  1. enjoy it while it lasts MHA. It won't be for long MHA
  2. If you are really gung-ho about creating a new alliance, at least do not do it alone. get some friends and do it together.
  3. How many updates are there per day in CNTE? Has it increased or is it still just 1 per day? Mods can lock this once question is answered.
  4. ahhhh....justice. Thanks for the little scare MHA. I hope that can hold you over for another few months at #6
  5. We've lost 50 nations in the last month and out score has still gone up quite a bit (even without navies). I call that great progress
  6. He's new guys. Leave him alone. Xander, the best thing you could possibly do right now is join an alliance. They can teach you how to play the game and help you grow into the best nation possible. P.S. if anybody tells you to join FAN, GOONS, \M/, Ge[N]MAY, GATO, or Golden Sabres, please ignore them. They are just trying to get you attacked (for their own sick amusement). P.S.S. Take some time to read through recruitment messages that people send you. There are many, many great alliances to choose from. Don't jump to join the first guy to offer money, most of the time that alliance will only end up being harmful to you in the long run.
  7. This is the truest statement made in this thread. Sure, you can get lots of flashy wonders and loads of cash, but if you don't know how to use it to your advantage in the long run (not in the number crunching sense) you might as well surrender. Nukes do not equal victory, knowing how to use them right does.
  8. my completely illogical suggestion: Get a new computer with a different network just to play this game.
  9. This says pretty much everything I was going to say. If you really want to prove how good you are at fighting, don't just give away your strategies on the forums. Wait until a war and kill everything that moves. Your prowess as a fighter will speak for itself.
  10. playing defense without turtling is totally possible, you just have to have good timing and a decent warchest
  11. yeah that's what I'm going for as well, except for battleships. I'm saving those for my "quick buy" before a potential war. However, there are lots of people out there that have the stats to get big ships, yet aren't quite as financially prepared or strong enough to get everything, so they are the ones who have decisions to make.
  12. now is a pretty critical time to have a guide though. 3 days into it people are running out of obvious choices to buy, and there going to have to make some interesting decisions tonight. I'm curious to see what direction people pick. Low bills, power, or just straight up usefulness.
  13. 10 imaginary dollars sais Gremlins already have one
  14. eh...what can I say. I'm proud of my money
  15. I didn't realize it was that large of a dent. For some reason I thought it was only 25% Thankfully, that only makes me like destroyers and battleships even more.
  16. If a war goes nuclear, it would actually be cheaper to maintain a full battleship force because, in tandem with your destroyers and subs, you can create and break blockades at will without having your entire Navy nuked to pieces (which would waste all of that money you spent on those other ships anyway). So really, you would be making up the high cost of maintenance by saving money from not having to re-buy everything every day.
  17. They more than likely won't give you their guides, but I'm sure everyone would be happy to answer any specific questions you may have.
  18. I believe you meant "Never got off the right track". Unless you wanted to somehow insult your own alliance
