  1. You stole Mogar's avatar. Not cool. Now give it back.
  2. So far I've avenged all of my grudges or at least seen my enemies fall. So why am I here? I think I still have a grudge but I don't know who it is against at the moment. Oh yeah it's Doitzel.... jerk got me started with this game. Still waiting for the right time to strike, even as I follow him to perma-ZI!
  3. Good point. If it was an OOC attack and against the rules, then it shouldn't have been posted in the first place but you still have every right to respond to it.
  4. How can you respond to a non-existent thread? That's not fair to the readers of this forum. Can someone quote it? Or was it obscene and against the rules or something?
  5. Too bad the Continuum buddies didn't protect GOONS, this thread would have been very calm and settled past the second page.
  6. The "worst mistakes" are all really pointless and I won't even vote for any of them because none of them count as a really bad mistake compared to other mistakes made. The number one mistake was obviously FAN declaring on NoV. Has to be #1. Mpol was utterly drunk or incapable of leading FAN at that moment. I mean, I like the guy, but he couldn't have made it anymore obvious and I'm surprised no one at FAN thought of anything better to do instead of going all-out against NPO so early.
  7. With my guide, nuclear warfare can be devastating again if an alliance coordinates its attacks on another alliance's smaller nations, constantly. Eventually the casualties mount up and with 2-3 months of bashing nations around the 10-20k NS range, an alliance will definitely suffer especially when the bloated-over sized nations are incapable of both aiding and saving their lower ranks because aid is limited to $3 mil each, and with the new reforms in war, less nations can declare war on each other so a determined alliance that is doomed can have a free-for-all killing range of the lower ranks of larger alliances. In the FAN-NPO war, it was only around 30-40 nations (maybe more I'm not sure the exact number) out of the 400+ nations that did the majority of the damage to NPO because only they could launch nukes and buy more at will, now alliances with the same amount of nations can send 100-200 nations to wage nuclear war, and continue doing so for over a month. Unlike the FAN war, more nations below 5%, up to 30% by my calculations can wage all-out war on lower-ranked nations and launch 60+ nukes if they wanted to, alone or in a group. I can just imagine a group doing what I did on a mass-scale, the damage would be worse than what FAN did to NPO, especially, as I said, if nations in the 30% range can launch nukes and continue doing so over and over again even in a tag team. That was my greatest challenge, was being outnumbered, but I still lasted for over a month, with only 75 mil, without getting any aid, and with no help against my any of my attackers.
  8. Jarheads should follow my guide. That would occupy NPO and GGA's smaller nations a bit.
  9. Where did you get the idea that I was begging? I was suggesting for an improvement from our current situation. Guess NPO doesn't understand the language of progress, or change for that matter. Then that means NPO must also come to an end and wither away into oblivion, for it has provided a great training exercise for every alliance and nation it has come into contact with and let go. I don't even need to use my own words to make a point. I just use yours and turn them against you!
  10. If NPO likes my warring because it trains their smaller nations, then they should send me $15 million right now and I'll train 3 small nations by attacking them and as Corinan puts it, merely inflicting a "dent" on the mighty NPO. Wouldn't that do justice for all their talk on how great of a resource I am to them and how little damage I have caused? If $75 million was a "dent", then what could $15 million do, especially when I have no infrastructure and NPO's coffers are so full? $3 million would be fine too.
  11. I'm going to add that to the guide even if it is widely known. Thanks.
  12. Contrary to the popular belief, I attacked 3 nations, one of which had over 10k infra, and nuked each of them every single day and caused a considerable amount of damage, this totals 21 nukes for them. I nuked the other three only twice, totaling 6 nukes after the first 25 hours, and the last day, which totals 27 nukes launched in the first war, leaving me with 0 nukes for the next round of nations, who will be considerably smaller than the previous attackers. 20 I started out with, and 7 I purchased every day of the war. This guide can work to nuke nations with SDI's too, even the attack on 1 nation rather than 3, but the amount of nukes distributed will be different and that will be up to the rogue to make that call.
  13. That's why you sell your infra the second after you attack 3 huge nations, so the other 3 won't be so tough. Yes, this won't allow you to destroy 3 more nations after the first 7 days, but it gives you an advantage in the war and lessens the blow compared to facing 3 nations much larger than you. Depleting tech should only be done once or twice in the entire operation. I only did it once and it's just a very small reduction if you have over 1500 tech. But yes, it is very helpful to have plenty of tech for the nukes and everything else if damage is your concern. But just remember your enemies will still make up for that in additional infrastructure, additional troops and additional tanks in terms of what "rank" (NS range) you fall under comparing dumping tech to dumping infra, and the ideal infra-to-tech ratio. I would prefer having a higher infra-to-tech ratio than I had during my wars because of the extra benefits that come with additional infrastructure. In my situation, I did not have mountains of cash, so I had to survive for as long as possible by reducing my ranks and using the nuke strategy against my enemies to win every single time. I would much rather send 4 nukes at 4 noobs, than 1 nuke at a nation twice the size of those noob nations. Because 4 nuked noobs means 8 possible successful ground attacks, and 8 airstrikes, and $8 mil. If I did have piles of cash, then I probably would have saved my tech, and yes, attacked larger nations to inflict more damage. But eventually you will have to resort to my strategy because it is inevitable you will run low on cash. In the BLEU war I did nuke my enemies because I knew I could escape to peace mode and launch more, especially since everyone was trying to spy them away.
