Slamming the door and putting on a seat belt, he said only one phrase. "Step on it."---------------------- Her eyes widened at the sound of the click. Her weapon was NOT empty...as the blast testified to when she pulled the trigger, aiming at the thing she'd been hiding against. She looked wildly around to see if there were any other thieves in sight... The driver did step on the accelerator and turned on the nitro boosters. ---------------------------------------- The result? A shotgun armed gangster was sent flying into pile of rubble from the officer's shotgun impact, screaming shortly before being silent. However, there was another gangster nearby that noticed the shotgun blast and the officer. "Enjoy!" giggled the gangster as he activated his flamethrower, sending a stream of flames toward the direction of the Promised Land officer. However, the flamethrower ignited a wreaked police car's damaged nitro gas tank, sending it flying into the flamethrower armed gangster and killed him. OOC: Note, there are wreaked cars all over the place, and parts of the car pile up are covered by the police/ --------------------------------- IC: One of the gangsters armed with one of those devastating dual automatic shotguns, noticing the foreign soldiers, hid behind a burnt out car as an attempt to ambush the soldiers. He started sprinting between cars, and didn't notice the double-barrels aimed for him. As he heard the shot it barely grazed his head, but he managed to fire of one shot in his direction before he was killed. "Gang member! Burnt car, shoot him!" A squad opened fire on him, hoping to kill him before he could close in and return fire. OOC: For the record, these guys are meant to look intimidating. They're not dressed like the normal army. The gang member armed with the shotgun shifted position as another gang member armed with a rocket launcher moved in. The gangster was holding his rocket launcher backward while firing, wiping out one of his buddies. Meanwhile, several, random explosions erupted in the car pileup, caused by the wreaked cars' fuel tanks, police cars' nitro tanks, and ammo that were ignited. The explosions damaged the elevated highway's support beams, enough to cause the section of the highway where the fighting is located on to sag. All of the police radios yelled, "GO GO GO! HHAYD Posted April 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) The gangsters were quite stupid, they sat around and raked up cheap kills by shooting the fleeing officers, not realizing a large chunk of the elevated highway below them was going to collapse. Meanwhile, the police force moved toward a more stable part of the elevated highway. Loud noises shattered the air as the remaining highway support beams snap into pieces and the gangsters were screaming while trying to get away. An entire section of 30 meters of the highway fell down, onto eight train tracks... "Did you contact the transportation department that the Michigan 34th train line is blocked?" asked the police chief. "Yes, but..." replied the police commander as a sharp noise filled the air. Yep, it was a freight train loaded with filled gas containers, speeding toward the collapsed elevated highway section at 60 mph. "We are so screwed now." groaned the police chief as he face palmed. One of the police commanders shouted, "You are safe now, no need to continue running!" ---------------------------------- Meanwhile... One of the surviving gangsters cheered, "YAY! I AM ALIVE!" And the good news, the explosion wasn't enough to be a threat for the officers, however, it was a disaster for the gangsters. "Okay everyone, we are going to get off this highway and try to rescue any surviving gang members below this highway. I suppose they learned their lesson the hard way." ordered the police chief. The police chief noticed the Promised Land officer with a bloody arm, and then spoke in his radio, "Requesting an ambulance on Highway 34, right next to Michigan 34th train line toward the south side." ------------------------------ At the train wreak site: One of the gang members, who was unharmed during the explosion, was listening to his iPod that was playing the song, "I believe I can survive." But the issue was, a traffic cone was sent flying due to the explosion, and smashed into the gangster's head, instantly slicing the head off... Suddenly, she did feel the pain in her arm, a moment before the shock hit her. The weapon in her hand fell from her limp fingers, accidentally discharging a single round. She staggered before her vision began to fade, and the last thing she saw was the pavement seemingly rising to meet her face. OOC: No, she didn't die, just blacked out.
