When all of the enemy soldiers had entered floor 5, the TUO soldiers decided to attack their enemies from the back with knives. They sneaked up the stairs, and started jabbing at the enemy soldiers' heads and necks from the back. Meanwhile, in the office area: The TUO soldiers were surprised when they noticed that their enemies' reinforcements had arrived. Few of the TUO soldiers sprayed the chemical cream point-blank at the enemy reinforcement using their fire extinguishers while about eight others threw large chunks of sharp concrete at them. Meanwhile, the rest of the TUO soldiers continued to attack the weaken enemy force on the other side of the room. In the base... Most of the computer terminals as well as the server had already been destroyed due to the knives being flung everywhere. Nevertheless the Disparuean operative who had been sent there still tried his best to stuff several folders and files, as well as things that looked like storage devices, into his backpack. The Disparuean almost thought that they were about to die since more soldiers entered the floor, but he immediately recognized the Disparuean flag and the Disparuean Forces' Coat of Arms patched into the soldiers uniforms. "Finally! I thought that you'd never come! DON'T USE YOUR GUNS!" ----------- "...DON'T USE YOUR GUNS!" The lead soldier had no idea why he wasn't allowed to use guns, but since TUO's soldiers weren't using them, there should be a good reason why they can't use them. But what would they use as weapons? "You heard the man, don't use your firearms! Use anything else, though." In an instant, several TUO soldiers from Floor 4 instantly filed into Floor 5, trying to stab them in the back, while TUO soldiers already in Floor 5 attempted to spray chemicals into them or pelt them with sharp debris. Fortunately, they were wearing proper gear and were largely unaffected by the attacks, save for those that got hit in exposed areas. The reinforcements fought back by using their rifles as melee weapons, while some also picked up debris on the floor and hurled them back into TUO soldiers. One of the Disparueans, who was getting tired by their disadvantage, prepared his rifle and aimed for one of TUO's soldiers... Above ground:"-bleep-! Enemy reinforcements spotted entering the tunnel." one of the snipers whispered into the radio. "Rig the area with bombs, destroy as many files or other objects they try to remove from the base by hitting them with rockets." the commander replied over the radio. "Confirmed. Requesting claymore mines." the sniper asked. "They are on your way, 30 minutes at least." the commander replied. OoC: Er...how could they communicate via radio? By the time he arrived, an announcer stated that the flight for Great Lakes State was preparing for takeoff, "Just in time!", he thought to himself. He walked towards the plane, looking like all the other people around him. The plane bound for New City was a 747 built in 1987. Patterson got into the plane, put away his suitcase, and then sat in a seat next to a woman who was seven months pregnant who told him, "I'm a Disparuan, my husband is a Humanitarian worker, and I was in Seattle to visit a distant relative.", "Fascinating.", Patterson replied in a uninterested tone, his rolled eyes disguised by the sunglasses he was wearing. A fat mustachioed man next to the Disparuan said, "Disparuan? humanitarian? That sounds a little dangerous!" Half an hour later, the plane took off, Patterson started reading a worn out copy of "1984", his favorite book, as the mustachioed started to take a nap, and the Disparuan said, "It's gonna be a several hour trip." The other Disparuean soldiers followed suit. The next floor smelled entirely like a hospital and a laboratory mixed together. The entire floor had the aura of torture, pain and other negative emotions. With that in mind, the lead soldier bravely stepped forward and cautiously looked for TUO soldiers... Meanwhile the other TUO soldiers tried to hit them with oxygen cylinders and extinguishers. The lead soldier had enough of this. He took his rifle and quickly took aim of TUO's soldiers, and ordered the other Disparueans to follow suit. The enemy was probably deceiving them into thinking that they couldn't use firearms just to get an advantage over them. "Fire!" shouted the leader, just as their enemies brought out the chemicals... While still in the airport, his cellphone rang, answering it he asked, "What?", the caller turned out to be Hargrove who wanted to tell Patterson something. "Patterson,", he said, "Change of plans, the TUO has already got plenty of conventional Weapons, tell them that you are a Tahaoan Black Market Arms Dealer who has acquired Uranium. Tell them that you have enough Uranium to obliterate Eterna.", Patterson queried, "Then what do I do?", Hargrove paused for effect then he said, "If you are greeted by a high ranking official, even if it isn't the Leader, eliminate him quickly and quietly. Even if it isn't the Leader, it'll still cause chaos and confusion in their organization.", Patterson paused for a moment, he grinned a most devious grin and he let out a most sinister snicker, then he replied, "Got it, then what?" Hargove told him, "Disperse into the hills and sabotage their war effort! Destroy their arms and fuel depots, and communication equipment, sabotage their vehicles, booby trap their patrol routes, assassinate real Black Market arms dealers and TUO leaders, capture their facilities and camps, throw a wrench into their ability to harass GLS, New Englander, and Disaparuan forces, punish them for killing civilians, kill as many of those !