  1. Yes I read the logs and I saw the accusation but I also saw where NPO denied fleeing to peace mode and I usually like to see real evidence of stuff before just giving one side the benefit of being correct. In this case, the logs seem to lean to the Karma leaders taking a "holier than thou" attitude (much like NPO used to take) and cutting off negotiations despite the fact that most of the terms were agreed to pretty quickly and painlessly. There was a term that had not been fully agreed to because of its wording and anyone with a brain can see why the NPO would refuse to admit to doctoring evidence that they didn't doctor. They did, however, agree to apologize, agree to financial terms, etc. It doesn't seem like they were taking their time to get out of peace mode, it seems very clear they were hashing out their terms for peace.
  2. I agree, unfortunately it has very little to do with my OP.
  3. So do you have a number of nations that slipped into peace mode during the negotiations or are you just making this up?
  4. Archon has the right to do whatever he wants. Unfortunately, his impatience with actually working out a negotiation doesn't reflect his character which I know is much deeper than what he's displayed now. I am going to guess you just think 900 nations are easy to control when it comes to keeping them in and out of peace mode but I can tell you that it isn't. I very highly doubt there was any leadership instructions to get into peace mode and I'm willing to eat my shoe if I were to be proven wrong.
  5. Sigh, no they were trying to clarify the terms so that people didn't think they made up the logs for the CB. You should consider rereading the logs. Also, when it comes to reparations its usually nice to have a number to agree on, not just some random you will pay what we tell you to pay do you agree now type thing.. Sorry I was trying to communicate in the same run-on style that you seem to enjoy..
  6. Thanks for your clarification. Sorry if I came off harshly in my words to you and I appreciate your patient response. I have many friends in the NPO and I don't feel they were dealt very good hands. If I were in charge, I would punish the leadership of the NPO as they seem to have made the harshest mistakes here. Also, I do find it sad that the patience offered TORN was so wildly different than what was not offered to NPO. Anyways go in peace friend..
  7. This makes no sense. NPO nations had plenty of time to get into peace mode before negotiations began. Unless you have evidence that these nations were being ordered into peace mode, then please kindly stop guessing NPO's strategy. Sorry if I'm taking this all a little personally but I was a member of NPO for a very long time and I find it very hard to digest this sickening display of gangbanging on my former alliance. Anyways, I'm off to Iceland for a week. I hope you all have fun kicking an alliance when its down.
  8. I didn't call for white peace, I called for surrender terms. I make that pretty clear in the OP. If the NPO has already been humbled (and it has), there is relatively little to be gained in an all out war other than to humiliate them further. Now that all of their allies have abandoned them, the only real reason to continue a war would be for blood. If revenge for the past is what you want so bad, go ahead and have it... but don't claim the moral high ground when its very obvious from those logs that the NPO was groveling for peace (a position they don't know very well) and Archon decided to not bend or allow much time for negotiations to continue. The reason I started this thread was not to argue semantics but to give my opinions..
  9. Archon, You have proven time and again that you stand for what is right in the world. That is why it surprised me today to read the logs (that should probably not have been dumped) of you and your Karma allies discussing peace terms with the NPO on Tuesday. Why was there such a rush to come to terms? If you were genuinely interested in peace, why did you not have the decency to reconsider the wording on the third term that seemed to not be very well stated/written. Why did you not act with forgiveness in your heart and why are you not quick to bring peace to the NPO today? I understand your history with the NPO and I can understand why you and your allies would want to watch the NPO burn.... but watching the NPO being abandoned by its so-called friends must have awakened something in you that made you realize that this is not how the mighty should fall. The logs are enough, you had the leaders of Pacifica at your knees saying they would accept terms. You and yours rushed out of that negotiation. That is not the Archon I know and that was not the honorable move. I am not in anyway backing NPO's war on OV, its obvious they made a mistake. Why then are you not big enough to allow them to make up for it? Why would you rush negotiations? For blood? Well now you have your blood and I hope it is worth it. THBN
  10. If that's true and if you have been given such an authority in KARMA, you should truly consider giving NPO surrender terms and quickly. Moo and Co. were attempting to satisfy the terms you and yours had offered and you wouldn't budge an inch. I thought I knew you better than that.
  11. The most disgusting part of this is that you cowards all grouped to cancel on the NPO in its darkest hour. You couldn't even make separate announcements.
  12. I will say one thing. From reading those logs, it seems very clear who was trying to get the war to end and who was rushing negotiations along. Archon, Tygaland, you guys have my respect but NPO was bending before your will to agree to your terms and you are taking advantage of the situation to continue a war. Its a choice you have made and its unfortunate how transparent your bloodlust was in those logs. That said, the NPO made a huge mistake and will apparently pay for it this time. Mercy would have been a nice thing to see, though. This hive mentality is disturbing..
  13. Hopefully the other DOWS that are coming will be more entertaining.
  14. As long as he just goes away, I'd be fine with peace or war.
  15. Congrats on the (re)formation. I will just go ahead and guess I'm officially off the EOG list, eh?
  16. Maybe I'm just biased towards old school NPO but it seems like Pacifica used to have a much better PR squad in the streets back in the day.
  17. Its still not an ad hom, bro. That was my original point. Whether his argument is true or not, whether it can be debated is not the question. When I said his point was valid, I wasn't saying I agreed with him.
  18. Doesn't sound like an ad hom either.. I think the "valid point" was more the second part of that quote..
  19. Um, no he didn't. He made a valid point that had nothing to do with you or your character.
  20. I don't keep up with what alliance he's in, but he alternates between despising and loving the NPO pretty often..
