1. The Confederation of Κυκλοι will dispatch Fr. Bernardus of the Abbey of the Holy Wounds with two brothers of his Order as representatives of the Faith to observe the events, if the Roman See will permit such.
 2. Arms and Armament The Kuklosian military is outfitted in several different ways. It is especially unique in that it is one of few militaries with an active mounted component – actual horse cavalry. Each branch of the military requires its own outfitting, though efforts have been made by the Knights to standardise rifles to better fight in case of invasion. 3.
We accept an exchange of embassies and would welcome a discussion of trade between our nations. To answer your question, Washington D.C. is a part of our nation. It is to be our national capitol.
It is the understanding of the Confederation that despite recent drilling efforts in northeastern Pennsylvania, your nation does not sit in a petroleum-rich area. We will be happy to enter a treaty of exchange of oil for tobacco, steel, and zinc.
 4. OOC: We all just mobbed the Texans - I can't wait to see their reaction.
 5. The Confederation of Κυκλοι recognises this new American nation and hopes they will be interested in exchanging goods by trade and embassies. The Confederation also wonders if the land of this new nation incorporates the city and surrounding metropolis of Washington.
 6.
OOC: Woops iC: "Is it acceptable to the Pontiff that powers, whose interests are based overseas, hold- even colonize lands of America?" Wilmington continued as he and Erdstrom converged on the Texan delegate. "America is experiencing something that seems to have been long waiting to see. I see it as- Hello, I am Ron Wilmington from the C.R.A. I am happy to make your acquaintance Mr. Secretary Damon." Shaking hands with the Texan Secretary of State, Wilmington continue to Erstrom, "I see it as our duty to safeguard America & her interests, even.. no, especially if that means giving foreign occupants the boot." For whatever reason, the word 'boot' brought his attention back to the Texan & awaited his thoughts on the issues.
"It is, in the Pontiff's opinion, the responsibility of local American nations to resist invasion, however it is likewise each nation's right to expand as they see fit - while the threat to Kuklosian interests are undeniable should a foreign force invade the American continent, he holds that it would be better to deter such behaviour rather than openly and publicly oppose it - since often this open and public opposition can often be perceived as an act of aggression and provoke rather than prevent such action." Erdstrom finished, turning to the Texan delegate, "I apologise we should have approached you mid-conversation, Secretary Damon; it is a pleasure to meet you, I am Henrik von Erdstrom, Adjutor of Monies and Merchants in the Confederation of Kuklos. I have high hopes that our two nations will be able to discuss the economic possibilities of this gathering, being as we are two nations with a history and lands rich in the drilling and trading of oil."
 7.
"What Finland can offer in terms of materials are large forests prime for lumber milling and plentiful water springs perfect for creating green energy and of course, sale to water bottle companies. In addition, Finland always aims to assist the people of nations, particularly the armies of said nations. If our friendship grows stronger, perhaps the punainen kaarti could train your special operations soldiers, or even better, Finnish military vehicles could be sold to your army for a reduced price." "Of course," she paused, contemplating. "This assumes you would be willing to pursue an economic treat with Finland, anything higher than that is, quite frankly, a pipe dream at this point. On that note, unless you're willing to sign something this moment, I can answer any questions and you'll then be allowed to tour Helsinki as you please."
She was very much aware of the situation between their nations, and she made it coldly clear to Kahlstein that this was the case. Kahlstein himself had made efforts to appear unbiased himself, but he knew full well that at home he would be in the faction lobbying against treaties with any communist nation - he had opposed overtures to France on the same grounds. "We shall indeed see what the result of the visit produces. I am, however, optimistic as Your Excellency strikes me as a leader prepared to be as open and honest with my delegation as you were with our Pontiff.
 8.
