We are the world.

Please continue your delusional thinking that the world revolves around Horde and you. Every leader that had such delusion had a front-row seat in watching their country get torched off the map. You are no exception.

The Imperium wishes to send a diplomatic team to meet with the leaders of the Horde to discuss the issue of Natal. Would this be acceptable for the Horde?

Yes.

It would appear the Midwest Republic is the one deficient in history, lecturing to Athens on Coalitions and their dynamics.

It would appear you missed "Survival 101", the joint Horde-Athenian tour shall go on soon enough,
I bid you good luck, because you will be writing history, history that has already been written by fallen imperialistic empires that made one too many enemies.

Unsure of where to send any diplomatic teams in Asia and with the possible threat of immediate military action hovering just off the horizon The Imperium sent a Osprey transport helicopter to Natal itself. The Osprey was sent without any form of escort as protection was entrusted to the forces of the Horde.

After a short flight the osprey began its approach to the capital of Natal upon whioch the pilot would upon a communications channel with the Horde forces stationed there. "This is Osprey 2-1-1 to Tianxian Horde headquarters we are approaching Natal's capital with our ambassador we request landing cordinates".

Admiral Minamoto would be the official representative from the Horde to discuss the situation with the Imperium.

A large make shift command center had been setup outside of the city. Now with the marines onshore and much of the area having been moved under the control of the Horde, the transportation systems within the capital region were running reasonable well.

The diplomats would be escorted into a room to meet with the Admiral who sat waiting silently for them to speak up.

Senior ambassador John Reid had been chosen for this mission for two reasons. Firstly he was of generally high rank within the Imperial Diplomatic Service and as such he was sent to the Horde as a mark of respect and yet secondly he was still replaceable if he was killed. Entering the room with the Admiral and Fleet Commander he stopped before him with his staff behind him and then they all bowed to the two representatives before John began his speech.

"Gentlemen welcome to land of Africa, The Imperium offers you it's greetings. Now onto the matter of business. We at The Imperium have been trying to keep an eye on all of Africa always watching for threats both internal and external and yet we managed to miss the terrible situation here in Natal, now we would have preferred it if you had informed us of the dire state of Natal rather than invading this nation".

"However, this clearly did not happen but we won't let that get between us. Instead The Imperium would instead like to make the following offer. We would be perfectly willing to allow the Horde to maintain Natal as a base, colony or whatever else you wish without opposition if you allow us to establish a small embassy here in Natal's capital city. No Imperium forces would be deployed as security instead that would be left to your own forces and we would of course share any and all important information with yourselves".

"What is your decision?"

Juergen looked up quite surprised by the request, he had personally been expecting a lot more. "I see no reason why this shouldn't be possible, Ambassador Reid. If my colleague from Tianxia agrees the Athenian Federation would gladly let you have such an embassy."

Admiral Minamoto rubbed his chin before letting out a brief sigh, "We would propose actually something you may not expect. We propose the Imperium take sovereignty over all but several key ports on the coast. In exchange, we be granted a lease to administer Natal from the Imperium. The Imperium be granted both an embassy, and an advisory role in the administration of Natal. Further it allows one responsible African country at least to save face and keep nominal sovereignty in African Hands. Would this work favorably for you?"

This time it was John's turn to be surprised though he only allowed it to show for a second or two before he hid it behind a carefully placed neutral expression. "That is quite an honour you are giving us Admiral, as the representative of The Imperium I have full power to accept such an offer and as long as your Athenian comrade has no problem with the offer I humbly and gratiousally accept" he replied.

"Very well then. As of this time we accept the Horde's offer and will work with your forces and government to make this proposal work. I do suggest that an official statement be released from the Horde and Athens detailing what we intend and we shall then release one in support. Hopefully that should quiet the more vocal nations in Africa".
Public Dispatch from the Athenian Federation, the Imperium, and the Horde of Tianxia

In discussions with regional African Partners from the Imperium, we have come up with a diplomatic solution to the Natal Humanitarian Crisis. We praise the Imperium for sticking up for what it believes in, but also for being the only nation on the African Continent which was willing to constructively engage with us during this Crisis.

Terms of Sovereignty and Governance for the Natal Region

Article I. Natal shall become the territory of the Imperium. It shall be considered sovereign territory of the Imperium until such time as the Imperium ceases to be or cedes it to another nation. Should the Imperium cease to be, it shall become a protectorate of Tianxia and Athens. The Imperium may not cede sovereignty of Natal to any other nation without consulting Tianxia and Athens.

Article II. The Imperium shall bestow upon Tianxia and Athens a mandate to govern Natal, but shall appoint an advisor to the Administrative Authority. This mandate shall be predicated on Tianxia and Athens maintaining and ideall improving living standards in Natal. This mandate must be cancelled with the consent of all parties. Additionally the Imperium shall be granted an embassy within Natal.

Article III. The Imperium shall recognize Athenian and Tianxia as having sovereignty over a port area of each's choosing. This area should be sufficient for significant facilities.

Article IV. This pact shall be valid through successor states of all parties stated here.
Unknown to the public

Dalian, while running from the revolutionaries, passed a newspaper store. Immediately she stopped, grabbed (the owner had already joined the Nationalist militia) a newspaper and looked at the title story, showing the Announcement. Maybe from the running, or was it something else, however, Dalian coughed, before she continued her run. "CoughStillCoughImperialismCough"

*Private Side Comments between two PRA officials reading the announcement*

After reading the following passage...

"We praise the Imperium for sticking up for what it believes in, but also for being the only nation on the African Continent which was willing to constructively engage with us during this Crisis."

And looking over recent diplomatic cables:
"We welcome the PRA to make us leave"
FOR THE HORDE!
"Hm, I guess its too bad that no nations outside of Africa within this treaty were constructive as well."
