  1. Percentages are more fair and RELATIVE than numbers Einer. That was our top what top 20%? I'm glad our top 20% can compete, but still have a lower ANS, than 100% of TPC. Compare that to the ANS of the top 20% of TPC at the time which was over 10,000. If balls were a metric system, this is a down declare and it obviously required little tiny balls to declare it. Yes I do remember the time TPC was downdeclared on because I was in TPC. I left TPC because the alliance obviously has no honor. You wanted me to re-roll and declare war on Hellas even though they thought the war was over. So while they were in recovery mode, you blitzed them starting pretty much a whole new war that went on forever. I've been in both TPC and Citadel, I know how the buddy system works. TPC and Citadel will never go to war against each other unless it is a "friendly" war where members take little damage. It's a shame, it would be a great fight to watch but TPC would rather downdeclare.
  2. No, try again. You had a MUCH higher ANS. Don't pretend like those 70 nations, who are probably not even in your war range, are a big threat. If you know anything about the previous rounds of CNT, RE has always had over a 100 nations but were terrible at fighting and would get hammered by miniscule alliances because the ANS was so low and they were inexperienced. It doesn't matter if a 10 person alliance goes to war with a 1000 person alliance if the ANS is totally off balance as it is this war. Before war: 4,269 ANS Everyone TPC downdeclared on 6,988 ANS TPC There's a 61% difference in average nation strength. If an alliance with 12 members who were on average 61% stronger than TPC nations downdeclared on TPC, not only would TPC be on this forum crying about downdeclare they would probably show their true colors and turtle.
  3. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm not turtling. It was a pretty tempting thought though. Due to real life and the craziness of CNT update time to my clock - there's no possible way I can be online at CNT update time every night. Why CNT goes off of Alabama time instead of a rotating region time is beyond me. I was anarachied at update to two much larger nations but instead of going the easy way and turtling I'd rather knock them down or at least try. Looking around, that's pretty much the strategy TPC has gone with. Using it's massive top tier to fight against upper mid to mid tier players. They had an instant advantage at blitz. The advantage TPC had going into this war was more nuclear capable nations, a MUCH stronger ANS and top tier, and almost more nukes. They incorporated this into their blitz making it a down declare. Well played and executed by TPC but still a down declare. Everyone knows that the total strength of an alliance doesn't matter much compared to the ANS (example OLD RE from previous rounds) and that while the total nation count matters more it still does not offset the advantage TPC had with a blitz, ANS, more nuke capable nations, and just simply a stronger top tier. Sure, give TPC credit but stop pretending that this was some massive up declare when in reality it's a down declare.
  4. TPC has 9 nations with nukes, everybody else has 8. The ANS is substantially different as well. Downdeclare. Oh well, here we go.
  5. Maybe there should be like a Rome University or something, a training alliance. That would be interesting.
  6. That's a confusing story. What are the stats, is this an even war?
  7. This is the best step forward in a better direction that I have seen from any alliance. Nice.
  8. With all due respect and much respect due, It doesn't matter. You don't matter to me. Why do I, and everything I've done, matter so much to you? I could try to explain but I've been doing that long enough to know the consequences. No amount of truth will set you free of your blind hatred. Anyway, The new XP system crap only encourages reckless down declares and raids while discouraging even fights. The same amount of XP can be earned against an inferior opponent as fighting an equal. This is on top of losing less in battle, gaining tech, and other benefits of down declaring. As long as cowardice is rewarded then that's what we're going to get in DOWs.
  9. I left nao and citadel. The one war I did declare has been the biggest updeclare since - Hellas nor OP have declared anything close to the updeclare when NAO went to war with War Doves. I think I know more than you think, but that's okay because I would rather be underestimated than overestimated like Hellas is round after round. I didn't know you could yell at someone on a forum, maybe you're hearing voices in your head bombuator?
