Gebiv
"For those of you who have been wondering on our foreign policy, I'm here to clearly explain it. "All waters are closed to citizens of nations who are not our treatied allies. However, they may apply for a water passage card through the department in charge of the waters they'd like to pass through. Military ships may be sunk if they refuse to identify themselves. Intruders will be ask to leave the way they came. Second-time offenders will be fined. "Civilian and Military flights from non-allied nations may not use Gebivian Airspace without first being approved. Unless under emergency circumstances, the airport from which the plane departed will be fined. Military flights may be intercepted if they do not respond to transmissions informing them they are in unauthorized airspace. "Gebiv is open to treaties with any nation, but prefers to only sign treaties with their geographic neighbors. We also have a policy trying to avoid signing treaties with nations our allies are known to have a dispute with. "No nation should expect aid from Gebiv unless and aid agreement has been reached previously or they have assisted us in rebuilding Gebiv City. "We reserve the right to deport all citizens of foreign nations at any time. "That is all."
Sarah Tintagyl
Excellency, Our nations once had a treaty signed between our peoples. I am curious to ask whether this treaty is still in effect or if it has been canceled due to the re-establishment of your state. If this is not the case we would like to sign a treaty of economic cooperation, I understand that we are no longer neighbors but we wish to remain close friends even on the other side of the world. Please let us know what your thoughts are on this proposal. Sarah Tintagyl

However, given your inclinations towards peace and the generally positive view of your nation, we would like to sign such a treaty."
Subtleknifewielder
Promised Land will, of course, respect Gebiv's wishes in these matters. OOC: Shouldn;t be too hard, as I don;t send much traffic up there...

USNA
Our nation would like to ask whether we could have an arrangement for the use of Gebivian air and sea space for both military and civilian vessels, although we will settle for just civilians if you do not wish to grant our navy passage. We do remember we came to an agreement some time ago with Gebiv. Our nations have never had problems or quarrels with each other. We hope that we can conclude this matter in the best interests of both our nations. Secretary of State, Colon Powers
Mergerberger II
We believe that positive relations with the new Gebivian government, including the peaceful transfer of Corsica to them, should entail military and commercial access to Gebivian waters in the Mediterranean Sea. We believe the new Gebivian Foreign Policy will do great things for them.
Justinian the Mighty
Slavorussia will respect Gebiv's right to do this once we're sure what Gebiv's territorial waters include. If Gebiv proposed territorial waters include the passage between mainland Gebiv and Sardinia then we foresee a bit of a problem.

Justinian the Mighty
Are you aware closing that passage would divert all outgoing Mediterranean trade farther north into a narrower passage, or do you just not care?

Justinian the Mighty
We are aware. If any nation (meaning most) needs to use the waters, applications are open for passes. Some Mediterranean traders wouldnt find this method very secure. Gebiv could revoke the passes whenever they want. We request Gebiv recognize at least a 10km corridor between Sardinia and Africa that is open to international trade.
Gebiv
Some Mediterranean traders wouldnt find this method very secure. Gebiv could revoke the passes whenever they want. We request Gebiv recognize at least a 10km corridor between Sardinia and Africa that is open to international trade. That route is very close to strategic Gebivian cities, no matter where it is placed. However, we will look into creating such a corridor.
