2. OOC: I would join as your succeeding nation, if you want.
 3. Please mark Singapore as "Shonan (Koryo)", and add the South China Sea Islands as mine. Thanks!
 4. I originally had calculuated resource multipliers (see the following for what I had in mind), but after running numbers over and over, I decided to wipe out resource multipliers. Too much work on my side. Original Plan Construction: 1.045 Asphalt: 1.06 Uranium: 1.035 Affluent Population: 1.075
I don't think economics is realistic in CN RP. If say someone gets ZIed by still has the wonders for a space program, social security, super highways, universal health care, a weapons research complex, pentagon, strategic defense initiative, etc. realistically they would not be able to afford all this stuff, but they would still have it in game.
This is more for myself (as I said, wanted to do credit rating RPs) and for others who may want to RP economics. I'm not forcing anyone to follow this or make this a rule. With a different opinion for everyone, and the complexities of international economics, it would be stupid to try and install a set rule.
 5. I've wanted to RP a credit rating company, and so had been thinking of various ways to compare countries. After some thought, here is what I've come up with: Base: (Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day) x Citizens x 36500 x Tech Multiplier Tech Multiplier: 1 + (Tech/10,000) If anyone wants to be part of the credit rating statistics, please post your Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day x Citizens. This is only for those that want to join, so feel free to comment. Thanks!

But there probably are at least some Chinese, Malays, and some oceanic ex-pats. Just be reasonable with its make up before you start 'dealing with them'.
Being done here.
 9.
The place was re-constructed, and repopulated. That's the way I understood the situation. As for bias, it would be more inconsistency than bias, I don't have anything against anyone involved and I don't care either way if the islands are auctioned off or handed over to someone else. OOC I don't care if you want to repopulate it with Mexicans, or people from west Africa, all I'm asking is that there should be some actual RP of this process taking place. Not 'loltheyallmoved'. I'm not saying you have to write page sand pages or RP, just actually RP something. That being said I would make the same ruling in future instances.
Well, I will be RPing what I do with Shonan (former Singapore), so don't worry about me. Does this mean I don't have to completely follow this post, since Triyun isn't the owner of the land, etc?
 10. The troops that had started from Dalian made a short stop around the South China Sea Islands to put basic troops, and landed on Shonan. The total numbber was 15,000 troops and 50 tanks. This would be enough to keep this secure. Soon the first administrators arrived by plane and started surveying the new territory. There were a few Hakka Chinese and Malays (around 1,000), but overall it was the same as what Merida had said. The first 500,000 Japanese from Hainan would be moved soon. While the total number of residents had not been decided yet, the city would be international in the sense it would be more open than the Koryo mainland, but it will still be mostly Japanese. There needed to be somewhere to settle the new citizens, and the mainland was out of question, given the sentiments towards the Japanese. The Shonan Administration will be comprised of the former island of Singapore and the South China Sea Islands, which will be named Sansha (三沙, Korean Samsa). It has not been decided whether to admit the territory as a full state or a special region, but that would be decided when all the people had been settled. Preliminary studies were being conducted to find the most suitable area for naval bases. both for Koryo's future navy and for the USC navy. Any infrastructure jobs within the territory will be done by only Koryo or USC companies for the time being. -Classified to United States of China- As we have promised, the United States of China shall be allowed to have a naval base. We have selected Tuas Naval Base as the southernmost port of the USC Navy. We hope you are satisfied
"What is the status of non-Chinese, non-Korean people resident in Singapore?" - GNN
"Assuming there are any non-Japanese/Korean/Chinese who did not leave the island, they will be under the jurisdiction of Koryo until their status is finalized."
 11.
That is true, and it is bad RP. Entire populations don't just pick up and move, not without someone to force them out, and there is the issue of where they go to. Magic wiping them does also seems like a form of godmoding, albeit it has been tolerated in the past. It seems like a way to do something highly controversial, such as ethnically cleanse an area, without any form of legitimate IC recourse to local nations. I've always personally been one to say that people should be at least try to be realistic and stick to continuity. I would say that unless the person controlling the territory provides a better explanation for why they moved, and where they went, that RPers can assume that the population is still present. People don't just voluntarily leave a full metropolitan area because some wealthy foreign nation wants to auction off the territory to the highest bidder.
