Nick Olson Posted August 24, 2012 Report Share Posted August 24, 2012 [b]What I would like in an Alliance :[/b] ~Easy to Join, I want a fast, easy join process, without the hassle of exams. ~Protection from attacks, I want to be able to grow in peace. ~Friendly, and active nations. ~Peaceful, I don't want an alliance that wants to go to war. ~Experienced nations to rely on for nation growth advice. [b]My Experience :[/b] ~I used to play, and still know how. ~I've been in several alliances, never been in gov'n position. ~I tend to be active. [b]Why I left my old Nation :[/b] ~I was in an war hungry alliance (This is why I want a peaceful alliance), they started a war, I didn't want to be part of it so I switched to peacemode. The war dragged on and in peacemode, taxes fell, couldn't pay bills, went into debt. If I tried to leave, I couldn't switch back to warmode for taxes, because as a "traitor" I would be atacked by my old alliance. So, I just deleted my nation, and avoided the game for a while. ~I'm not going to name the alliance that caused my leave, I don't want to risk them attacking me. GPA WTF Pax Corvus TDO suggest you look them up at the CN wiki and decide which is best for you http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Just realise though that no matter where you go and no matter how neutral you are war is something you one day may have to face. [i]exhibit A:[/i] http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Continuum-GPA_War Probably worth sitting down and realising that if you join a community for protection that by default you are part of that mechanism of protection and may be required to ride to war at some stage. If you cant get your head around that idea its probably best you stay without an alliance and sit in peace mode forever. The thing about a neutral alliance however is your looking at next to no chance of them starting a war at least. Its not 100% guaranteed as there are always rogues and [i]rogue like[/i] AA's out there but its a good way toward avoiding war in CN. Good luck. We're a smaller alliance, with around 40 members, so we're close knit, with a great community. 2. We don't do exams. I mentor you personally, and if I see you're doing all the right things, we funnel $15 mil to you to boost even more growth. I hook you up with $3mil for 50 tech deals with GOP buyers, and I'll help you into a stable trade ring. 3. We may be small, but take a look at our average NS. We house some of the biggest guys in the game, so there's a lot of experience in our ranks. 4. We have great guides to help you at all stages of your nation's growth. 5. Yes, we're neutral, but we take our defense very seriously - perhaps more seriously than any other neutral. We're not one of those neutrals who tell you to sacrifice your defense for a few bucks. That's what peace mode is for. [i]Dealbreakers?[/i] 1. We're real life conservatives and we discuss politics. If you're liberal, or that's not for you, you might not want to join our ranks. 2. Again, we may be neutrals, and the likelihood of war may be slim at best, but that does not guarantee that we will never engage in war. We have very experienced leadership that seek diplomatic resolutions first. However, if we were attacked, you would be required to defend our alliance alongside your alliance brothers. If you are opposed to war, regardless of the situation, then you might not want to join our ranks.
