearts. I don't think we got much of an advantage from them - with no change in total alliance numbers - against an alliance who's avg. ns pre-war was over 4000, right?

There is this as well, as of the time of this posting:

Top 7 Day Smallest Alliance Gains
1) -143,485 Strength Change - Lafayette Escadrille
2) -45,891 Strength Change - SOS Brigade
3) -38,638 Strength Change - The Phoenix Federation

That's over 100,000 difference.
Pretty impressive, really. I'm very proud of how well we're fighting.
Someone might have read our war guide!

Current alliance stats:
LE: 70 nations, 51 anarchied, 1816 avg NS
TPF: 149 nations, 38 anarchied, 2630 avg NS

However, this does lend HUGE credence to one thing.

Numbers of nations counts for more - in some cases at least - then average ns does. Everyone complains about the way alliance score is calculated. Well, maybe we shouldn't be so quick to judge it's bias towards alliance numbers. The data here, at least my interpretation of it, says maybe it's right on. At the start of this war, LE had the bigger nations (more nukes across more nations, as well) and TPF had more total nations. So, if we say the average LE nation has six wars, the average TPF nations has less than 3, statistically (though we do got some enthusiastic people with six ourselves, and some huggers aren't fighting at all.) That's been the difference since TPF does appear to be winning the war overall.

IMHO, numbers of nations just might matter a LOT.
Well, when it's 2-1 anyways hehe.

... in which case o/ LE! for having huevos grande in declaring on us :P
Bold, infra-hatin' fellows, the lot of you.

Next session, LE and TPF need to attack someone else - together.
All of TE would tremble in fear of our wrath.

200,000 is hallowed ground! However, the guys I'm fighting are all out of nukes, so I'm not likely to gain as much now. I got lucky with two spy attempts today hehe. Bruce is rising fast (someone's nuking the snot out of him lol,) and maybe I might have to nuke Debo again just cause of love. If he asks nice enough. Wherever NeoGandalf is right now, he laughs, his records most likely secure. But this isn't over yet! I still got people to kill.
