Indeed, if you dont take any suggestions here you could do a "lotto" pick. Just search for nations with ns 20k-30k and pick one. Whatever alliance it is in is the one you join.

That would be why, If you have aid your sitting on you dont need banks, but if you are self dependent then you need stadiums/banks.

Also after the factories, depending on how much tech you plan on selling going for a university or 2 may be in your best interest. Factories asap though.

Depends... at the moment Lumber/iron/fish/wheat are the most valuable to me Anyway all of the above are good, marble and cattle too

lol thats the same resource build I have... but my 2 starting resources were oil and gold so I kinda got shafted.

Most important is getting those pop % increase, then reducing infra upkeep %. For the most part bonus resources are crappy compared to the original ones. I went with the 8 build (replacing any open spots with wheat, fish and the sort) because I was selling tech. That and I have gold/oil. BTW I dont care who you are... I want Iron and Marble, even if its just a temp trade.

but if you have the defencive improvement then you really only take 1.25 more nukes. Also although I can see why it is better to just get in the top 5% then to buy the improvement there are 2 points. 1. being able to buy nukes a lot sooner after you get ZIed 2. as more and more people join Cyber nations it gets harder to reach 5%, give it some time and this wonder will be worth more and more.
