  1. Its doubtful we would be to let that happen, because it was not part of the original deal. You came to us and told us you owned the canal, and you gave us proof, so we're not going to contest ownership of the canal. We took a step back from our position hoping to cooperate, will you return the gesture?
  2. If what we just said is agreeable to you, then yes. Edit: I don't really see what I did there, so no.
  3. We understand your position, and we’re trying to be reasonable, but no one here seems to understand, or care about our position. Technically the canal is not ours, but the CSSR probably should have tried to stop the completion of the canal after the GNR broke up therein lies the problem. The agreement that was shown to us by the Drakorian government says: Our position can be reversed. We could recognize this as a legal and binding contract therefore we wouldn' own the canal. They can transport whatever they want through it and we couldn't and wouldn't try to stop them, but since the territory south of the canal is not included in this agreement it should be ours again. Edit: Merger, pretend I said something witty about fighting the communists.
  4. This isn’t ancient history, it’s recent history, we‘re talking about something that happened less than a year ago. Either way the fact that we claimed the region first, and we moved and took control first has not changed. If you’re trying to use the canal as a reason to invade us, we will not allow it. The Czechs seem to have an extreme error in their history books. Like we said before this is recent history, not ancient history. If we recognized the GNR as a legal entity, or their occupation of our country we wouldn’t have challenged it at every opportunity. There’s one major difference between this situation and the RA-Babylonian situation. That being that the RA wasn’t forced to give up anything, they did it out of their own free will and the kindness of their hearts. We were invaded by a group of imperialist under the guise of liberation, and we surrendered under shady circumstances, which we haven’t fully uncovered yet. Additionally if Babylon fell into anarchy, like the CSSR has, the RA would most likely annex the whole country. The argument that frankly is tired and worn “why didn‘t you protest it before” really holds no meaning to us. The fact is we’re protesting it now and we’re not going to back down. Our claim is legitimate, they claim to have shed blood for the land, but we actually have. During the CSSR’s vicious attacks, We lost more soldiers in the southern theatre than we did anywhere else. the grass is stained with the blood of Slavorussian soldiers. We’re not entirely opposed to them owning the canal, but not the land south of it, which if you don’t know holds several major cities (100,000+ citizens).
  5. ooc: I didnt realize it was for aircraft carriers, but it can be widenened. Either way now that I know what it's for... ic: We never recognized the CSSR's control over our country, or their right to sign it away to other countries. The canal goes right through our city of Rostov, right through our country, if you attempt to move our forces or enter our country we will consider it an act of war. If you dont like our earlier offer we'll pay whatever the cost to divert the canal, using whatever companies and workeforce you choose. Edit: We have suggested that, but so far we've heard nothing productive from either the FGR or Drakoria.
  6. We don't think this will be possible. We control the major cities and settlements at the mouth of the Don River (ooc: obviously part of the canal) and we’re open to negotiations, that don’t allow anyone to own our land. We offer free passage through the canal, rights to civilian administration and taxation of vessels entering the canal, and offer our protection of the canal, but foreign occupation in Slavorussia is over. ooc: basically I administer the cities and towns north and south of the canal, and the canal including any cities it goes through, but control of the canal remains yours. Edit: did you guys know there’s already a canal in the area that connects the Caspian Sea and the sea of Azov? It connects the Volga and Don Rivers appropriately named the Volga-Don Canal
  7. ooc: If you dont have a problem killing communists. Also I typed all this before the other posts from FGR and stuff, I'll get to that later. ic: General Belyakov establishes his command base in the city of Volgodonsk a city halfway between Rostov and Volgograd on the banks of the Tsimlyansk Reservoir. General Belyakov knew the city wasn’t very strategically important, but it was fairly free from communist influence, or he thought. A four story office building in the city center was commandeered by Belyakov’s troops and quickly turned into a military fortress overnight. The building was ideal for military operations, the lawn was large enough to land at least two helicopters on, making it easy to safely shuttle army officers and supplies in, or if necessary evacuate it quickly. “Where are those damn reports I asked for?!” Belyakov barks to one of his subordinates from inside his office, “I asked for them an hour ago, it’s no wonder these damn Bolshevik wannabes are kicking our asses. Lieutenant! Get in here!” Moments later a short, stout Lieutenant walks into the Belyakov’s office with what appears to be the reports he’s been screaming for. Belyakov looks at the man, then at the reports, then back at the man, then at the reports again. “Are those the battle reports I asked for, Lieutenant?” The Lieutenant nods his head yes, but doesn’t speak or move. “Well speak up man! This is the army, not a monastery. You can speak can’t ya?” The little man cracks a smile and nods again. He goes to put the reports on the Belyakov’s desk, and from seemingly nowhere a deep booming voice says “yes sir! sorry sir!” Surprised, Belyakov raises and eyebrow. “Such a big voice from a small man. Lieutenant, I want you to get this place in order. It took you an hour to get me this report, we could have commies marching here right now and I wouldn’t know it. Another thing I want you to do is get on the line and get me some tanks, to patrol the streets in Rostov city, and order artillery to the area, tell them to fire blank shells. That ought to scare the hell out of those commie rebels and we’ll be home in time for lunch tomorrow-- Oh, and get this message to Pax Pacis commanders” ***Message to Pax Pacis from General Belyakov*** I’d like your forces to flush out communist rebels north of the Don River and force them south where my forces will apprehend them. I must stress to you that communist forces are not organized military, they are mostly a civilian militia, and they will use innocent civilians as shields. I’m expecting you to take whatever steps necessary to avoid hurting or killing civilians. Good luck and good hunting, General Ivan Belyakov.
