    Greetings Planet Bob,

    Today is a very proud and yet very sad day for me. One year ago, my first alliance, New Horizon Network, disbanded. It was a very tough decision for us to merge into FEAR on that day, but our leader, king dog of Dracula felt it was best for the members of the alliance. I respect him for this swift decision and helping to keep my fellow allies in NHN safe. FEAR was not the place for me though, which led me to First United Council. Millhouse, a friend of mine from Allied Defense Network (a pre-merger form of NHN), offered me the position of Secretary of State after NHN disbanded. Millhouse issued a statement regarding the disbanding of NHN:

    I wish to echo Kyle’s sentiments in saying welcome and congratulations to the new members of our government. It was a sad day when NHN disbanded a year ago. I remember, the alliance I had built and was currently the President of, First United Council, watched a good friend and ally in NHN go away. I thank FEAR for looking after their new members, but I am glad that some of them came to FUC and then followed us into the United Foundation. It is because of their help that we have gotten to where we are today.

    Here is to remembering our fallen allies and pushing forward with the one’s that remain.

    It's great to have you guys join us as signatories of the Overlord's Protectorate Pact. TPF has always been a stand up alliance and also stepped up for First United Council, before UF, in their time of need. I have nothing but respect for those at TPF and always will. Once again, welcome and I look forward to getting to know you.

    I congratulate you sir. We had some run-ins in the past when you were at United Alliance and from there I just kind of observed your actions when in public, most of which, I disagreed with. I agree with those above me that no apology is necessary as you have crafted a new persona here. I wish you nothing but the best in your future on Planet Bob and welcome you to visit us at United Foundation if diplomacy is the route you take in TOOL.

    The Jay I knew over the internet connection may not have been the same Jay over in Halifax, but he was here and real to everyone.

    Jipps, you've hit the nail right on the head here... It's still very hard for me to comprehend that he's actually gone, but to me at least, he was a real person, not just some guy on the other end of an internet connection.

    Once again, we'll miss you Jay. Rest in peace. :(

    ......wow. I honestly don't know what to say. Jay was one of my better friends in this game and I loved talking with him. I know SSSW18 is strong enough to get through this very difficult situation. Your friends at UF are more than happy to assist you in any way possible. I will personally assure that.

    Thanks to everyone for the support so far. Also, thanks to everyone reading and posting in the future (Preemptive gratitude FTW)... We should be announcing our protector shortly, but I'm sure some of you savvy people already know who that is.

    Please feel free to come to our forums and set up an embassy. UF is always looking for some new friends and I look forward to working with you all.
