1. Nordisk Responses LaQueuist
You would have to speak to the companies themselves. Buying these platforms would be tantamount to ending their existence entirely as they have no other reserves that they are drilling at the present time. We wish to maintain contact with Japan and New Zealand.
Nationalist
With utmost respect, we wouldn't wish to deprive ourselves of the vital influence that these platforms could bring us. As for standardization of munitions and basing concerns, this is primarily a concern because should we do so it might cause some amount of damage to our image as an independent, powerful nation. Unless we were to be given basing rights in Nordisk's territories, it would seem as if we were allowing ourselves to be a tool for someone else's power. We would be willing to drop Japan as an ally, but our treaty with New Zealand, should they wish to maintain it when we assume power, is too vital to our trade in the Pacific to ignore.
Russia Response The Communist Forces of France are delighted that supplies and monetary support will be given, we only request that they be sent with all haste so that we might fight away the intense air-attacks being lodged against us. Carribbean Response [CLASSIFIED] The Republican Executive Council would like to officially thank the UCS for their offer of support and would like to arrange a meeting with all due haste to discuss further cooperation for the purpose of bringing more support and much needed supplies for our efforts to bring France to peace once more. We also request that military advisers be sent in order to better train the militias being brought up from the French populous, as the Regular military arm of our government cannot spare the resources.
 2. Responses For Peter LaQueuist and Nationalist do not deign to respond. Communist
I will give you the same answer I gave to the nation of Scandinavia, that to help us would be the moral and right thing to do. However, I am confident that I can speak for the whole of France when I say that I do not appreciate the language used in your passive-aggressive, imperious, condescending offer, if it could even be called an offer.
Republican
We do not require the help of the nation of California. Not only do you have nothing to offer us, we do not wish the help of one with such obvious contempt for our people as well as our nation. This having been said, should you apologize for the wording of this letter, we would accept support immediately.
Havenist
Next time you offer a nation support, do not word it as if it would be a blessing from god. No one asked California to get involved; If you do not intend to do so, do not, but do not pretend that any in France will beg your support especially when you express that the fact that is is France is a reason in and of itself not to involve yourself. Good Day Sir.
3. Responses For Lyser LaQueuist
We cannot agree to the first demand on account of these platforms being owned privately and thus not being in the control of our government, but we can agree to 3), 4), 5), and 6), with the condition that the extent of said bases would be defined by France. Two is not acceptable on account of the geopolitical castration this would cause France to suffer.
Havenist
We cannot agree to 2), 3), 5), or 6) on account of the danger that this would pose to French self-dependance and influence, but everything else is entirely acceptable.
Nationalist
We will accept only two of these terms, that which involves forming a treaty with Nordisk and that which involves breaking with Alvonia, for we do not feel it is in our best interests to be attached to said nation any longer regardless.
Communist
Yes.
Republican
The Interrim Government's executive council has reviewed these terms and we cannot find any but two acceptable, that involving the formation of a treaty with Nordisk and that involving the establishment of military bases in overseas territories of France.
4. Cloe looked out the window of what might as well have been her cell and schemed quietly. She'd been used so viciously over the last pair of years that it didn't even phase her anymore, but there was no question that escape was still heavily on her mind. Even moreso than usual if anything. Her mind had become strong from the long years of torture, her master had forced her to submit, broken her mind, made her his pet, kept her beautiful just for his use, but she had built herself back up gradually, in secret. Yes, escape was practically all she thought about. Some nights she would slip the loose bar out the window and squeeze through to walk along the little ledge just beneath, looking for some way to tell people about her suffering, to find some rescue, to escape. She had several options she knew of, though none of them were sure things in any way. Tonight would be different though.
She was standing on the little ledge, knowing she couldn't leave the grounds without being caught and punished viciously, having already tried that once. There was a shortwave radio in one of these rooms, she would just have to find it and it would be game over. She had no idea how to use a radio like that but she had to try, there had to be someone listening somewhere that she could transmit to. There had to be something. She edged along the ledge carefully, the thing only being an inch or two wide, her heels the only things that were on it. She nearly fell, catching her breath after the slip of her foot. The fall from here might - might - not be fatal, but she was sure that she wouldn't be walking away at very least if she fell off of here. She moved more carefully, opening the window to the little room from the outside. and moving in to do her business.
A transmission over Shortwave
 5. "I wouldn't be against it but I hope you understand if I can't exactly spare anything for the purpose yet." she says, sighing again and crossing herself, praying for a moment quietly, "This is a hell of a way to start a career. The worst part is that many have inherited worse and done better than I'm doing right now."
 6. Annexations Switzerland is now fully involved in all Snow Haven actions and is viewed equally by their compatriots in the Riviere.(Swiss territories 7 of 7). The Islands of the Indian Ocean now only await a central government willing to back up the gubernatorial elections that have taken place there. (Indian Ocean 7 of 7). The Channel Islands are prepared for reintegration contingent upon the victory of any side other than the Communists. ( Channel Islands 7 of 7). Miquelon and St. Pierre, members of the nation of France for upwards of a decade now, are finally being organized into their own province, a huge step forward for the representation of the islands. (Miquelon and St. Pierre 7 of 7).
 7. "There are French troops in Gibraltar, we're not worried by that right now in the slightest." Tanilee says, standing straight and sighing, "The Suez is bothersome but it's nothing to worry about in my opinion."