  8. Mykep did. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?s...c=62646&hl=
  9. Mykep is dead. Sarah brutally murdered him, after stealing his innocence, so Megan Fox is a widow. Edit: Lol, it was self defense.
  10. Slavorussian soldiers fan out from Azov to smaller settlements on the Don River. They capture a key strategic residential town called Elizavetinskaya with little resistance. After capturing Dugino and Kuleshovka Slavorussian forces gain complete control over the Don River’s mouth making it impossible for ships carrying communist rebels to escape into the open waters of the Sea of Azov. In downtown Rostov, Slavorussian soldiers are having trouble distinguishing communist rebels from civilians. In just 24 hours the communists have killed nearly 100 soldiers and injured dozens more. To avoid loosing control of the situation and suffering the embarrassment of a possible retreat, General Belyakov personally assumes control of all operation forces in southwestern Russia. While General Belyakov’s men rest and come up with a new strategy to take the city, the communist quietly organize and regroup. They’ve received word from Volgograd to cause enough of a disturbance to draw attention to Rostov, so that when the attack on Volgograd begins Slavorussian forces would be decimated and disgraced. ***Message from General Belyakov to Allies*** Assistance would be most useful in Rostov-on-Don, and securing cities along the border with the Ukraine protectorate.
  11. Thank you. Hopefully as time progresses the Navy Jack will fly over many more Slavorussian ships. The Vindicator, the aircraft carrier is currently on a week long patrol in the Gulf of Finland. We'd be glad to conduct some naval exercises once it returns to port. Our Foreign Minister has been kept busy trying to negotiate with the CSSR, sadly as a result we pushed relations with Bavaria to the back burner, for that I am truly sorry. Now that the issue with the CSSR is being resolved we will definitely seek a stronger relationship with Bavaria. ooc: Lol, that would have been an epic gravedig.
  12. Excitement permeated the air in St. Petersburg at the Kronshtadt Imperial Naval Base today. More than two years after the Slavorussian navy was sunk in the Gulf of Finland, the Navy celebrated the launching of five new ships. The dedication and launch ceremonies were attended by a whose who of Slavorussian government and military officials. Tsar Justinian and Premier Medvedev both broke a bottle over the bow of each ship while the Patriarch of Moscow and all Slavorussia said a brief prayer. The fleet consists of an aircraft carrier, and 4 destroyers. The Fleet expects to be expanded in the coming months as soon as more ships can be completed. Along with the expansion of the Baltic Fleet, the navy plans to commission a smaller fleet based in Rostov-on-Don, after the communist rebellion is ended. Premier Medvedev said in a speech after the launching, “Today is a giant leap forward in Slavorussia‘s national defense. I look at this country today, and I‘m truly amazed. A few months ago no one would believe that the Slavorussian state would ever exist again, but we proved those naysayer’s wrong. Not only did the great state return, it went on to unify the people, strengthen the armed forces and forge new friendships with former rivals. The resilience our nation and our people have shown in the past few months is something we should all be proud of. ” During the dedication the Prime Minister appointed Thomas Aberg, a hero of the Mariehamm War as the new Admiral of the Baltic Fleet. Admiral Aberg, formerly a commander of the Slavorussian Coastal Defense and Patrol Initiative received several decorations for his dedication to the country as well as his bloodless victory during the conflict. The Baltic fleet is scheduled to make several patrol runs in the gulf and before docking at the navy base at Kronshtadt.
  13. I’d like to help you out, but I’m too lazy to do it, and I think too many people would expect it. Plus a big chunk of my army is concentrated in the south, and I don’t want to stretch myself too thin. On a related thought, I’d help liberate Nordheim later on.
