    We are not forcing our ally NG to stay, this has been said in the thread by NG posters, the situation you mentioned was a group surrender, this time it is different and it is something that does not sit well with Nordreichers. I have no idea in which direction it will go, we will just have to wait and see.

    I would be surprised if you said anything different. Like a good politician, but still the battle reports show MW doing far worse than others of your allies. Lack of coordination, I had one guy declare on me in the middle of the day, without either bothering to muscle up or attack. I admit I had difficulty with the two other opponents (who declared a couple of days before him), they fought both well and with co-ordination (I would expect nothing less from VE), but you chap botched most of his attacks and even when I had no nukes for the last two days (after the VE guys were out) he still managed to perform badly. As to keeping our allies in the conflict, if they wanted to make a separate peace, like TLR did, that is their decision. I am sure our government would never force an ally to stay in, that would neither be productive or helpful. But know this, if our government decides to tell us to fight on, we will, it is what we do, it is what defines us. The nations left in NoR are old school fighters and fully committed to seeing this through I keep hearing about how futile it is, how we cannot win against such overwhelming odds. Well(ooc) The Scots fought the English for nearly 1,000 years, losing most of their battles but never the ultimate war. The N Vietnamese were told they had no chance against the might of the USA, that ended well for the USA. In my own military experience I have seen what a poorly armed, trained and equipped force, fully committed to its cause can do to a massive force(/ooc). Fact is, if NoR did go down that road, of course against complete alliances we could not win. We would in such a scenario, not be looking to win, we could not, but then in the long term neither would our targets either, it would simply be a war of attrition. Of all the people in here, you have no cause to talk. You yourself have the alliances more problems than anyone else I know. Also if your opinion is against NoR, with you history of catastrophic judgement and changing your colours to suit yourself means the sum total of zero.

    Who knows what will happen, it is a decision to be taken by our Government, but of one thing I am sure, it will be honourable and will take the interests of NG into account as well. But, interesting to see the only option you see is the Surrender of both alliances.

    For you it is, but I am sure when you are faced with admitting defeat or having to surrender you will sing a different tune Surrendering is far more than admitting defeat it means you are subjugated and have submitted yourself to the will of another power, so yes it does mean an awful lot more to victor and conquered. To put it into perspective, here is how the Oxford dictionary defines it; Defeat: win a victory over (someone) in a battle or other contest; overcome or beat. Surrender; stop resisting to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority. Only if they wish to pave the way to further conflicts, especially if the terms are designed to humiliate. Sensible alliances try to build bridges to avoid future conflict. But hey, you are entitled to your opinion This I had to laugh at, you are digging up history on this one. Especially considering the greater number of NoR members who did it have either left the game or the alliance (some are now even fighting on your side of the fence). Sometimes though, the truth hurts. From the battle reports I have seen, MW members have not performed well on a 1:1 basis, which usually bounces back on the MoW and organisation of that alliance. That I know of, in this conflict, most if not all NoR members have treated their enemies with respect. In fact there are standing orders telling them to do so. Still if I, for example say that a person or an alliance is not fighting well against us, and the figures show they are not, then that is not disrespect, it is a fact. Perhaps, perhaps not. That all depends on how things go from here.

    Not being in TLR, I would not know their reasons, other than they did the best thing for their own alliance. As I have said before, I am sure when the time comes the Government of NoR will make the decisions which are best for our alliance. In the meantime, I am a soldier, and will fight until ordered to stop

    I have to be honest here, the reason for my response was due to the fact that he basically inferred I was too stupid to understand how queue (or to use the proper term Quote) is used, when the poster himself exhibited a lack of knowledge of the English language. Oh yes, I myself was not exactly sober when i did my Quote, a long business trip and a few (too many) good Germany beers did not help. Perhaps the lesson was one of, do not deride the education or intelligence of another, when you yourself are far from perfect.

    Absolutely crushed. If we were we would already have been forced to surrender. This has become a war of attrition, we have the resolve to continue if we must. From what I have been seeing from the messages many opponents have been sending our people, Many individuals in your coalition do not have that resolve. Certain alliances (not yours) also seem rather inadequate in the pursuit of war.. Before the usual wise-cracks about everyone hiding in peace mode. Call it what you will, we call it re-equipping and re arming for the next round. We are resolved to fight on until our leadership says it is time to call it a day, until then business as usual.

    Firstly, our Government did not start that story, neither did I mention or say never. I was not in the alliance when the incident occurred so i am in no way qualified and therefore would not comment on it. Secondly, if it irks you shut up and wait for the Gov of NoR to make a statement, instead of grasping the every word of a foot soldier who is not privy to that kind of information in the first place.

    No, just his view, views vary in this, just as every other alliance. As he is not Government (nor I, for that matter), it remains to be seen how things will go. My own opinion, I have only recently come to NoR, but for me, I would rather be in an alliance which is prepared to stand by an ally to the bitter end, than in one of those that abandon allies in their hour of need.

    Which is exactly the same policy they pursue in NoR. Something, with my background to which I wholly agree. This is a game with no place for extremists of any political, religious or ethnic bias. Well, I have to say, there were remarks from both sides. Sadly, no matter which alliance you are in, you are always going to have uninformed individuals either talking about things they do not comprehend, or those that cam only make stupid statements. From what I can gather, the folks at war are having fun. Pixels are just that, pixels. Perhaps a time will come when it is on the table, not for me to decide or talk about, as I am not in a position for leadership That, I am afraid works both ways. My mother was a Prussian German, my father a highlander Scot. So I had a paternal side which fought the National Socialist regime. My mother's side were split with those fighting for and others who fought against (paying the ultimate price). Frankly there are too many children in this game using tags like Fascist, Communist and 'Nazi' without having any understand what it means. Either way, good post, nice to see someone who can use a reasoned argument for a change.

    Actually I have only been with them for a short period, I am came because I wanted a fight. I do not take offence, they might have the right wing imagery, but DoD took the Right Wingers. As to the queue quote, yes at 53 I may not be able to use it properly. But unlike you I can spell and understand English grammar (not bad for a Prussian/Scot) - rightwing imaginery should be right-wing imagery, Sciencist is Scientist (might want to look up que, to find the proper spelling as well). So I will keep my ability to use a spell check, a sound education and knowledge of the English language over your use of queue quote any day. (ooc) By the way, I served 16 years in the RL British Military Intelligence Services, so unlike you I am not some pimply couch-spud and armchair warrior, whose love life revolves around the five-fingered-widow. So get a life (/ooc)
