iamthey Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) I am fully against community appointment, making GM an elected position would inherently make the position itself non-impartial by its very nature as the new GM would want to maintain popularity rather than be an objective judge. Also I would say that community appointment vs mod appointment is just as arbitrary a process, of deciding. Perhapse some would choose who they think can do a good job, but many have no clue how others would fair at GM and would therefore make something else their criteria (popularity). (Of course I also dislike democracy in general), let HK and his team choose who they want. Also no objections to LVN (As long as he doesn't do the linear tech system :/). On the matter of map maker, as long as LVN intends to customize the boarders to fit our claims (as he said he would), him as map maker is fine. I wouldn't mind having vince as map maker though.
