  1. We're obviously still waiting for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
  2. Easy, let me explain: You send out a message to your nations to follow these steps: 1. log in to your nation. 2. go to 'edit my nation' 3. look for 'War/Peace Preference' 4. change it to warmode 5. click 'save changes' 6. pick one or more of these totally incompetent R&R nations 7. declare war on them OR, maybe you would want a guide more suitable for TOP? 1. talk big on the OWF 2. call in someone else to do the work.
  3. Care to elaborate? Cause I have no clue what that's about. So you feel for no one? Because none of our allies expected us a month ago. If people wanted us in sooner they should have hit our MDP+ allies sooner. Anyway, give yourself some credit, get a few more nations out of PM and maybe TOP can be a bit more than a token effort.
  4. Pretty funny coming from the guy that tried to push FOK to drop us over and over.. and over.... and over.. :)
  5. 15 minutes... I think you guys forgot something...
  6. Is it? I don't think there is a real grudge between TOP and R&R.. I doubt anyone in either alliance will cry over this though.. Even if it's just because it's 2 old big alliances that (though never really having been great friends) have never fought before.
  7. Will all your members come to unwrap it? Or gonna ask others to do it for you?
  8. Greetings, fine inhabitants of Bob. This war, to say the least, isn’t what we wanted to see. When R&R departed from The Superfriends and Dos Equis, the political landscape was tremendously different from the one we see today. Our friends and former blocmates were under much fire - both political and literal - and were looking to once again draw the short straws. They were well aware that we, the Usual Suspects, were prepared to fight in defense of them against an aggressive war launched by Non Grata and the New Sith Order. We stood by this, affirmed it numerous times, and never wavered in it. But, as so often happens, fate takes an interesting turn. This interesting turn came in the form of the treaty between The Order of the Paradox and the New Polar Order. A brilliant political move, to be certain, but it made for an interesting month of discussion within Usual Suspects leadership meetings. This treaty would, without a doubt, not only stop the current momentum felt on Bob, but reverse it entirely, turning the former aggressors and their allies into targets. The decision that NATO and TIO ultimately came to was that they, in keeping with their agreements and out of respect for their friendship with the New Pacific Order, enter into a war in their defense. R&R supported this move, and NATO and TIO know as much. Now, it has come to our attention that R&R has been placed under much scrutiny for its lack of involvement in this war. Some of our critics are generally well-informed, or even well-intentioned. Most are simply sycophants looking to earn a few brownie points with their newfound Paradoxian doms. (Word to the wise: They don’t use safe words. They just ride you until you become tired and useless, then move on to the next.) Regardless of what category the aforementioned critics fall under, it should be fully understood by now that we pay little mind to them. We owe them no explanation as to the motives or the reasons behind our actions. We do, however, owe explanations to our allies in NATO and TIO. Our governments are always in constant contact, but this statement is to inform their memberships, as well as Bob as a whole. Both NATO and TIO’s governments are well aware of the precarious position R&R would be put in by entering this war, and knowing so, have supported our neutrality in this conflict, and will continue to do so. So there you have it: R&R officially declares its neutrality in this conflict. EgoFreaky, President Garion, Vice President GreyOps, Minister of Defense Screw it: We’re coming for you, TOP. Actually Signed, EgoFreaky, President Garion, Vice President GreyOps, Minister of Defense edit: some format stuff that got in.
  9. After several attacks on our members R&R recognizes a state of war with Purple Unicorn Federation (PUF). Signed, EgoFreaky - President
  10. Cause before the counters the other 2 really needed the help right?
  11. It's kinda funny you say you have enough experience to know how things go a couple of posts later than this one, since you're not showing it at all here. First of all you underestimate the starting situation: - Theres a target on XX and Us pledged from the start to be on their side if there was gonna be another XX beatdown. - Fark are very loyal allies, with one big drawback, they take long times to form new relationships which doesn't make them the most flexible FA wise. - Sparta and MHA, no offense meant, but you just have to look at their treaties to know the chance of any game changing treaties coming from them was very slim. - Polar, the chances of them making a game changing move with a target on their back was also slim, thats the reason the TOP treaty was exceptional because no one expected it because it was so unlikely to happen. Thus it was up to surrounding alliances to gather support. You can ask any alliance Us signed over the last months (IRON/VAL/ODN) all discussions had one common point, we would support XX in a NSO/NG war on XX. Polar had no treaty with R&R so indeed no obligation to share their TOP treaty beforehand. Seeing we had almost daily interaction between blocs in which we made our intentions and next steps clear you can argue if decency shouldn't have come into play, but thats really not an issue. Polar signed TOP which was a great move and we recognized it as such. But the Polar TOP treaty changed the politics from a target on one of our allies to a target on another bloc ally. If having no treaty means not having to share information, i think we can agree having no treaty also means we don't just have to drop bloc allies to suit polars new political position. Thus that meant we were in a tricky position, when the war started we also recognized NSO had it coming so no one in Us was jumping to join them, we did the only thing we could do at that point and that was to not activate any optional clause. NPO decided to support their ally, which was their choice. However when someone made an aggressive move towards NPO with an optional in, there was no staying out. You can't activate non chaining clauses or anything after an optional attack. The mandatory clause forced TIO and NATO to act. So yes, I stick to my original point, the choice was made for Us. Thats, for me regrettable, but not anything to cry about. Just a fact of life. Seeing the original post i replied to stated Us made it's choice I just pointed out it was made for Us. This could have been avoided, it wasn't c'est la vie. One regret here, Mogar said something like, if you don't peace out we'll pile on you until you do. My fear is that polars entry on TIO just turned this from a fringe conflict to one that will last till the very last day of the war.