  14. After a night of riots and anarchy in Rostov the tired citizens start to disperse. Even though the city‘s jails are now filled to capacity and overflowing the local police continue making arrests. Rostov’s mayor assures the people law and order will be maintained, and those responsible for the riots will face justice. While police forces were fighting through hell in Rostov, two airborne infantry divisions were dropped in the area. One was dropped on the south side of the Don River in Bataysk, and the other was dropped just outside the town of Azov at the mouth of the Don River. Their objective was to secure the river, and stop communist rebels from escaping south into Drakoria, or into the Sea of Azov. Unbeknownst to the Slavorussians, while their force is concentrated in Rostov communist rebels in Volgograd are organizing plans to launch a long and costly insurgency movement. These well trained former CSSR army plan to unleash their fury on the Slavorussians stationed in Volgograd. When the time was right they would strike. ***message to Pax Pacis and other Slavorussian supporters/allies*** We’re tied up battling a few communist supporters. We can accommodate a small peacekeeping force in the city, and in other smaller towns north and east of here.
  15. ooc: Let's have a meeting then! Also, I'm going to rp an communist insurgency you and Kevz are welcome to help put it down. Rostov is just the beginning Volgograd/Stalingrad is were the s*** hits the fan. Communist revolutionaries in Rostov-on-Don, are not caught unawares by the Slavorussian presence. Although they’re outnumbered by loyal Slavorussian citizens, ill-equipped, and mostly untrained civilians but they are unwilling to allow the tsarist pigs to take the city. They begin to incite riots throughout the densely populated areas with great success. They do their job so well that the majority of people don’t have the slightest idea why they’re rioting. Communist forces grab whatever weapons they can find and attempt to kill as many Slavorussian soldiers as possible. They use vicious guerilla tactics, attacking from the tops of buildings, were they chip off large chunks of cement, and hurl it on to unprotected police, soldiers and even innocent civilians below. Despite the fearsome tactics the communists use, the Slavorussians continue their mission.
  16. ooc: I've given what I think are very fair options. Please don't make this difficult. I can move it, buy it, or do whatever the CSSR was supposed to do.
  17. Slavorussia’s timetable has been accelerated, but not by much. The actions of other nations in Europe proved that the CSSR had truly fallen into anarchy. Since the CSSR wasn’t going to respond before midnight, or likely ever again the mission to reintegrate southern Russia began now.. Within an hour after the announcement went out to world governments Slavorussian troops were already on their way into the CSSR. Citizens of the two most populated cities in the region were likely on the brink rioting. Slavorussian soldiers were immediately dispatched to Rostov-on-Don, and Volgograd. Together the cities had a total of 2 million Slavorussian citizens. With only 10,000 soldiers on hand in each city to keep the peace Slavorussian soldiers were severely outnumbered. Soldiers took solace in the fact that these were their families, friends and country folk they would welcome them home, and the riots would end. Throughout the region Slavorussian soldiers returned to their old bases. Some still ravaged by the advances of the CSSR’s onslaught during previous wars. Slavorussian command was quickly reestablished and the old Imperial regime was slowly but surely established. Soldiers and local police used everything short of lethal force to quell riots or protests against the CSSR’s former government. Fire fighters put out fires in record time, and paramedics rushed injured to hospitals and clinics. Several teams of military doctors and psychologists were flown in and established field hospitals for civilians who may be injured or need some kind of psychological treatment. Slavorussian government assumed that the CSSR had been attempting to brainwash the civilians or feed them psychedelic drugs, like those used in Wellington, to bend them to their will. There was no doubt their leader Yuri, would try something so vile and sinister. Slavorussian troops also moved in to secure the alleged canal that the CSSR had allowed to be build in their ill-gotten lands, most likely just to create headaches for Slavorussian officials when the inevitable reunification occurred. Nevertheless Slavorussia would stand firm in their claims to all their former territory in Russia, and not let itself be bullied from the south. ***Message to Drakoria and FGR*** We believe you are well aware this is Slavorussian territory. We will offer up to 110% monetary compensation for the canal going through our territory and sign an agreement giving you free passage through the canal or we will take on the CSSR’s responsibilities in the agreement over the canal, however the canal is inside Slavorussia, and we cannot allow your armies inside our country.
  18. ooc: show me where the canal is, otherwise this is an invasion of Slavorussia.
  19. Slavorussian troops are already approaching the canal. We realize you had an agreement with the CSSR, but the state as it once was is dead. Treaties with dead states are not recognized by the Slavorussian government. If you like we could look over the agreement you had with the CSSR and if possible take over their roll, we could pay to have it diverted, or we could buy out your shares, and discuss the possiblity of a free trade and transport agreement. However we will not allow foreign troops in Slavorussia. As for the rest of the CSSR we have no interest there, Poland and the CEU saved us from a long and costly peacekeeping engagement. ooc: Pleast read my last ic comment. All I want is my land back. That's a well known IC and OOC fact. I'm don't feel like being made the CEU's No.1 enemy.
  20. ooc: what the heck are you people doing?
  21. Someone told me Megan Fox was a man. Lol. /random