@#$%^&* as you can!!!!!", Patterson replied, "Understood, sir, goodbye.", and he hung up. The sparks created by the firearms ignited the gas vapors in the air, creating an weak gas explosion that rapidly expanded, literally lighting the air on fire. The explosion engulfed everyone and burned anything that was flammable. Worse, it quickly spread throughout the bunker, including the office and the utility room. The utility room was a special concern for the TUO when they first came in. Not only it had higher concentration of gas fume, but there were plenty of fuel in there that can quickly turned into explosions if ignited. The fire quickly spread into the utility room, amplifying due to the higher concentration of the gas vapors and the moment the intense heat ignited the pool of gas on the floor, a massive flame shot up and spread throughout the utility room, igniting the fuel tanks. The resulting multiple massive gas explosions blew out or soften all of the remaining support beams in the utility room and shattered the second floor. The entire bunker rapidly collapsed, forcing all of the smoke and heated air through the tunnel. Above ground, a massive cloud of smoke and hot air is seen bursting through the tunnel's entrance and the spot where the bunker is right underneath growing even deeper. Hanging up, he picked his cellphone and screamed, "What?!", the caller was Hargove who wanted to inform Patterson of some news, "Jimmy, Congress has voted to send aid for the Great Lakes State! The troops and humanitarian workers will move out in 24 hours! You are to get out of the city and head into the wilderness, your weapons and tools shall come in handy! The election is suppose to fill all of the empty Legislative spots and allow the Great Lakes State government to be fully functional. IC: Some of TUO soldiers threw all of their knives, picked up debris, such as sharp chunks of concrete, fire extinguishers, or small steel beams that can be used for jabbing or beating and charged at the GLS-SEF soldiers. One of the soldiers charged at the GLS-SEF soldiers while spraying the chemical cream at them using his fire extinguisher.Other TUO soldiers picked up the debris and chucked it at the GLS-SEF soldiers before engaging in a fierce melee battle. The GLS-SEF threw a sharp chunk of concrete at the charging TUO soldier with the intent of knocking him out. The others continued to engage the other TUO soldiers in a fierce, and bloody, melee battle with everything they had. Outside the bunker's entrance, above ground:The TUO snipers could not resist their urge to kill, and fired at the New England/Disparu soldiers guarding the entrance with their silencers equipped. After a few shots, they packed up their equipment and moved to another location to continue spying on the enemy soldiers that were guarding the tunnel. The GLS-SEF soldiers, as well regular Army soldiers stationed outside the entrance, found themselves under fire as several soldiers fell to the ground. either killed or wounded. The soldiers, in retaliation, fired back at the sources of the TUO shooters. As soon as the Disparuean Forces' Special Operations lost contact with the two operatives in TUO's base thanks to TUO troops jamming the signal, they immediately sent a remnant of Operation Enigma into the scene to find out what's happening. The Disparueans alerted the New Englanders about the situation before leaving.Several minutes later, they landed in a field that had several craters in it. They quickly managed to find the secret base's entrance based on the operatives' last known position. Some of the squadron entered the base to find out what was happening while some stayed to guard the entrance. ---------- The troops who went in managed to get to Floor 5 without any problems, besides the fact that some almost choked to death on the way there. They were surprised that some people in the room, which were probably TUO soldiers, were throwing knives towards what they thought were the Allied force. Why would they use knives instead of guns? The New Englanders were, indeed, alerted by the Disparueans, and rushed into the scene. When reaching the secret entrance, the New Englander soldiers rushed into the building, quickly ascending several floors. Upon reaching the fifth floor, the soldiers could see a fierce battle was going on, but what baffled them the most was that the TUO were using knives instead of guns—and the GLS-SEF were doing the same. Why? Nevertheless, the soldiers charged into battle, helping the GLS-SEF soldiers engage the TUO soldiers. "Follow them!" shouted the lead Disparuean soldier as he climbed up the hole. The other Disparuean soldiers followed suit. The next floor smelled entirely like a hospital and a laboratory mixed together. The entire floor had the aura of torture, pain and other negative emotions.With that in mind, the lead soldier bravely stepped forward and cautiously looked for TUO soldiers... The remaining GLS-SEF and Army soldiers climbed up the hole alongside the Disparueans. Upon reaching there, they advanced cautiously, keeping an eye out for anything... Before the base imploded: None of the snipers were hit since there were so much cover in the forest, such as rocks, trees, and logs. It consisted of aluminum/iron/chromium/titanium/nickel/copper refinement facilities and other facilities that produce alloys and steel. There was something odd though. The owner of the facility was one of the many die-hard loyal members of TUO and planned on hiring only TUO members that were mind altered during the war. A massive bunker was also going to be built underneath the facility. --------------------------------------------------- In the uncompleted administrative office building in the facility's construction site: "So, what's our plan?" asked Tim Harg, the owner of the facility. "Simple. Build the facility after making sure that the buildings won't collapse when we start building our underground base. After we earn enough cash, then we start working on the base. The extra dirt can be stored and slowly disposed by mixing it with the waste from the