  10. You're funny Einer. Every post I start or touch usually gets at least a few pages of replies and leads the cnt forum on views. I help by making the forum more interesting... bringing more interest to the game. Anyway, Clash you can't pretend that your first war on citadel was an updeclare. You forgot to mention that Citadel had been in a war like maybe 3 days before you downdeclared. Sure, on paper things looked fair but nearly everyone in citadel did not have a warchest and some nations had lost a great amount in the war. I am glad you understand that citadel is going to hit you this round, best of luck.
  11. TPC and Citadel will never go to war. They may have a practice war but that's it. Let's be honest here, war doves doesn't like war. It would be nice to see Citadel and TPC vs. Warriors, Hellas, NDO, and OP
  12. Pretty sure Citadel unofficially bears a grudge.
  13. I predict Citadel will war warriors due to last rounds many rendezvous. This whole XP thing provides more incentive for players in alliances to crush those who are not in an alliance... and war in general. TPC will get involved in a war before the 28th. If warriors and citadel do not war by the 30th I'll be surprised. What do you think will happen this round?
  14. Well looks like I'm out of an alliance. So who wants me? Positives: Good at war, spying, building, the game in general Negative: Very boisterous, but isn't this what TE needs? Whenever I get involved in a topic the views go into the thousands. Needs: Alliance must have trade circle I can join The round hasn't been good to me due to warring but if I land in a more peaceful and less targeted alliance I could be a powerhouse once again in the next round.
  15. They also blame me for spy attacks and attacked me, without any proof. If I committed half of the spying they think I committed surely I would have been caught once. I know for sure that others spy warriors on the daily and I try to keep count of visible espionage damage within my war range. I sent a friendly message to a warriors person that his 6 nukes were no longer there and he responded by declaring war on me. I'm still waiting for an apology.
  16. I think Kong was trying to convey that it was classless of Warriors to run spyops before, during, and after the war and then complain and cry that Citadel was doing it on a massive scale only during the war. When I finally did get caught spying Warrior's leader and officers sent me whiny messages which have already been posted for all to see. If you're going to spy before, during, and after wars don't cry when you get spied back. It's whatever though, I give zero focks. Citadel did not spy warriors before our war but I'm not going to deny or confirm that current operations are going on presently or in warrior's last war.
  17. Whoops. Late night mathematical gaffe. Me make gaffe. Just give everyone 50 million dollars from the start. It'd be fun to watch things build up so quickly only to watch it fall down. Get rid of all this regulation on spying too. Let the worst player in the game attempt to spy the best player and vice versa. With more money and ish we should be able to buy H bombs too. Me want to make bigger boom. The H bomb wonder can be the mythical CNT wonder that we have been talking about. Once again though, NO ENVIRONMENTAL burden.
  18. The rules need to fertilize individual growth more. I know TE is already a faster SE but if nations started with more cash and infra was cheaper then there would be bigger cars to wreck and bigger explosions. A round is what? Three months? A round should be four months long and a year should be split into four quarters. Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer round. TE is made for explosions so take the environment factor out completely. Allowing one player to have two nations would be great too
  19. Why do you think I'm mad? I don't think you understand how easily entertained I am. I live an extremely serious and uptight life so this game makes a good outlet for entertainment. Anyway, The leader of your organization, cowboy, sent me an in game message when you guys finally caught me spying during the second war. He was the one crying. You guys spied before the war occurred but when I turned the tables you got a wittle upset? I don't claim to have won both wars. As an individual, I was successful the first war and without any doubts I won against all my targets. As a whole, Citadel also won that war too. During the second war, Cowboy, Yourself, and your number 1 all targeted me at blitz. I was not as successful that war, but I held my own and still helped my alliance as much as I could through spying and all means necessary - to another alliance victory. Everyone in citadel did their part in both wars and we won. Everyone in the alliance was faced with a more organized and stronger opponent but we still found success. That is not a claim, that is a fact. That's all I'm going to say. On topic, who won this war?