The thunder of the explosion which tore through the diplomatic hall threw both Angelika and Nika out of their beds. For a moment they were both confused, still shaking off the fog of sleep, but as alarms, sirens, and screaming filled their ears, the Amazons focused thesmelves and realized that the danger of Odinnson's rebellion was real and close. Throwing on her coat and grabbing her titatnium spear, Angelika ran towards the door and gazed out at the smoke filled halls and the flames lapping against the walls of the corridor. "Nika! Hurry up! We need to get out of here!" Nika had seen a lot in her life in the past year, but the surprise of the explosion knocked her off balance as she moved through the smoky room trying to find her outfit and weapons. "Where did I put my spear? I swear I just had it." Then she felt Angelika's hand wrap around her wrist and pull her forward. "There's no time, we need to get out of here. The building is under attack." They ran out into the burning hall and throught the corridors towards the entrance. With the smoke, heat, and fear of being trapped, it was easy to get lost in the confusion, but they moved towards where the sirens were ringing outside. Angelika realized then that they had been staying at the same building where Odinnson had placed the Tribal Chief and it filled her with rage thinking about the Pontiff's earlier considerations. It would be disrespectful for laides as Angelika and Nika to place themselves in danger, but danger had found them just fine and now the Austrian Princess found her own reasons to see this rebellion crushed. She was indirectly targeted herself and that was a tremendous breach of honor and integrity. When the Princess and the Companion finally ran down the stairs of the Diplomatic Quarters they were approached by an officer in the Kuklos Military who addressed himself as Ritter-Kommandant. Angelika glared up at him, she had no time for titles and less time to be reassured that everything was being handled. "Where is the Pontiff?" She growled. "Your rebellion here has hit a little too close to home."
Forrest could hear the Anishinabe chief arguing with Kuklos medical personelle trying to convince him it was important to check his vitals after the shock of the explosion. Wearing nothing but a pair of jeans and work boots, the Chief was shouting about the vengeance of his people against the murderers who had lied to them. Forrest would have to address him after he dealt with the clearly enraged Hapsburg. “The Pontiff is on his way. In the meanwhile, I would not allow yourself to get too shaken by the whole thing,” Forrest said in his usual tone in-the-moment; he was a very poor diplomat. “The bomb missed—unsurprising given the security we’ve had in the city and the misinformation we’ve been feeding into the rebellion for months. Whatever property is still in the building will be retrieved—and since you two ladies are unharmed, I’m quite sure your belongings will be likewise. At the moment, however, I’ll have to direct you to our medical teams to ensure your physical well-being before we do anything else.” As he finished, the Pontiff’s car pulled up and he stepped out, first moving over to Chief Crane-hunter, who he tried to calm down by ensuring the Kuklosian military would allow him to operate fully independently against the rebellion. The Austrians seemed sufficiently frustrated with the medical procedures, though they dealt with it much better than the Chief. They grabbed his attention as soon as the Chief calmed down and called to his body guards to make their way back to the tribal headquarters. He was accompanied by a military guard by Forrest. Both Forrest and Odinnson were now standing in front of Angelika and Nika, who were more than a little perturbed by the events.
 9. The Confederation of Kuklos is watching the development of the Cuban government closely, remembering the poor fight the natives put up against the first landing of Kuklosian settlers. Privately, conversations of this being a mere puppet state have circulated among higher-ranking Magisterium officials.
 10. The Pontiff of the Confederation of the Kuklos extends his sincerest condolences to the Roman Catholic community upon the death of his fellow Pontifex Maximus in Rome. He has sent a delegation from the Magisterium for the Administration of the Faith to the Vatican to attend the funeral.
 11.
"Petrolium." Wilmington seemed to catch the word that most captured his attention & repeat it for no apperant reason. In reality, he was hoping to ensure the cooperation of the Kuklosians in facing down France, Athens & Tianxia on the issues of transgression into the American hemisphere & his mind searched for connection between their interests. "Economics are certainly a backbone to cooperation & I have no doubts that economics will be at the head of these discussions for solidarity. There is an issue though with foreign interest into American oil. Is the Pontiff concerned at all with a..failure to launch, as they say, of an American Petrolium agreement with major foreign powers extending a very active presence into the Gulf of Mexico as well as Alaska? Both regions of the American hemisphere that are well known to be petrolieum-rich." The President scanned Erdstroms reaction & went on to say, "If American Petroleum is going to be the rallying point in which we pursue to attain better unity, I believe a strong stance is to be taken on the issues posed by foreign powers." At that moment, Wilmington was reminded of a quote by von Clausewitz, 'Politics is merely an extension of economics.'
"It is, I am sure, in our best interest to keep control over the petroleum market firmly dominated by the oil-rich nations in the Americas," Erdstrom thought it might be best to keep prospective relations between Tianxia and Kuklos out of the conversation, "if some of us stand together in this, we may inspire others to act likewise and form a community from a simple trade treaty. It is the stance of the Pontiff and several of the other Magisteria, however, that any agreement which would impede individual American nations from pursuing independent foreign policies would be detrimental, rather than helpful, to the Americas." OOC: That's not Clausewitz, it's either Milton Friedman or another of the new economists during the 20th century. Clausewitz said "War is merely an extension of politics."