  12. Us was in the position it was in partially due to the threat against XX (Fark/Polar), forcing us to find support where they couldn't. A position that turned upside down when we had to read about XX (polars's) own solution on the OWF without as much as a heads up. And a position that was sealed when Sparta used an optional clause to hit an alliance tied to 2/3rds of the bloc. The only choice there was, was made for Us. Anyway, on behalf of the alliances we started out working against together and we mutually dislike, thanks.
  13. No i meant poor gasoline.. as in ohh you poor gasoline, what are they doing to you, pouring you over this piece of crap :P But you know, we had our dealings with CMEA/COMECON and their offshoot CIN as a protectorate this year. I think we have had our fill of micro's for a bit :P Since English isn't my first, second or even third language, I'm kinda surprised he only found one error, I find more in most of the American made posts around here :P For now you're probably right, that will change though after the war is over and people start to raid again or if one of their members screws up.
  14. No, what you should do is pour gasoline over it and burn it. Then go look for a decent alliance that can actually protect you and teach you how to survive. What you will do however is sit back secure in the knowledge you have this treaty, until one of your or COMECON members screws up again (and yes this will happen) and some alliance decides to just roll the both of you. Then you will post some topic about the injustice of it all like no one had warned you it would happen. And then you'll realize no one cares. As for the topic being in the wrong place, the mods moved it to the right place for you, just cause they're /that/ awesome :)
  15. First i thought this would be the most hilarious post this week. Then this one came up and surely nothing can be more hilarious than this. Wrong again! This thread keeps delivering. Purely for entertainment purposes, tell us what COMECON could possibly protect you from.. They can't kill a bug if their life depended on it.
  16. If you like warriorsoul, your avatar and name fit you :P
  17. Let me interrupt the war for a brief moment to announce something unrelated. Yes that's right, we're old, practically ancient. Every year there is a debate on which day exactly should be counted as founding day, but at least we can all agree that is was in November 2006 that members of the R&R boards on the American Army's forum decided to invade CN and found the R&R alliance. Sadly all but a handful of the founding members have left this world but even though they are no longer around and the alliance has gone through major changes over the years, we still cling to some of the values they instilled all those years ago. But enough about the past, another year older and what a year it was. A year of recovery after a period of oppression, a year we broke almost every alliance record we had and broke some nice milestones including: - 400K tech mark - 500K tech mark - 600K tech mark - 800k infra mark - 900k infra mark - 1M infra mark - 1.1M infra mark - 1.2M infra mark - 1.3M infra mark - 7M NS mark - 8M NS mark - 2000 nukes - 300 members (sadly only very briefly though) - 29 score - 30 score - 31 score - 32 score - 33 score - 34 score - 35 score (There, aren't you glad we don't announce every milestone separately :P) It was also a year in which we dominated in several recruitment competitions and won our second survivor series. A year in which we formed a new bloc and welcomed new friends. A year in which we went from an alliance only sanctioned based on the 200 member rule, to the 4th biggest non neutral alliance in CN. All in all a good year. But sadly not everything was fun, we said goodbye to not 1 but 2 blocs, several allies and a lot of great members. Closing the year with the current war in which we see close allies and old friends divided over both sides. Leaves me only to thank all members and allies current and past for the contributions made and good times had. Without all of you we wouldn't be where we are today. If you want to say hi or join in the celebrations, feel free to visit us: Forums - www.RnR-Alliance.org IRC - #RnR Tl;dr We're old get off our damn lawn.
  18. I think Os said that, he said GATO preempted MHA and ODN declared on MA since Monos Archein wasn't around anymore i think he meant Mandatory Aggression as in no option for them. Actually ODN did not go for the easy target, I discussed it with Os before they went in and they were fully aware that Fark and (at that time it was believed to be IRON instead of Polar) were waiting to counter. So they knew they would get a rough time, they only wanted to avoid a second EQ, which I believe is quite reasonable since they had 40 alliances declare on them during EQ. Thinking ODN tried to pick an easy target is assuming your coalition doesn't have massive leaks all over the place, which as an outsider I can tell you would be a pretty faulty assumption. Anyway, no love lost between me and NG, but this is a very weak move.. and since people are trying to justify it by pointing out what other alliances did in prior wars i think everyone knows it. Whatever stupid moves ODN or anyone else made in the past doesn't make this one any better. It only proves there's a precedent for stupidity in CN.. So congratulations for pointing out the most obvious thing in CN.
  19. Really? More was needed? ODN must be terrifying.
  20. To be fair IRON-R&R always had a mutual understanding of the situation and it went both ways, none of us ever requested each others help during those days. On top of that no one ever jumped on R&R in the way LoSS came in on NG. Anyway the rest of that discussion i'll leave up to you guys, just wanted to make that clear.