refining. We are going to sneak in parts of large equipments to avoid attracting attention, move them inside the underground construction site, and start building. After we are done, then the equipments are taken apart and transported away from this place. We can sneak in supplies for our base and our military by hiding them in containers and ship them in to avoid attention." the masked leader responded "You think we might able to pull this off without getting caught by the nosy inspectors?" asked Tim Harg "Yep. If they do get suspicious, we can bribe them enough money so they live twice without ever having to work again, if my soldiers can retrieve all of the diamonds I kept in that wreaked base." replied the masked TUO leader. A day later, in the masked leader's shelter, somewhere in the woods... The radio crackled to life while he was cooking chicken noodles, "Sir, our former headquarter bunker have, um, imploded from the underground gas explosions after Disparu and New England soldiers stormed inside it. We only managed to retrieve half of the diamonds." Silence... "AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!" A whole pot of steamy chicken noodle soup is flung across the room, smashing into the radio and short-circuiting it. "-bleep- you son of a -bleep- idiotic knuckleheads! You were suppose to secure the god-bleep- area and make sure those nosy, happy trigger air-head "security" soldiers from even thinking about storming that bunker! Now where am I going to get all of the cash boost I need to rebuilt my army!?!?" the masked leader roared as he hurls a pan at the ruined radio, completely shattering it. "Now, about those silly elections that will take place next week..." he mumbled to himself. "I have a grand idea to spoil that event." he continued... They quickly found heavy oxygen cylinders, surgical scissors, fire extinguishers, and various sharp objects. Some of them threw the scissors at the enemy soldiers and others charged at the enemies, using the fire extinguishers and oxygen cylinders as melee weapons.However, a few of the TUO soldiers continued to look for weapons in the medical section, and found their jackpot... A chemical storage room connected to various laboratory rooms. The room was filled with containers of potentially deadly chemicals, such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acid. The TUO soldiers charged out of the chemical storage room and ran toward the enemy soldiers, ready to throw the acid at them when close enough. The scissors and various sharp objects bounced off the armors of the GLS-SEF, through they had to duck and avoid the falling fire extinguishers and oxygen cylinders. When the TUO soldiers charged at them holding the acid, the GLS-SEF picked up various objects they could find and hurled them at their enemies with the intent of stopping them in their tracks. The TUO soldiers were concerned with firearms and explosives ever since they noticed gas fume was coming from the ruptured fuel tanks. And now their nightmare had came true...WHOOSH! The sparks created by the firearms ignited the gas vapors in the air, creating an weak gas explosion that rapidly expanded, literally lighting the air on fire. The explosion engulfed everyone and burned anything that was flammable. Worse, it quickly spread throughout the bunker, including the office and the utility room. The utility room was a special concern for the TUO when they first came in. Not only it had higher concentration of gas fume, but there were plenty of fuel in there that can quickly turned into explosions if ignited. The fire quickly spread into the utility room, amplifying due to the higher concentration of the gas vapors and the moment the intense heat ignited the pool of gas on the floor, a massive flame shot up and spread throughout the utility room, igniting the fuel tanks. The resulting multiple massive gas explosions blew out or soften all of the remaining support beams in the utility room and shattered the second floor. The entire bunker rapidly collapsed, forcing all of the smoke and heated air through the tunnel. Above ground, a massive cloud of smoke and hot air is seen bursting through the tunnel's entrance and the spot where the bunker is right underneath growing even deeper. Finding the TUO in the first place was much easier said than done, and convincing that you are an arms dealer is even harder. The soldiers on the ground felt some tremors on the ground. It felt like an earthquake. Upon seeing smoke come out from the secret entrance, the soldiers immediately contacted their superiors about what they could do next... Private message to New England and Disparu from Frank Swater:You might want to warn your military in Great Lakes State to be ready for a spike in TUO's attacks. CLASSIFIED RESPONSE TO: Frank Swater FROM: Department of Defense Very well. Our soldiers will be placed on high alert, and will reinforce their position in the GLS's major cities and towns. I am standing here in front of the 2009 Legislative voting station in New City, which is vastly overcrowded. The problems surfaced when several of the ballot machines malfunctioned and had to be shut down to be repaired, further increasing the waiting line. The election is suppose to fill in the vast empty seats in the Legislative and allow the government to be fully functional soon." News camera moves as the reporter attempts to interview someone "Sir, what do you think of this election?" asked the news reporter. "I am quite excited about this. It's my first time voting here and I hope it goes fi-" Phosgene gas bombs from several vehicles close to the waiting line and chlorine bomb in the building explode. "Oh -bleep-!" the news reporter screams as he tries to run away from the rapidly expanding clouds of gas, including many other people. Another phosgene bomb goes off, in front of the news reporter.