Secretary of State Matt Damon arrived to New York to see the towering buildings. It was like Houston on steroids. Upon arriving to the United Nations building, the Secretary would go the appropriate room and wait for proceedings to begin. It still wasn't exactly clear what this gathering of American nations was for, however Matt was willing to give it a chance. OOC: Howdy. Just waiting for this to start. This has been up a while
OOC: FINALLY! I've been waiting for the Texans to show up. IC: Looking past President Wilmington, Erdstrom noticed the Texan delegation entering the room, and directed Wilmington's attention in their direction "speaking of our economic interests, it looks like another potential treating party just entered the room. I will be very interested to see how they feel about the importance of economic conversations here." Erdstrom hoped to encourage President Wilmington to join him in intercepting the Texans.
 12.
This is had far exceded all expectation. Ron Wilmington had wasted no time voicing his convictions that struck a cord amongst the American nations. Many came to forge new bonds, others to further their own interests, all to partake in what may be the first day of a great new era for America. The offer to host the American Forum by Pravus had been an unexpected blessing. Now a nation with long standing & reputation on the world stage would effectively be endorsing the call for solidarity & this certainly decided the fate of this brave, young endevour. President Wilmington greeted Secretary O'Malley, "Thank you, but our work is far from over." flattered, the President offered O'Malley a handshake, "It is an honor, Mr. Secretary. There are a great many issues that demand our attention & I am very interested to discuss them with you. Our nations of the east & west of the mainland certainly have a gap to bridge & ties to forge for the good of all America." After a short conversation with the California Secretary of State, both men would continue on meeting & greeting the rest of the atendees. Of all the persons & delegations, the President was most immediatly interested in the party of Kuklosian representatives in their military attire. Wilmington did not recognize these men as anything resembling head-of-state, but as he saw the oportuniy he approached the Kuklos delegation. "Adjutor Erdstorm, hello." turning to the accompanying men, "And hello. I am Ron Wilmington, President of the Continental Republic of America. I am very pleased to see that Kuklos is going to be participating in the American Forum. I wonder, what is it that you particularly seek to walk away with from here today Mr. Adjutor?"
Wilmington intercepted Erdstrom on his way to speak with the Californian delegate. Erdstrom was taken aback by the use of his title by an outsider - though thoroughly pleased. "The Pontiff felt it was very important that the Kuklos be represented here, regardless of personal feelings-- it is important for the Americas to stand together for the benefit of the whole continent," he responded. He liked the way that sounded - it was almost diplomatic, "we feel in the Confederation, though, that the first and most important step toward promoting this unity is economic cooperation, which is why I was chosen to represent the Kuklosian Magisterium of Monies and Merchants. I think after some discussions, I'll be able to describe my suggestions in some detail, but for the time being I think I can say safely that Kuklos is very interested in using its vast petroleum reserves as the basis for economic cooperation with several other American nations."
 13.
OOC: Small note: Sari is a woman. Finnish names can be confusing. IC: "Of course not," Sari said, nodding towards the robed monks. "I'm ever curious of other cultures and religions. I suppose you could call me a 'connoisseur of religion', among other things." Upon finishing this sentence, a few butlers arrived, placing plates of local Finnish delicacies onto carts nearby, asking if any delegates would like something. "As for what Finland desires on the international level, Finland has few allies - economically or militarily - aside from France and Slavorussia. Ever since Finland's recent inception, we've been fairly isolationist, sticking to Scandinavia." Sipping a cup of tea, she continued. "Furthermore, it's the opinion of the Parliament - especially those intellectuals - that Finland seek economic treaties with states abroad. Our first priority would have been Louisiana, but they had to rebel against the French, and the rest of North America hasn't been too friendly to our chief ally, the French, either. So, when our diplomatic corps heard of your nation's declaration of existence, it seemed only natural to pursue some sort of economic treaty. Europe can wait, but North America cannot. It feels like an ever-changing political landscape to me."
