While it's entertaining, most of the entries there aren't relevant and the satirical nature can confuse people, especially when a lot of the "satire" is unfunny or not actually satire at all.

Surely nothing is more true.
Hence why it is listed as satirical, and seperate from the other entries.
 2.
Not that it isn't fine the way it is, (the phrase, don't fix something if it ain't broke comes to mind), but perhaps spruce it up a bit? Divide it or something? Make it easier to pick out what you need, instead of having just a random, jumbled block of text? Just an idea, though.
Thank you for your suggestion. As you can see, it was taken under advisement.
 3. Greyed out means that option is enabled for thatr feature, and you don't have a choice about it, from what i can tell.
 4. Locked upon OP's request. next time send me a PM and it'll likely get done faster.
 5.
Congrats Californian, From what I heard a relief from onerous duties of GM is a thing to be rejoiced. So grats, Congrats Il Terra Di Agea. Though I had not voted for you, you are indeed a wise choice as a GM. Verum Vox Vocis, thanks for being a very active game mod looking over CNRP, And also congrats (just to complete a troika, )
My pleasure. And thank you.
 6. The GM that was stepping down was Californian. His replacement will be Il Terra Di Agea.
Speaking of VVV, don't worry about responding to that PM ya dig :3
Very well.
 7.
Which are shipborne, correct? I'm pretty sure the issue was lasers on anything smaller than an installation or ship... but I may be wrong.

I've always thought that rule applied to sci fi style SW laser. There ARE functioning laser weapons in testing by major powers. China has a functioning laser weapon for blinding satellites. There is no reason not to have functioning directed energy weapons so long as you can show its actually had some promising tests/ functioning. There are of course proposals, but we should require working prototypes when we create anything. Otherwise you get things like the Boeing 747 one that never ended up working all that well 9 years after they started on it and got canceled for that reason.
The rule was a blanket ban on any laser as an offensive weapon (assumptions about it being permitted in missile defenses, SDIS's, etc, and in civilian capacities was correct). However, if it can be demonstrated, with sufficient evidence, that there is a real life application, I am temporarily lifting the blanket ban. If it gets abused the blanket gets to smother this aspect of creativity again.
 8.
To make Subtle's explaination a bit simpler to understand, let's say for fun you have 500 IG citizens. You can thus field 400 RP soldiers. (500 x .8 = 400) For citizens, you would have 50,000. (500 x 100 = 50,000, obviously) Now, my math is probably wrong for the tank calculation (I'm managing to get 4k tanks) so I'll let somebody else get that. My math is probably wrong for most of this, so take this with a grain of salt unless soembody else provides real math.
citizens are x 100 soldiers are x 10 (meaning in your example he would have 4000 tanks are as is, meaning 40 in that example.
 9.
What's the cut off day for nominations?
There is no specific deadline. I will cut off nominations once I feel I have a sufficient number of suggestions, and have a good idea of what a number of players think.
 10. In case anyone missed it, King of cochin and Subtleknifewielder are correct. I asked for PM's. I will only consider those nominated via PM. As an additional note, I won't want just the name, but reasons why you are submitting this person for nomination. Self-nominations will be considered if exeptionally good reasons are given.
 11. I have been notified privately that one of the GM's intends on retiring. Please PM me suggestions for a replacement.
 12.
Hey, I think it may be a good idea to leave the FAQ up for people who stumble across this forum, so they can decipher it and all
Very well. Your suggestion has been noted and approved.

 14.
My in game stats are as follows: 4,859 Soldiers 6,415 Working Citizens So my RP stats would be: Citizens: 641,500 Soldiers: 513,200 Tanks: 51,320 Correct? Multiply my citizens by 100, 80% of that number is now my soldier count, and then 10% of my soldiers is now the number of tanks I have. Sorry, but I just want to make sure I've got it all right before I go posting any factbooks and such.
No. After study of the guidelines...80% of the IG (In-game) number of citizens is your max IG soldier count, and you calculate max tanks before the aplication of any mulipliers. Max IG soldiers x 10 = RP soldiers Max IG tanks = Max RP tanks Therefore you would have 5,132 tanks
 15. This discussion borders on discussion of moderation issues. Consider this thread warned, and any further mentions of suspension, trolling, etc. will result in a full warn to the offending party. And a word of advice...that would be an easier rule to keep if everyone was a bit more civil...
 16. Consider the thread warned. Next purely OOC post in this thread will receive a full warn. The truth is that there is a thread established for OOC purposes already.
 17. Someone alerted me to the fact that someone wanted a FAQ's thread? Here's reminding you all that you already have one...
 18. As Sarah Tintagyl is retiring and Elrich von Richt is barely active from what I've been told, Lynneth and iamthey will be the new GM's to replace them. It is decided that Californian should remain as GM for the time being, though should he retire, rest assured I know who he will be replaced with.
 19. Thank you. After due consideration, I believe I know whom to select. I will post the appointments in the GM's Court.
 20. I have been made aware of a distinct lack of activity from at least one, possibly two, of the three appointed GM's. I am not asking you to post in this thread...in fact, I am closing this to prevent such from happening. Instead, I would appreciate members of the CNRP community messaging me with suggesting for replacement GM's. Please, in your message, explain (in more than one or two words, please) why you think your nomination(s) should be appointed as GM. When I believe I have enough nominations to make up a good pool to choose from, I will unpin this thread.
 21. OOC topics don't belong in the Fantasy forum
 22. if it's all right with you, since the current GM's seem to be busy, I'll do the roll, if you like. So...1-30 means fail, 31-100 is a success. For you, you get a...98. Congratulations, you are successful.
