Well said. Much along the lines I had used to argue it before the merger: LOSS always prided itself for having the "Old Guard". Guys who joined in 06/07, who went though the Pink Era, and forced neutrality. Guys who still kinda distrust NPO, simply because of those early days. Over time a lot of them would go inactive. Some are simply around to collect taxes at day 20 and fight in the wars. I was one of those. Others missed the 25 day grace period because of RL, and have been deleted over the years. But anytime LOSS needed serious help, it was like the awakening of the Titans. Two, Three, maybe even Five would ALL get active together, try to right the ship, and eventually pass on the democratic reigns to other players. Such has been our history for a long time. I don't view this period any different from those past times, only the fact that the Old Guard is so diminished and was so unaware of the ongoings that this happened.

Give it to Tywin. He needs all the help he can get.

At some point they will have elections. Of course I'm not sure if he'll be voted out. Chances are the only ones voting are those in gov (being the only actives on the forums), and since they initially gave him the position...It's not like he represented a lot of LOSSers or any X'ians currently.

Me personally, I just registered my nick for the first time in about 2 years, so I've got no logs. But Legion-X and I spoke about moving over, and as he stated, he was somewhat on the fence as to whether to make the jump. Of course I was confused, him being their MoFA and all. He was plenty active, and given that I was bombarded with almost daily merge PMs every day, I'm not sure what his issue was with coming over to SNX. I know I've had IRC conversations with LOSS government (such as it was, during the last few weeks), regarding Legion's position, and the consensus was, he's gone as far as we're concerned. Perhaps someone should ask SNX why they thought having their MoFA on a different AA almost 20 days later seemed like a proper situation.

This is the defining gem for me. I'll address it for others, but it says everything I'll ever need to know. Kicked off the LOSS AA without warning - or, you know, quite a few of them. Demasked while using forums - or, you know, you've had forums for close to a week, and any time someone posted in the last 2 days, they were called a noob and told to post on your own forums. Continued protection would require a protectorate - I suppose you can look at it that way. Or you know, given that 40% of your alliance is former LOSS members, and you were already protecting the AA...you know? Your feelings of our wants - I'm not sure there was ever a time you understood what LOSS, or people in general wanted. You proposed the revocation of the protection - Thanks man! Best thing you could have ever done to clear things up.