OOC: I should have used The Google. IC: "Then it seems we already have something in common. Our overtures to France, however, have gone largely unanswered, while our American neighbours have answered us with some frequency and warmth. I do hope Finland will show a similar interest in the success of relations and the promotion of harmony between our nations. We have presently been engaged in several overtures to foreign nations with offers in relation to our established oil trade. We have both crude oil drilling in the west and shale-oil in the east. We are presently looking at some 400 billion barrels of crude oil. We are in negotiations with the former Vicidalian Compagnie as a middle-man for most trades, but I have been authorised to inform you that if I and the Brothers are impressed by what we see during our stay in Finland, it is possible to enter a direct trade agreement with your nation if you are interested."
 14. OOC: I am definitely missing a joke somewhere here. IC: The Kuklos Confederacy stands against this act of Communist aggression against a sovereign nation which has done nothing excessively offensive to nations of conscience and piety. Messages have been sent to withdraw all excess diplomatic staff from Australia.
 15.
"Interesting. Serfdom, shooting with live ammunition upon protesters, supporting french colonialism, keeping the people uneducated and dumb are 'eternal traditions' that need to be preserved. Meanwhile, freeing a people from the oppression of their ruling monarch, giving them the freedom of speech, education, helping their economy, helping them develop a national identity are 'imperialistic aims' that made Vicidalia a 'puppet'. You have an interesting view of the world, Supreme Pontiff." - Laura Leclerc, Speaker of the Republic
OOC: Love that response, Lynn. IC: In a Speech before the Order of the Brothers of the Holy Name in regards to the discussion of Foreign Affairs, "That which has been ordained by history, which time has preserved through the ages by the wisdom of Providence -- these are the greatest pillars of nations, which uphold our own and others in a way greater and more significant than any physical structure; we remind those certain leaders who are critical of our government and other great Monarchies of this imperfect world that those structures which history and tradition have ordained cannot be rebuilt by human hands. The greatest oak in the forest also has the longest period of growth -- and like this mighty oak, nothing we may make, no pole, no pillar, nothing which imitates it in appearance will ever equal the impression left on us by what the soil has nurtured and nature has fashioned. What of these falsities, of "freedom," of "equality," of "rights" -- what of these things cannot be spread by means which violate the very premise of them all? What structure made from the mighty oak does not violate and destroy that oak? What excuse have we to make a structure which imitates the oak by violating the oak? What excuse have we for this blatant hypocrisy, to say we may make peace through war, freedom through conquest, order through chaos? What can we fashion, which has not been better fashioned by nature and nature's Divine Architect? Let those who say their conquest and destruction of that which is ordained be reminded: that which has been ordained cannot be fashioned by man, and that which has been created by Him which has no end cannot be begun again." The Brothers responded in solemn approval of the Pontiff's speech and praised him with shouts of praise. "It is our duty to that Perennial Tradition which we worship, that Holy Name which we guard to condemn always the actions of those hypocrites who speak of freedom, of equality, and other falsehoods of the Religion of Liberalism, and so shall we condemn them! I call henceforth an embargo on trade and the flow of monies to those children of Mammon!" The Brothers stood as one and drew their ceremonial swords, erupting in a single, unified cry. "Deus vult!" The room itself seemed to bellow. A Trade Embargo has been placed against the Lunar Republic and it's puppet state in Vicidalia by the Confederation of Κυκλοι.
 16.
Marie Littlewood laughed. "I just hope that we can all show some unity through this conference. New Orleans is still being rebuilt but it is returning to some kind of normality."
Erdstrom was glad that his joke had generated the desired response. "Well, perhaps if there is success in our undertaking, the Louisianans will not be required to rebuild their city alone. I hope very much to see someday this city - it is I am told a great centre of business and commerce for your country. Perhaps I will have the good fortune of accompanying a delegation from our Foreign Magisterium."
Ignacio de Soto would arrive on short notice given the message took a bit of time to travel from Virginia to New Spain due to a slight malfunction in Spanish mailings. Ultimately however this only meant one thing, Ignacio would travel with only one suit and set of shoes instead of his customary weeks change of clothing. If anything it meant he would be forced to purchase some local clothing and by extension pick up an outfit or two for his wife as an early gift. "There's always a silver lining" he thought to himself as he walked into the renovated UN building in the heart of New York City. His intentions were high and he hope'd to make a headway into this conference by demonstrating the demagoguery being used to align powers against New Spain could be subdued through logic and reasoning... only time would tell.

