However shoulfd you delcare yourself my enemy by actions of spying or similar I will be only to happy to respond violently. I'd like to thank Europa for their mature and sensitive suggestion for us to remain removed from the conflict. I'd also like to remind all readers of this thread how fatal enemies during WW1 managed to arrange a truce between themselves at Christmas and recommend that we might all do the same. White peace could involve one side surrendering, or it could just be a cessation of hostilities. It's quite possible for it to be both seperately or even combined. I can imagine there being a split in any alliance involved in a white peace between those who felt let down as they see it as giving in, while others would be happy to consider it a draw, or even a win. pip pip

The problem with private channels is how it serves to keep those who rule ruling, whether they do a good job or not. It also limits those with any real say based on the actuality to a very low number of the total players and you end up having the twenty-thousand plus players as fodder for those in command, this has become troublesome and dull. A well-informed alliance is a much more powerful and motivated alliance. If you're in a dictatorial alliance then it does fit, but a democratic one should be open and transparent to it's rank and file at least.
