    Three nations: The number of nations needed to pay the reps. And they won't even have to use all their slots.
    I would like to point out that these terms are worse than anything the NPO has ever implemented, ever.

    On the DT situation

    I guess what really needs to be said is that DT is being less than truthful to the world. DT has absolutely NOT been willing to work with CSN. In fact, the last round of negotiations, CSN accepted DT's counter-offer. DT responded by withdrawing the offer. CSN went to see what their NEW offer would in order to work with them again to find a fair amount they could pay. DT's counter offer? "You give us complete white peace, except that you also publicly apologize to everyone on this side of the war".
    No, I'm not making this up. CSN accepted DT's counter-offer, which they then withdrew. DT's idea of 'working with CSN'? CSN must surrender to THEM. And also give them white peace to allow them to re-enter the war on another front. CSN rightly told DT where they could stick those terms. DT absolutely refuses to negotiate in good faith, demanding, instead (as I have been saying for days now) white peace.
    CSN is not an unreasonable alliance. Despite DT's continued attempts to drag them through the mud, CSN HAS been and IS willing to work with DT to negotiate and find a fair payment schedule and lighten the reps. They will NOT surrender to DT to end this war, though. The simple fact is that DT thinks they can continue to manipulate public perception of this conflict's negotiation to force CSN into giving them white peace. The last thing they told everyone, for example, was that they offered to pay 40k tech -- just that only 10k would come from DT. What they HAVEN'T found important for the public to know is that CSN accepted these the next day... but then DT changed their minds and decided that instead, their only offer on the table is CSN surrendering to them. Convenient that they've left that part out, isn't it? The problem is, if people knew the truth, they might not see DT as the victims in this.
    (In full disclosure (something you WON'T get from DT)) they later dropped the 'apology' term and changed it to pure white peace).
    If anyone who is involved in this wants to know the TRUTH, I suggest they talk to CSN somewhere else (as this isn't the place for this discussion).
    But yeah. I'm getting kind of tired of nobody calling DT on their BS, so I will now. That's what really happened: CSN negotiated in good faith with DT and accepted DT's counter offer. DT then withdrew the counter offer and demanded CSN's surrender. All the while, DT's complaining on the OWF that they've offered CSN 40k tech in a different manner, but the big bad CSN refuses to accept. And that's the truth of the situation.

    Today, I am happy to announce Penkalaland's decisive victory over Wasdrogan. After a tough first round of wars against Wasdrogan, I have decisively defeated the man who once leaked VE's warchest info (And confirmed to the world that we have massive warchests.) As Wasdrogan sits in anarchy, soaking up tens of millions of dollars and hundreds of technology in a feeble attempt to rebuy enough infra to purchase another nuke, the Entente celebrates.
    Let this be a lesson to all: If you cross the Viridian Entente, you WILL be destroyed. Wasdrogan's complete destruction should be proof enough of that.

    Declaration of Victory

    Yesterday, I declared war on Mr. Damsky to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world. Today, I stand before you victorious, having defeated Mr. Damsky on the battlefield. Despite war aid from many members of the great Carlos Accords, he put up no defense, and his nation has been completely decimated.



    In the days to come we will continue mop-up operations, and we will finish what we started. But most nations of Planet Bob can sleep well knowing that Mr. Damsky poses absolutely no military threat to them any longer.
    To Damsky: You should have surrendered yesterday and saved yourself the embarrassment. Oh well. I hope you enjoy the nuclear anarchy, and I hope you have learned an important lesson: If you taunt Penkala to 'do something about it', he just might. And if he does, you'll wish you had just kept your mouth shut. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way, though

    I'm only doing this because it's so painful to see them flailing around desperate to score a hit against MK. Listen up, guys: You need credibility. And if you keep complaining about MK's every mundane action, you're going to lose what little credibility you hold on the OWF, not gain it. If you accuse the other side of 'bawwwing' when they're simply debating an issue you're going to lose credibility, not gain it. If you're going to make a callout thread, make damn sure you have all your !@#$ lined up. Make sure you talk to both sides and find out what's really going on and if it's acceptable or not. THEN post.
    Granted, this will mean that you won't get to criticize MK or GOONS or RoK nearly as much. But at least when you do, people might not laugh it off as soon as they see your name besides the post. That is, if your reputation hasn't been permanently crippled.
    Learn what credibility is and how to gain some or you'll continue to be a laughingstock.

    Hi all! Just a few quick updates!
    First, I'd like to address the war in general. So far, 10 members have left Veritas Aequitas, and another eight have fled to peace mode. No offensive wars have been declared by VA; rather, they have asked their treaty partners (especially WFF) to fight for them. And that brings us to our next point: Lies and Liars.
    Veritas Aequitas is in this war because of lies, specifically JWConner's lies. Those lies continued when he denied VA needed to call in allies to attack us. A very minor lie, but proof none-the-less of VA's refusal to be honest.