The Californian delegation would recognize the New Spanish representative Ignacio de Soto as he entered the main conference room. O'Malley whispered into an aide's ear as to not distract from his conversation with President Wilmington, "You need to get me an audience with Mr. de Soto as soon as possible. Say Secretary of State Kevin O'Malley wishes to speak to you about Southern California and a possible deal to get it under Californian sovereignty; although don't mention that directly to him." O'Malley turned to Wilmington smiling while patting the back of the aide to move towards de Soto, "Don't mind him, just need to talk to a few more people here after this discussion with you." Meanwhile, the aide strolled up to Ignacio de Soto and greeted him in the most polite way possible, "Greetings Mr. de Soto, I am an aide to Californian Secretary of State Kevin O'Malley. He has sent me here to request an short audience with you if that is acceptable to you? He would like to discussion relations and Southwestern California as the topic of private discussion."
Erdstrom spotted the New-Spanish delegate entering the room as he was in conversation with Littlewood; he did his best not to allow this minor distraction to show; he would, he thought, address the New-Spaniard after Littlewood, if he could sneak in the conversation before the Vizier officially opened the meeting. New Spain, he had been told, was of especial importance because of their location and their religion. The official Publishing Press of the University of St. John Chrysostom was interested in cooperating with the Archbishop of Mexico City for the publication of certain writings of Spanish and Central American saints who were in a similar mystical strain to the Patron of the University. He secretly hoped that the recent discussion of pilgrimage to New Spanish religious sites would induce Señor de Soto to approach him first after the latter's conversation with what appeared to be the Californians.

Any attempt to interfere with New Panama military operations against a terrorist state will be considered nothing less than an active declaration of war on the state of New Panama and will result in nothing less than a full military response on any such nation." 18.
As Angelika and Nika were escorted from their meeting with the Pontiff, the Austrian Princess was in good spirits. Kuklos seemed like a nation that could eventually be brought into the circle of influence that the Amazons and the Horde enjoyed in the Alaskan Imperium and what had once existed in Vicidalia. The Confederacy was a peculiar nation and it had a fair share of problems, including that the two Amazons found themselves in a country that was on the verge of open rebellion by racist conquerors. She took back her generalization of the country when she had first arrived and knew that if the Pontiff could take care of the rebellion in its first movements, the Confederacy would be a strong ally in the Horde's attempt to reassert its voice on the continent. Checking into the diplomatic quarters, the two women found their beds and Nika collapsed onto the soft mattress without another thought in the world. "So what do we do now?" The Russian girl said covering her face with a white pillow. "I don't really know if I want to be touring a nation if there are these internal problems going on." "Well we offered our service, maybe we could do a small tour around the immediate area and head back to Ehestadt. I kind of agree with you, this isn't a goodwill tour and with the German War still going on, our service is needed elsewhere." Looking back at the bed, Angelika shook her head already hearing Nika beginning to snore, her uniform still hugging her body. "Good, I'm glad you made a decision already." The Princess laughed and took off her coat and climbed into the other bed where her eyes quickly and pleasantly closed into sleep.
As evening fell on the city of Paulstadt, Odinnson put on his cloak and hat and began downstairs to head to his now-reduced home in the middle of the St. Eckhart Abbey construction. The stone, brick, and mortar had been delivered and was now being put to good use in the construction of the Abbey walls. The house which had once been a full ranch-style modern home had been half-dismantled already, and the remaining half served as quarters for the pontiff while the workers and monks kept quarters in the nearby tents and trailers. Their accommodations would not greatly improve upon the construction of the abbey and the completion of their monk cells, but they would at least be in a functioning religious community; the construction as it was constantly interrupted their routine of work and prayer. The car took the Pontiff back to the soon-to-be Abbey from the Regierungsbau, and on the outskirts of town he felt a minor tremor and soon heard a number of sirens wailing throughout the city. He looked toward the city to see an eerie glow. His first thought was an attack on the Regierungsbau – he jumped back into the car and ordered the driver back to the centre of the city. The phone in the car had three emergency buttons – he pushed the blue to direct him to Ritter-Kommandant Forrest. It rang. It rang again. By the third ring, Odinnson knew something was wrong if the central office was not receiving calls on the emergency line. He dialed Forrest’s personal phone. This time it went through. “What is the situation, Commander? I thought the city was absolutely