Kankou
OOC: Just something: The missiles exploded before left Korean airspace, after Zoot's metagaming of moving his ships elsewhere.
Triyun
A delegation from the United Federation of the East was dispatched to this bloc to take the seats of the People's Republic of China under the principle of continuity of the state. The delegation issued a formal diplomatic communique.
Under the historical principle of continuity of the state, while the government of the Chinese people has switched from the old "People's Republic of China" to the new People's Republic of China and its federated partners in the United Federation of the East, the Chinese State has remained in continuous existence. As such, the United Federation of the East formally is claiming right to the Chinese Seat in the Bangkok Treaty.
OOC: For those unfamiliar with diplomatic jargon, this is essentially the principle which states that even in the violent overthrow of a regime inside the country while the government changes the state as a formal diplomatic entity continues. This is the principle under which the communist People's Republic of China claimed the Republic of China's (Taiwan) seat on the UN Security Council even though the UN Charter states it is the Republic of China's. Kankou
Greater Korea would like to reapply for membership. First of all, we apologize for the aborted missile launches. We had noticed potentially hostile English naval ships right off the coast of Australia, and thus was attempting to fight them. It seemed they moved their ships to the south of New Zealand after our notification of the missile launches, hence we made the missiles self-destruct before it left Korean waters. We hope our mistakes can be forgiven, and that Asian unity can be achieved. OOC: Basically, Zoot Zoot metamoved his ships after I announced the missile tests. Check his Defense thread for the edit time. Also, someone start a new thread for this. Edited January 6, 2011 by Kankou

Triyun
The UFE has recognized the continuation of both the Serene Republic's bilateral treaty and multi lateral treaty commitments with the UFE. Obviously we support and recognize this delegation.
king of cochin
The Kingdom of Cochin recognizes Serene Republic of Vaule as the legal successor state to the Socialist Union of Vauleyo-Buryatia and hence support its inclusion into the Treaty of Bangkok. Regarding the issue of Korea, the Kingdom choses to abstain for the moment.