    Minor, nothing big, but it shows what we're dealing with here: A chronic liar. What isn't so harmless, though, is the next lie. This is a lie I was told by WFF government.
    Tonder is WFF Government. I am truly disappointed here. I passed up hitting a WFF target last night and followed our agreement. My honesty was met by a blade in my back. Several hours ago, a WFF nation attacked me. Reason: Alliance orders.
    Still, Psweet, Brother-Kane and I remain true to our core guiding principle of honesty. This war started because JWConner broke the simple terms we set out for him: To leave us be. That's all we wanted. Instead, we are lied to, EZI-listed and betrayed. But then again, what else should we have expected from Veritas Aequitas?

    The alliance of "25 nukes than quit" hereby declares on Veritas Aequitas for breaking surrender terms. Some time ago, several nations attacked VA for past transgressions. VA agreed to surrender to end the war, and we demanded an apology and a promise to leave us alone. VA accepted the terms, and we walked away. Imagine our surprise when several months later, JWConner, the main instigator of problems, began following Penkala around and making snarky comments at him. It was quite frankly shocking. As honorable men, we believe in keeping our word, and we expected the same from VA.
    VA, you have broken your terms. War is resumed. Five VA nations sit in anarchy already, with more to come in the next few days. If you would like to discuss ending this, please come to #nukethanquit to discuss a peaceful conclusion. Every day you don't your alliances loses tens and tens of millions of dollars in damages for no reason. We will be fair.

    Aut Callout

    In April, Aut called me out for a fight. I agreed, and he attacked. And my alliance cut me off. I gave Aut white peace and promised him I would duel him some time down the road.
    Today, I offered Aut a duel in CN:TE (something that hadn't even occurred to me). Aut declined. I suspect it is because, in TE, he will no longer have his tech advantage (he had over 20x my tech) and he will no longer have his wonder advantage (he has 9x the wonders I do, including a Pentagon, MP, and FAFB.)
    Aut, I promised you a duel. The time is now. Accept and fight me on an even playing ground or admit that you're a coward who only wants a fight when you have massive advantages against your foe.

    Aut is an amazing man who has a way with words. I undertook the incredible task of sitting down and analyzing how he operates to find out why he's so successful at things like callouts. From that research, I came up with the formula to a callout, Aut style.
    Headline: <name> callout.
    Body: I don't like <a> (where <a> is a nation at most 50% of your size. Make sure <a> can not kick your $@! at this second, preferably waiting until they've decommed and returned to a peaceful state) because of <b>. <a> is a <coward, idiot, Polaris nation>. So, I call you out. Hit me, <a>.
    Caveat: This offer is valid now through <c> (where <c> is an amount of time in which <a> could not hope to double his/her nation and still have enough capability to fight).
    ----
    A few things to keep in mind: Try to keep <c> as long as possible so that it seems like you actually want this war, but NOT SO LONG that <a> can build up and actually hit you!
    Make sure to completely ignore the fact that you can sell down, instead calling it <a>'s excuse!
    Call <a> a coward often. This is known as the shahehehhehehahehahehehshahehshehehahehshahaahsheh method of trolling!

    182/443 IRON nations are cowering in peace mode (no BAWWW IT'S A TACTIC; they've been HIDING THERE, not cycling in and out. There's a difference between utilizing peace mode to re-arm and come out fighting and using peace mode to cower after you attack an uninvolved bloc.)
    3,322,512 of IRON's 5,000,000 NS is cowering in peace mode, leaving 1.68 million NS in war mode.

    OK. So we're bad for extracting reps based on NPO's actions. "2 wrongs don't make a right." Yet because of our 'wrongs', the Hegemony is entitled to extract reps based on our actions. Awesome double standard!
    Clearly TOOL was mugged. I mean, TOOL didn't come in on the mugging side or anything. Just because you come in offensively and get your butt handed to you does not mean you were mugged. It just means you suck at anticipating the fight your victims will put up. You still have to pay for the broken nose you gave your victim.
    ...This is stupid. See above. Just because you have a treaty with your fellow muggers doesn't excuse them from the act of helping them mug you. Oh, and it was an oA anyways. So they chose to do it.

    A quick note

    Hi. Taking small amounts of reparations when you're on the defensive side of a war, or even the offensive side of a war, isn't that bad. Attacking alliances over flimsy CBs (really just to take them out as potential enemies), beating them to a pulp with 5v1 odds or worse, scaring them into not using nukes, taking minimal damages and then making them pay for the pleasure of it all - that's bad.
    There's a difference, and calling token reps a Hegemonic action is ridiculous.
    That is all.