secure.” “Frankly, so did I.” Forrest sounded more than a little annoyed, “and if you’re unhappy now, wait until you hear where the bomb went off. It was an assassination.” “If it was successful, you can expect to start looking for a new uniform from the enlisted men’s lockers.” “Don’t get worked up,” Forrest replied, showing no trepidation at being fired, “it wasn’t. We’re with the intended victim and his bodyguards now. He’s not even shaken—his only request was for a gun. I think Your Holiness’ attempt to befriend the savages has worked in spite of you.” The blood ran right from Odinnson’s face at the thought of Chief Crane-hunter dead on the diplomatic visit. He was, though, from a historically pugnacious clan and had been instrumental in leading the Gichi-ziibiwininiwag Identity movement, summoning memories of the all-but-extinct Mississippi River Ojibwe bands, and had risen to prominence as a spokesperson for the entire Anishinabe Nation even in the CANADA and Pravus Ingruo – some of whom he had convinced to begin moving to the reservations in what was now the Confederation. He was not a soft man by any estimation, but his death would still have meant a fracturing of whatever allies the Pontiff could have had in the Ojibwe people as well as their fellow Anishinabe. Then it hit him: the Hapsburg and her companion were also in the house. “What other damage was there?” “Not much. We just pulled up to the building now. The eastern wing is in flames, but the actual diplomatic quarters is fine,” Forrest responded, “the explosion was in the back of the building. It looks like it was largely untouched.” “Good, my car is bringing me down now; I’ve had the driver secure a military escort from the Order,” Odinnson calmed down. “I’ll be there in a matter of minutes.” “Good. The ladies are coming out of the building now. They have a bit of soot on their white coats and I don’t see the one’s spear, but it looks like their otherwise fine,” Forrest responded, “I’m going down to receive them.” Forrest was in full military dress when he went to meet Princess Angelika and Nika. The fire illumined the blue-grey tunic with white pants, making the gold stripe down his pantlegs disappear in the orange-and-red light. His beard, carefully shaved in the appearance of his ancestor, was thick and obscured some of his features except his grey eyes. The fire wasn’t nearly as intense as the glare in Angelika’s eyes. She seemed as incensed as Chief Crane-hunter by the whole thing. OOC: For those unfamiliar with the Great Plains and Western Amerindians, the Anishinabe are Algonquin-speakers of the Midwest, comprised of the Ojibwe (Chippewah) Indians in Minnesota as well as the Ottowa and Algonquin nations of Canada’s First Nations. They are related to the Massachusett, Mohegan, and Narragansett in the Northeast, the Powhatan, Lenape (Delaware), and Nanticoke of Virginia, and the Shawnee and Miami of the American Midwest, all of whom speak languages in the Algonkian Language Family.

However, this was a good time for the Directeur general to look at the mail she might have got. Before departure, her assistants all had been told to forward the mail to Paris, where a safe deposit box had been rented to store it until Charlotte found the time to look wether something had arrived or not. To: Department of Monies and Merchants, Confederacy of Kuklos From: Charlotte de Nouvelle-Châteaudun, Directeur-general de la CCCV Monsieurs, Madames of the Department of Monies and Merchants, The Compagnie has interest in all sorts of trade. Your oil deposits are warmly welcomed on this global market and we would like to help the Confederacy in the extraction, refining and selling of the oil. If this is fine with you, I would like to sign an agreement, so the Compagnie can trade with your people without worries, altough, sadly, at the moment, I am unable to visit the Confederacy personally. With regards, Charlotte de Nouvelle-Châteaudun
To: Charlotte de Nouvelle-Châteaudun From: Magister Matthais von Oberheer Madame, We are overjoyed at your response to our petition. We will be very interested in signing an agreement with your company, and invite you to send a representative to open a branch of the Compagnie in the Confederation. We are sure that our population can supply able and dedicated employees and it will put your organisation in a superior position to work closely with the refining industry in the Confederation. We can send some delegates to your present company headquarters to sign an agreement at your earliest convenience. With Warm Regards, Matthais von Oberheer Magister of Monies and Merchants Confederation of the Kuklos
 20. Some time ago, the Confederation of Κυκλοι issued a statement that "it is clear that the government of this new Vicidalian Republic does not speak for Vicidalia or her eternal traditions, but that it is little more than a puppet of an imperialist power". Today the prophetic nature of these words has become all too clear, and the Confederacy openly condemns the clearly imperialistic aims of the Lunar Republic which make it little different than its propaganda accused the Grand Principality of Vicidalia of being. Such hypocrisy is always revealed in time, and the Confederation calls on the international community to join in a condemnation of this action by the Lunar Republic to annex the so-called "liberated" people of Vicidalia. Office of the Supreme Pontiff of the Confederation of Κυκλοι.
