Imperator Azenquor
***11:11am, City of Sofia, Zapadnaya*** After years of absolute silence and isolation in which Zapadnaya neither communicated nor interacted with the outside world, there would be a sudden and unexpected international broadcast. An elderly man in a suit would appear in front of a large podium, flanked by two flags on either side. After hurriedly re-arranging a number of notecards before him, the man would launch into a short speech: “Hello nations of the world! Can you see me? Can you hear me? This is quite remarkable isn’t it? This is the first international broadcast from Zapadnaya in decades! Greetings. I am Vladimir Bogomolov, President of Zapadnaya and Chairman of the Executive Council of the State Law and Order Restoration and General Pacification and National Development Council. In the past few months, the Government of Zapadnaya has done away with the isolationist policies of our predecessors in favor of constructive and mutually beneficial contact with the other nations of the world. We seek to once again join the international community of nations and to work together in partnership for the betterment of all mankind. On behalf of the people of Zapadnaya, I would like to invite nations that wish to do so, to contact us.” Edited May 24, 2014 by Imperator Azenquor