  14. I've explained this in my guide. Replenishing troops is important because it encourages your enemies (more than 1 enemy) to deploy troops and attack you. Yes, they might win every single one of their battles and do more damage than what would have been inflicted from a Defeat Alert. In my experience, that has only happened a few times in the entire month and a half I was at war. As I was saying, when 3-4 of the enemy nations deploy troops, you can now nuke them hard and wipe out all of their defending troops, this will enable you to deploy all of your troops and attack the remaining deployed troops (whom earlier fought your replenished army and thus reduced in ranks). You can inflict 6-8 successful ground attacks on your nuked foe and bring in the loot and do a tremendous amount of damage compared to doing nothing. Yes, you could do the same in your Defeat Alert scenario you suggested, where your enemy deploys a few troops, you nuke that enemy, and you attack that enemy with the few troops he deployed earlier. BUT that's only one enemy, and it would be impossible to attack the other guys (even when you nuke them because they won't deploy any troops if you're defeated unless they are stupid) if they have not deployed any of their troops, especially if I followed your strategy of keeping all of my tech, because the enemy will completely outnumber me, even with the additional tech and the ground attack will most likely not go well. The exact statistics are not known on how many percentage points tech gives you in ground attacks, but it's a much safer bet because reducing your tech by 250, reduces your overall strength by 1250, which is more significant than the small advantage you get in ground attacks because your opponents are far smaller and as I explained before, most likely under 1000 tech when you are around the 20k range.
  15. I'll be honest with you, I believe both IC and OOC that Communists and Fascists are really no different and they both lead to Totalitarianism. But Kaiser Martens Totalitarianism was fun. Communist Totalitarianism on CN is lame, especially with a lot of them being anarchists, and anarchism is the worst breed of all the ideologies IMO. I did not want any anarchists in my Totalitarian alliance!
  16. Reverse step 4 and 5 and you've got it slightly right. I could have also attacked nations WITH SDIs and still made a massive success. But I have no grudges in this game, and my alliance is at war with other alliances officially, not specific people. Although it is specific people who we are against, these nations chose to follow their leaders and execute the atrocities we at Vox have spoken out against. I first attacked large, but weak nations by the wishes of the people of CN (you see, the people of CN voted for my target nations). Then I destroyed 1/3rd of my infra. You should really read my guide before you try and summarize it. I attacked 3 nations, one of them had 10,000 infrastructure. The other had over 9k infra, and another with around 8k and infrastructure at that level isn't cheap. 1 of my nukes does 170 damage in infrastructure (compare that to your 200++ infra killing nukes I suffered ), 30 from CM's (I did 17 damage in infra for each CM, some, I did 14, so I will just estimate conservatively at 15), plus the bombing runs, adding up to 22.25 infra each, and at least one successful ground attack. So 250 infra is around the right number per nation I nuked, not including the other nations I did ground attacks, CM's and airstrikes on without nukes. I am not too sure how much money I stole, but every one of my opponents has suffered greatly, and many of them are still recovering from my attacks, especially the ones I attacked twice. Even after a month some of my opponents have not recovered fully, especially my poor GGA opponent who bought 750 tech all at once (from having 5 tech) with his warchest, and wasting over $50 million if he had not done that and instead did tech deals. I had to give him peace just because.
  17. Here is Diskord's topic: http://z15.invisionfree.com/Cyber_Nations/...showtopic=63495 Notice how NPO was a lot nicer back then. Unfortunately that guide only applied for the top 5% of nations on CN because only they could purchase nukes during a war and possibly launch as many nukes as I did. My guide applies (I did the math on this) over 20% of CN and over because all you need are some good wonders, a Manhattan project, and a uranium trade. But for some reason I'm not taken very lightly by NPO as Diskord was. I also got a lot of advice from greenacres, but I incorporated everything he has into my guide (with testing everything too) and made it better: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=32419
  18. I forgot to add the tech-to-infra ratio. The amount of technology should be very low because technology has very little effect in war when it comes to the majority of your opponents, who will have high infra but less tech. I found that technology wore me down and got me in a NS range that did not give me the greatest advantage. This was not true in the past during diskord's time, but now I believe it does. It is better to have 2-3 times more infra than tech, even when going rogue because there will be more troops available to defend and attack, and there is very little chance your opponents will have as much tech as you since the majority of alliances pump up their smallest nations with tech deals. Even nations above 5000 infra act as factories for tech to sell, and most of the time they will not have over a 1000 tech. This is a trend that is set in stone on CN because a lot of smaller nations have no other way of growing and catching up with the largest of nations that have been here for over a year. With the cap on aid at $3 million, a nation can take so much, even with donations and wars. I will add the above to my guide. This guide started at the beginning of the year, and I added a little bit at a time until I finally stopped launching nukes.
  19. This guide is outdated, or it might just be too good. PM me for more info.
  20. Applesause important in NPO? I should have nuked him more than once, but I was distracted by another arrogant member. Must of been his plan all along!
  21. I don't even know why I'm wasting my breath with NPO. No matter what flaw or mistake I bring up of NPO, the alliance comes swarming in with defenses on what justifies how superior they are over everyone and everything. I honestly don't know how the rest of CN puts up with it. I put up a reasonable argument without flaming or trolling and here's GuardianofNewbs denying that it is possible to do 300 infra in damage to one person (even though his comrade said it is) in a before and after update attack, when in fact it is possible and have actually done it before. I did 250+ damage to you before update, imagine if I planned an attack before and after? Do the math before you say something like that, because I've actually done a much more deadlier attack alone on your comrades, not specifically you but your other friends.
  22. You did a grand total of 300 infra in damage and you failed to pin me in anarchy with a 4-member attack before and after update. I anticipated that attack and it wasn't as deadly as I expected. Alone I could have destroyed more than 300 infra to one person. If that's the pinnacle of your warring, then NPO needs to re-tool you.
  23. Ironically, I anarchied myself to cause more damage. It was worth it. NPO has failed to anarchy me still. It was actually an ODN member who successfully anarchied me by nuking me a month ago.