 21. Frater Ioannis smiled at the Bishop, bowing in deference to his office and receiving like in response. He was expecting a general survey of religious life in Australia, not a summit of Australian religious leaders - but was pleased at this prospect. His hopes were high that it would be a highly productive meeting. "I will be looking forward to our discussions. It surprises me to see so wide a variety of religious leaders in a supposedly Communist nation."
 22.
Although the cold and snow dampened some of Helsinki's beauty, it did not dampen Minister Taneli Ruotsalainen's mood. She seemed almost as giddy as a schoolgirl when she showed Karl von Kahlstein through the People's Parliament. "A testament to the will of the Finnish people. Twice Sweden has invaded us, both times repelled. Finland truly is a dangerous foe." After passing through a hall of statues and painting of legendary figures of Finland's past, Minister Ruotsalainen, von Kahlstein and his entourage arrived at the Party Boss's office. Two punainen kaarti soldiers stood outside, nodding to allow the group in after the Minister showed her ID card. "Party Boss," Ruotsalainen called out as she entered. "The Kuklos delegates have arrived." Sari turned from the window, speaking in Finnish to a general who quickly excused himself from the room, nodding to the Kuklos delegates. "Welcome," she said, motioning to a table nearby. "Please, have a seat. I'll have somebody bring in some refreshments - your flight must have been terribly long."
Kahlstein was surprised by the fact that he had been taken to the boss rather than before the parliament, expecting the representative body to receive him. He was, however, pleased that he would be speaking to only one person rather than making any speeches or being the focus of great attention - he was a diplomat, after all, not a politician. One on one was his area of expertise. As he was shown through the hall, he was impressed by the architecture -- all the while taking mental notes to report to the Pontiff regarding both the style of expression of the leadership as well as the condition of the general population. As what was clearly a Finnish General gave deference to Kahlstein and his delegation, the man who was clearly the Party Boss pointed Kahlstein and the others in the direction of a large table and invited them to sit. "It was a long journey, to be sure," Kahlstein replied in answer to the Boss, "but it is pleasant to be back in Europe, and to a more friendly atmosphere than what we encountered upon leaving. I hope," he motioned to his robed delegation, "that it is not inappropriate to have brought some initiates of our religious order with me. Pontiff Odinnson is chiefly concerned with the matter of religious freedom in Finland. He trusts you are a woman of your word. For my own part, at the risk of being overly direct for a diplomat, I hope to learn of Finland's general needs and desires on the international level, for the purpose of the most fruitful relationship between our two nations possible."
 23.
Marie Littlewood smiled and replied "Yes i hope so too. I am happy to meet you. I thought i would come personally so i can make out what its like to be at these sort of conferences. I also want to give my opinions personally as i feel i could say it better than someone coming in place. Don't you agree?"
Erdstrom smiled at the warmth of his reception by Littlewood. He was confident that most of the Kuklosian goals would be met if such an attitude was expressed by others at the Forums. "Yes, absolutely. Unfortunately with so much building still being necessary at home in the Confederacy, our Pontiff was unable to attend himself. Since our chief concerns are economic in nature, I suppose he felt that someone with the greatest expertise in such matters ought to attend -- so I am unsure why he sent me," Erdstrom smiled, hoping Littlewood would respond to the self-deprecating joke.
 24.
It seems some governments have a reading comprehension: We have specifically said we will work with the neighboring African countries before taking action. Is it just us, or are some governments so incompetent and possibly guilty of being trigger-happy to think we'll be starting a bloody conflict without having exhausted all measures? You were giving several warnings to surrender yourself and the time for negotiations has passed. We will not stand by and watch you and your followers cause destruction across the globe any more. As of now, New Panama recognizes a state of war between ourselves and Nijambia until such a time as Tafadzwa and Yaza Hajin are removed from government. Because we are a government true to our word both to our own people and to the world at large, we invite you to take advantage of our Lend-Lease Programme by which we will be happy to assist in the supply of fuel and war material for any soldiery you may plan on deploying to eliminate the Najambian regime. This will be supplied free of charge until the official cessation of hostilities is declared, at which time we may negotiate the rate of repayment.