 8. (OOC: I direct your attention to the fact that the Foreign Legion has occupied the PATREVE region and thus there can be no Wehrmacht headquarters in Venice)
 9. French Marine Makes Move The Naval units at Calais and the Channel Islands, having discovered that the British had gone down and out of business, have landed two thousand Marines across the South coast of Britain in order to secure the other side of the channel to ensure that hostile forces don't get ahold of the incredibly strategic strait and use it to threaten France.
 10. The belligerent sexual tension between your hand and your DICK is endearing! OHHHHHH I WENT THERE!
 11. It would more likely be in Italy, whole lotta Poles down there sharpening up for round 3 in Venice.
 12. They weren't prepared and were a shit country to begin with. And why should there be? If they wanted to join a militia they'd not have left Poland.
 13. Foreign Legion Occupies PATREVE The French Foreign Legion has set up camp in the Padua-Treviso-Venice Metropolitan area, evidently setting up to occupy the area until further notice. The Commanding General of the Corps couldn't be reached but speculation is that when the Civil War ends he will return to France, but for now the Foreign Legion is remaining neutral and representing his interpretation of the overall wishes of the French state.
 14. You kidding? Refugees are profitable for everyone involved, so much stimulation of business ,such cheap labor! Or better, intellectuals! And there are no anti-Belarus militias. Most of the Poles with that inclination just join the Army anyways. Foreign Legion teaches French for free, is greatly respected ,and comes with free citizenship. Perfect for Poles with violent intent. And I'm keeping with neither confirming or denying. It might be in a factbook. No promises.
 15. Legion Clarification From the commanding general: We can confirm that until recently there were indeed a good number of troops, my entire command, within Silesia. I would request, in the future, that any matter involving French assets be addressed directly to France, and not her allies. Our movement out of the region is documented well by French News sources. (OOC just assuming that that whole thing wasn't private due to the later use of "private" tagging in later posts, if it is private feel free to disregard)
 16. 's not on irc. And I didn't get any freedom fighters, remember? Just a bunch of highly profitable civilians. :D
 17. One can think of worse things than genocide, but that doesn't make genocide any better. :p I am now, in the spirit of that statement, going to adopt Israeli nuclear policy and say that I can neither confirm nor deny your allegation. ;3 *Opresses Palestine*
 18. T'weren't you old chap. @TBM I reject your reality and substitute my own.
 19. "I understand what you're saying." she says with a sigh, pursing her lips a little, "Any help would be indispensable." she stands up straight and brushes her hair back away from her eyes, a muted explosion heard off in the distance making her flinch a little, "Another cruise missile..." she mutters, "The sooner you can get it here the better, for all of us."
 20. Nationalist
From the Emperor of France, We are of course the most logical option for the simple reason that we are the most competent. There is little to argue in that, we are pushing all of our foes back despite huge opposition, we are run better than any of our enemies, and Tanilee, the more mainstream choice, is largely considered somewhat mad. We need no more than a single push to press our victory to the furthest extent and claim the capital for ourselves, cementing ourselves as the legitimate rulers of France.
Communist
(Unaddressed) Well, what an odd question that is. Well, I suppose I could give any number of responses to that, but let me tell you the one I think will most resonate with a moral person. We are dedicated to the creation of a nation for the people, truly, not as the Soviet Union of old or worse, China. We work to produce a land where people can toil in peace, content to know that their hard work is going towards the sustenance of themselves and their neighbors, comfortably; a land free from greed or corruption where a person truly can be happy. Our opponents seek to crush us, to oppose us, to use our labor for their own, sinister purposes. They produced weapons to destroy nations for no other reason than the fact that they were inconvenient, they oppressed their own people so that they might better oppress the people of other nations by proxy, they misused the resources in their control to create a vast mechanism of evil that we now wish to halt. The question is, will you help us?
LaQueuist
From Tanilee de LaQueu, Empress of France I cannot possibly hope to come up with a good enough reason for you to join me in stabilizing France to be perfectly honest, except that as of now we are the closest to achieving it and would be the most well received by the French people. I am not above offering some form of payment to you in exchange for your assistance, but regardless of what happens, you can be assured that you would have our eternal gratitude in this matter if you were to help us end this pointless war.
Havenist
Queen Abigail of Snow Haven, We are the most moderate, level headed of anyone here I should say. I can't see any reason why we should take the heads off of any monarchs or seek a totalitarian system, monarchy or otherwise. Of course the Communists view themselves as some manner of righteous crusaders, but they're your typical Bolshevik type A. I can't imagine the damage that would be done to the European continent at large if they came to power, though it may yet be worse if the Nationalists gained control.
Republican
(Untitled) Liberty, Justice, and Democracy, that is why you should join us. Our struggle is not one of selfishness, but simply of Freedom, we simply want representation and the establishment refuses to grant it in any form. We have no choice but to seize it for ourselves, though unfortunately there are a great deal who would attempt to take advantage of the chaos for their own selfish goals.
21. Guerre de Vendée (Communist vs. LaQueuist) The Communists were rapidly being pushed back. It was a matter of manpower and support, and the Communists had none of either. They were running out of supplies, running out of warm bodies, running out of moral, land, all of the things necessary to run an effective offensive. Worse, the people had become disillusioned as they watched the CFF be overrun by Royalists and their allies, and the rumble of Hachet and B-1 Lancers overhead was near constant, and couldn't be fought. Forces from across the Atlantic bolstered the southern flank and freed up Monarchist troops to make further gains, punching through the Communists and splitting them in two, reclaiming a salient up to the Channel.
