Well seeing as this new form of government was brought forward and approved by the general membership of ADI, I'd have to question your judgement on this one...also, as the Lord High Sentinel has the capability of being removed from power without a coup, I'd have to say that this doesn't seem to me to be a dictatorship. True, it's not a democracy, but it most certainly is not a power grab, nor is it a dictatorship. I could also get really technical and say that we were never a legitimate democracy to begin with, as the majority of the decision making lay in the hands of the elected Guardians, and the un-elected Sentinels, rather than the general membership.

An Official Announcement from the Aqua Defense Initiative Well, I'm not one to keep everyone waiting, or bore the Cyberverse with long speeches about the beauty of change and all that good stuff. So I'm going to get straight to the point. The member nations of the Aqua Defense Initiative have elected to change the very charter which we hold so dear. As a direct result of this new charter, we have also chosen to make some changes in our current government. Well, because he is totally awesome, I think the first order of business is to introduce our new, amazing, and overly modest Lord of Foreign Affairs (who graces the Aqua Defense Initiative with his good looks and charm daily), Lord Tri of Tribathia! Now, on to less important business, I take the pleasure of publicly announcing the coronation of John Warbuck as our Lord High Sentinel! So lets give a hearty congratulations to your Excellency, John Warbuck, Lord High Sentinel of the Aqua Defense Initiative! Now, onto our new government. Mkay, so lemme get this straight. So, the Evil Overlord picks who he wants as his Phoenix Magistrates. But, in order for the impeachment of the Evil Overlord there must be a unanimous vote from all the Phoenix Magistrates whom HE appointed to office. Is it just me, or does it appear as though there may be a slight issue presenting itself here? Just my two cents.
