Optimistic
However, those alliances do not offer their members the freedoms that the LSF does.
Ayatollah Bromeini
While your alliance is very old, there are other equally old alliances that have achieved far more and enjoys a far greater profile than yourselves.
Depends on what you mean by 'achieved'. The LSF has been through more than most alliance its age and has probably had twice as much fun in doing so. They are trying to skip Socialism and go straight to Communism leaving the rest of the world behind to suffer virtual slavery. All good Communist know that we must unite, and forcibly spread Communism. It is the only path to true Utopia for us all. Those who do not share this vision (LSF) should be your enemy. e: Stop hoarding all the freedom for yourselves, LSF. Edited April 2, 2012 by Canik
Prodigal Moon
Because LSF is such an imperialistic, aggressive alliance.
Their foreign policy is apparently to be the personal body guard of the The International. Three times out of the last three major wars according to their Wiki, and on the winning (i.e., aggressive) side each time...coming in on an oA clause once. So while I'm sure you're happy for the support, it's not exactly a shining example of peaceful independence. Not having a strong authority within your alliance is great and all, but kind of pointless if the best you can come up with as a group is being the meatshield of an MK meatshield.
Speaking as a player who once upon a time took part in the peace negotiations which saw LSF freed from an endless stomping launched upon them by one of the forms Nordreich took in previous years, I would offer up the suggestion that the significant role played by the International in allowing the LSF the freedom to actually pick their battles might have something to do with their continued loyalty to the International in this regard. I would dare to suggest this gives LSF a more legitimate grounding for continued support of their brothers in the International than that which binds a significant portion of allies on planet bob. SR. EDIT: Also great to see you still doing your own thing LSF. ride on. Edited April 7, 2012 by Scandalous Rumour
I have no argument with their reasons for devotion to INT, only the fact that it leads them to directly support the hegemony. If they want to be just another link in the treaty web, chaining in to assist their friends without regard to the broader implications, that's fine - nearly everyone does too. But drop the pretensions. LSF as a group contributes to "revolution" about as much as GATO.

Canik
LSF wants you to be free inside your slave alliance.