  20. Already detecting 30 million dollar war chestS. Deployed and got deployed on at the same time... in anarchy.
  21. I am the minister of war for Warriors not hellas. Get it straight, I wrote your declaration of war against Citadel the first war. I almost posted your DOW for you the 2nd time but I restrained myself. I NEVER spoke for TPC. All I said was something along the lines of they could kill you if they wanted to. Which is true - they're unique people but I respect their methods. I probably still run a lot of spy ops, my spies always come down with cabin fever when warriors goes into a downdeclare or gets updeclared on. Before you go to war next time clash, have me write the DOW. I'm much more punctual than you are and I do a better job. Besides, it's not like your guys know how to blitz anyway.
  22. NO, declaring war on Citadel 5 days after Citadel was engaged in a 10 day war is not acceptable. You had 30 days or so WITHOUT WAR and you had a statistics advantage already. If that's not a downdeclare, what are you smoking? After you somehow coughed up the opportunity to demolish us, despite the fact that no one had a war chest and was still in recovery, was just the first benefit of having Cowboy as a leader. Then you launch attacks against us 9 days later and still get your bums handed to you, complaining about how unfair it is that Citadel, particularly me, espionaged you during the war. A little hypocritical considering you guys were doing prewar spyops three days before the war. Classless and hopeless warriors. Just play the game.
  23. Oh come on clash, don't be a sore loser. I know it's been a tough round for you but spare me your unproven attacks and record. I think Cowboy and your own alliance is more deserving of your attention. The state of your alliance is interesting, I like the smell of a good roasting. It's a shame that Clash let Cowboy take a sinking ship of an alliance and run it into the abyss of no return. It's kind of like the Bismark, Clash assigns an inferior captain a ship that's statistically larger and better than all others but somehow manage to sink it - at the mercy of an inferior single bi-plane and supporting staff. We can sit here and pretend that this Hellas v. Warriors war is fair... In reality, this is an up-declare by hellas and warriors is being handled well. It calls into question of what statistically is the best alliance in CNT - an alliance that has not had one successful war in what is suppose to be a war game. Winning aside, a realistic and honest leader should be able to at least admit that the first two... now three warriors wars did not go as planned or well at all. Clash and cowboy have been disillusioned by past round success and the pride is now catching up to the fall in the sweet teardrops of clash. They're comfortable with the statistics... but the question has to be asked, how flammable are those statistics behind an unproven leader in Cowboy? The stats have shown warriors to be the best in the game, they're just not the best at playing it. The number 1 should win easily win they plan two wars against number 2. The number one alliance should easily defend itself against number 6. Leadership is the problem at warriors, the incompetency in that department is the reason why warriors cannot "win" at the game... their orders and planning only lead their members into failure and they lack the skill needed to orchestrate a defense.
  24. So, you're praying he doesn't sign in and easily collect over 10 mil to play war with? You're probs right but it would just suck if you were wrong. Warriors has nothing to complain about. Most of the wars are 1v1, some 2v1 at the very top. It's hellas whose being 3v1ed more. Not a lack of execution or fight by hellas just warriors numbers. Warriors has had over 10 days to recover from the citadel war. I remember warriors declared war against a great alliance 10 days after that great alliance was at war, and warriors lost. Then they waited another 9 days, and lost again. Warriors has had the luxury of choosing it's own losing wars and they still managed to cry much about the results. If they're unable to crush an enemy whose numbers are much lower than theirs, they're going to have a hard time come end-round and cowboy's leadership should be called into question.
  25. Hit these targets harder hellas: http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=1000264 has nukes, why'd you miss him at update and he hasn't been spied yet. http://tournament.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=1000577 had a nuke until an unknown EPA recently stepped in as I was posting this message.. Although it's warriors they've chosen, still an up declare for hellas. Warriors will take a bit of damage and hopefully lose everything but it obviously shouldn't count as a real war for them.
