5. OOC: Sorry for posting more than one topic--this is the topic to post embassies in. I have messaged a mod and the other two will be deleted/locked.

Any nations who wish to have an embassy in the Alliance may do so by filling out this application. Nation: Location: Head(s) of State/Rulers: Ambassador: Will you allow us to send an ambassador?: Type of Government: National Religion (if any): Do you wish to have diplomatic relations with Isara?: Special Requests:
 7. Juanito, what kind of foreign policy will you implement upon your election?
 8.
Sorry for not being more clear. We refer not to the students themselves, but the curriculum. Are there any aspects of the curriculum that receive special emphasis?
Ah, apologies. Studies such as science and mathematics commonly take priority over the study of language and history...though, of course, we make sure the latter are taught as best as possible. In Isara, science and mathematics are considered some of the most important aspects in life, even children know this.
 9.
"If you have famines and power failures, how can you even go to war? What I mean is, do you believe your culture is better than other cultures around the world?"
Of course not. There is no such thing as a culture being better than another.
 10.
"Who said anything about aiding a nation one hates? One can hate a nation and support their policies. Otherwise you are a hypocrite. No one is forced to war, unless they are defending their territory. What are your thoughts on cultural superiority in national policy?"
When we mentioned certain conditions concerning supporting a nation, you called us hypocritical. That is what we meant. And if you have famines and power failures occuring due to a lack of resources, sometimes war is the only option to gain these resources. Elabourate, please, we're not sure what you mean.
 11.
"Why be a hypocrite if someone were to follow the same policies as you? What if everyone around you refuses to give you any resources? Why war them at all over resources you need? Don't you think such statements as you have stated earlier would increase tension in the region? If not, then why even mention war? As to the matter of war, would you aid an ally in a losing war?"
...So you are saying, you would aid the nation you absolutely hate, you simply cannot stand, in a war waged over reasons you would agree with? Don't dodge the question, as much as I hate to reply to a question with a question. If everyone refuses to give us resources, and it is causing great problems for us, would you not say that they have forced us into war? And we would aid a losing ally in a war, as it is dishonourable to betray one's ally, regardless of their chances.
 12.
"You stated you would attack another nation if you knew you could win and if you needed the land/resources. Then you said you planned on becoming larger in size, hopefully through peaceful means. How is that not a massive contradiction in your own policy? Why would you have a policy and not support others when they enact the same policy you hold?"
The situation in which we would desperately need resources and land is very unlikely, and war would be the last resort. We would, as we said, prefer to achieve these through peaceful means. That is not a massive contradiction. And as said, we would not support our hated enemies if they were to go to war for such a reason. We would, however, aid an ally if they requested our aid.
 13.
"So, you would go to war for those reasons, yet not support others for the same exact reasons you have stated?"
It was already stated we wish to grow larger through peaceful means. That said, suppose your nation is known of its love for democracy and the freedom of the people, et cetera. A nation notorious for its violent oppression of the people has attacked a nation for reasons you do not disagree with. Would you aid them? That is what we mean. Similarly, a nation you absolutely hate goes to war for reasons you agree with. Do you aid them? That is what we mean.
 14.
Pacifica will keep this policy position of yours in mind.
Given Pacifica's location, you have nothing to fear. And either way, we are unlikely to pursue such goals by military means. ***Private*** Given our comparative strength, no one has much to fear from us...
"Would you support other nations following the same policy?"
It depends on that nation's government policies, our relationship with them, etc...
Are there any educational subjects that receive special attention, or are all subjects given equal consideration in your curriculum?
People who show greater promise in Junior and Senior high schools will also have their university or college tuition paid by the government. Besides that, yes, everyone is completely equal in this curriculum.
 15. Juanito, what kind of government will you implement upon your election?
 16. ***Private*** "Hey, this is pretty interesting" Andrei Alexeivich commented. "Why haven't we started broadcasting epicly incorrect propaganda to other people's nations?" "Because we aren't nearly powerful enough to be doing that kind of thing," Gregor Eivanov replied. "Though it makes for a nice thing to listen to, doesn't it?" ***Public*** The Isara Alliance watches with mild interest at these events.
 17. Does United Isocoles have an epic national anthem? We do like good music.
 18. Irina spoke with the chef for a moment, and then turned back to Janko. "We would be grateful if we were allowed to purchase some of BlitzKrieg's weapons and vehicles, and analyze them to aid in our own growing military industry. As for an MDP, I believe that, yes, such a treaty may be beneficial for our nations, given the close proximity of our nations and larger, more powerful nations."
 19.
We are not named after a triangle. :/ Might we ask, what are your terms for attacking another nation? Do you plan on becoming larger in land size?
We would probably only attack another nation if we needed land and resources, and if we knew we could win the war. We do plan to become larger in size, hopefully through peaceful means.
 20.
"What is the current standard of education in the Alliance?"
We consider the education of our citizens to be of the highest priority, and put much money into the quality of the education. Education is paid for completely until Senior High School by the government.
 21. What is your opinion of the Isaran government and its policies?
 22.
What are your views of the bloody civil war occurring in Marscurian Pakistan? Also, are you worried about security issues seeing as the majority of the major mountain passes lie in territory held by the rebel forces?
We have heard little of a civil war in Marscurian Pakistan. Furthermore, it is doubtful your rebel forces would have any reason to spill into Isara.
 23.
* What are your views on Japan? * What is your focus as far as foreign affairs go? * What is your policy on nuclear weaponry?
1) Given that we have had little contact, and we have seen little of Japan's governmental actions, we have yet to formulate an opinion of Japan. 2) Our current focus is on building up regional diplomacy, though we are also open to more distant relations. 3) We consider the use of nuclear weaponry to be cowardly unless it is extremely necessary.
 24.
"1. Yes, please. 4. I agree, there's no reason to invade such a young nation. I take it you're not paranoid about the big powers and the triangular [s]creeps[/s] people?"
Well, we are very...on guard. In fact, our military is designed to be prepared to mobilize on the drop of a coin. As for the Triangular People...we feel no threat from them, as they are not much more powerful than us.
 25.
"1. What is your nation's definition of drugs? 2. Mkay. 3. Quite. 4. I mean that you're a small nation stuck between two larger nations, a similar-sized nation, and some nation named after a type of triangle."
1. We have an extensive list...shall we provide a copy? 4. We do prefer to think that there really is no point in attacking us, though our analysts are constantly searching for such a reason. As for a nation named after a triangle...if reports are to be believed, their chief religious figure is also named after a triangle.