As the current owner of the island, I challenge this decision. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=88979&view=findpost&p=2372662 The last owner of the island state there were a few tens of thousands. This is an easily movable population when one considers how small Tessa's nation is right now. So, if Tessa said a few tens of thousands moved, they moved. Another fact I wish to argue is how now we're forcing players to RP what happened in the past. I myself am a follower of continuity, and will continue as such. However, with several instances of massive changes in population that has happened without batting an eyelash (like my northern neighbor who hasa 20% Finnish population, something that would never have been accepted by neighboring countries), I find this sudden change in direction to be quite biased. So, under the reasoning that the previous owner had already depopulated Singapore to the point of tens of thousands, not millions as many non-owners wish to argue, and the reasoning that we cannot now selectively forces others to RP previous history after all the things that has happened, I challenge the ruling.
See the singapore situation as a whole, kankou, Szent, Girltopia and the rest. The whole swapping of land in that area should be retconned for the pure idiocy of all the complete lack of RP involved, but thats just my two cents.
Don't blame me. Szent Korona suddenly contacted me and said he needed stuff done within an hour. I didn't have time to write out a full story out of it.
 12. 照南. That was what the former owners (if they could be called owners given their very short hold) named the area that was once called Singapore. Koryo had suddently acquired this land, along with its various problems, most of them international in nature. For now, it would retain the Japanese version of the name until the final decision was made. The Chinese had landed with agreement if the governmen. 8000 Troops, 80 Amphibious Armored Vehicles would be the initial force for establishing order, and a defensive perimeter at sea and in the air was forced. Security-wise, there was no real problem for now until the Koryo forces arrived. The main thing was to fill this area with people. Merida said it was empty, and confirmation showed it was indeed empty. This would mean everything was a clean slate. It was decided that the Japanese in Hainan, whose status are unclear (although Neo Tokyo/Japan declared they were citizens of Koryo), would be moved to Shonan as the first civilians. Since they did speak a Buyeo langauage (Japanese), actually giving them citizenship wouldn't be a problem. It would be after the Japanese were settled that immigration matters will be decided upon. For now, it wsa decided that all Koryo immigration laws would be applied.
 13. Koryo thanks Merida for its reply. OOC: People, Tessa said she wants to be left alone, so leave her alone. Let's respect her wishes and her RPs. If anyone else bothers you, PM me Tessa. I'll take care of it.
 14. Koryo recognizes the military situation in Singapore and starts sending administrators there.
 15. The sudden and rash actions of Neo Tokyo/Japan has left Singapore as a vacuum. Koryo wishes to ask exactly what state Singapore was in before the auction had happened, for there has been accusations of ethnic cleansing. Koryo wishes to fully investigate the situation to decide its actions.
 16. -Notification to the World- Koryo has always supported national unity, and with the sudden acquisiation of oversea territories, some of which has a Chinese majority, we shall be allowing the United States of China to fully retake what is traditionally part of the Chinese homeland. With this said, Haina shall automatically be part of the United States of China. -Classified to China- This sudden happening has caught us off guard. Since we do not have any forces down there, we ask China to help us in securing the area. A military base in Singapore and gas rights in the Islands will be given as part of compensations.
 17. Koryo acknowledges this. -Military actions- Some of the troops in Dalian got aboard one transport and started heading toward the South China Sea.
 18. "We'll accept it then." What just happened was unexpected, but Koryo had to make the most of it, didn't it?
 19. Whoever this "General" was, he was immediately arrested and detained for not having a visa. His request caught the attention of the police, and it was reported to Chairman Chang. "New Tokyo? Why do those Japs want to go through us?" Chang went to the jail where the General was held and gave him a slip of paper. "Why."

Your offer for protection is quite unneeded, and nowhere was it implied that the Malay Federation plans to conquer Merida, as you imply.
Koryo condemns the Malay Federation for instinctively thinking a country is racist against the natives. We recognize your wish for reclaiming lost land, but know what the other side is like before saying anything. Koryo offers Merida its protection against the Malay Federation.
