comrade nikonov
A few days ago, several deafening blasts were heard and observed upon by satelittes. In a few crucial minutes, the heart of the Northeast People's Republic was destroyed by nuclear weapons seemingly fired from within the NPR itself. Although state-media fell soon after, some brave internet bloggers managed to get some Iridium satelitte links and posted the following: Long story short: The Glorious Politcal Bureau of the Northeast People's Republic thought for some glorious political reason that launching a MIRV at itself to prove its S-400 anti-ballistic defenses worthy. To further demonstrate its confidence on crappy Russian technology, it decided the MIRVs will be loaded with live nuclear warheads, and fired into the centers of Tianjin and Beijing, which together house 65% of the Northeast People's Republic's population. Well, it obviously didn't go so well. The warhead on Beijing was successfully destroyed, but the cloud of radioactive debris made the city an inhospitable wasteland. Tianjin wasn't so lucky, and was pretty much completely annihilated by the warhead. Rioting broke out in other regions of the nation immediately, taking advantage of the lack of central command. Wuhan and Shenyang fell to local warlord control. Now the nation is disintegrati--- The blog ended abruptly, but the last words were easily made out. Subtleknifewielder
It was a day before someone browsing online found the blog. This only confirmed the reports as received by satellite intel that something terrible had happened. An immediate report was forwarded to the Dragon Empire, containing a copy of the blog entry. Maelstrom Vortex
The result of the information delivery was repeated face palms by Maelstrom who was wondering how much carnage he could take in a week. He ordered the Dragonisian Salvation Army to move in as soon as the fallout had mostly blown away and clean-up was possible. He also called for a White Cross Global Radiation Alert. Sir Keshav IV
"We shall send 500 HAZMAT suited soldiers are being deployed to Beijing and Tianjin to help control the radiation. Two-Thousand Five Hundred troops are being deployed to keep the country from falling into complete anarchy." OOC: I'm moving in.
Maelstrom Vortex
"We're recognizing PRC control over the region and allowing them to administer this event given their previous claims on the land. The Empire, however, will send resources to assist in anyway they need in this humanitarian crisis. I am advising the Empire to go to Radiation Alert in case fallout patterns shift." Sir Keshav IV
Air Crafts were dropping pamphlets about the military orders to walk in to control the situation of the nation and that everything will be taken without a single drop of blood and the co-operation was needed since the government of Beijing betrayed the people. Biohazard
Imperium Romanum needs to ask the question, one that begs for an answer: The $%&@ were they thinking when loading their MIRVs with Live Nuclear Warheads? We are, however, saddened by the tragic loss of so many innocent lives, for such an obscure and, well, stupid reason. This great loss of life is deeply mourned by not only Rome, but surely across the world. We shall be erecting a statue, a monument, to remember that on this day, a great loss of life was incurred for no reason what so ever. Every single person shall be missed. Roman hearts and prayers are extended towards the families of the lost ones. Picture of the Statue
Maelstrom Vortex
On the behalf of Asians and the lost.. who cannot now speak for themselves.. I wish to note our appreciation for the humanitarianism shown by the Imperium Romanum. We and our neighbors shall do our best to help our neighbors through our tragedy, but if we need help, we will know who we can turn to. Sir Keshav IV
" The HAZMAT troops quardened off the main areas where the nuclear warheads struck and the army would go no more closer then 100 kilometers to keep a distance from the Radiation. The Capital in a press confrence said- This has been so far peaceful with no drop of blood and the soldiers are making great progress in taking control over the country. We have set a curfew and are waiting to go near Beijing to see if any loyalists are left and to see if they would cause trouble. We are hoping to keep control over the lands peacefully. The soldiers have been advised to keep their guns inside and not to load it unless someone starts shooting at their vehicles."

Sir Keshav IV
"The men were having problems nearing Beijing. Two-Hundred Armed men started shooting at the soldiers. The Soldiers fired back at the armed men and a reported 80 men were dead and 3 captured."
