  1. The Elective Dictatorship of Palintine is willing to give national leaders new to the world stage one free screw-up. You just used it. We recommend you send those types of messages through private channels rather than over public broadcast. OOC: mark posts like that as private between your nation and his.
  2. I need to discuss Taiwan with Mercy, but for now it's still cut in half north-south between Palintine and Korea.
  3. The Elective Dictatorship of Palintine would like to remind the Japanese that the region is still considered Palintinian despite given semi-autonomy.
  4. All around Daiwa the senatorial offices shut down as the local offices began to open. Palintinian military forces maintained a strong presence as the exchange of power took place. All senatorial authorities were relocated to a central building in the city of Fukuoka, designated as the official "embassy" of the Elective Dictatorship of Palintine. It was from here that the motherland would monitor Daiwa's progress on the global scale as well as represent the senate's interest within the autonomous region. Military personnel ceased making daily patrols as the local police began its full-time duties.
  5. Formation of the Autonomous Region of Daiwa There comes a time when a government must take action for the betterment its people. When Palintine completed the Great Land Transaction, we were granted land in many odd places in exchange for Korea. Our central government was placed in mainland southern China, and it controls not only that but half of Taiwan and pieces of Japan. Our nation has had difficulty acting in the best interests of all the different people represented in this vast territory which was only made more difficult by the acceptance of the Kyokujitsu Teikoku refugees after the destruction of their homeland. It has come to the point where our nation has decided that our unitary system cannot keep as tight a grip on all of this territory as we would like, and we are now partially releasing the islands of Kyushu, Shikoku, and Ryukyu. The islands will make up a new autonomous region, the Autonomous Region of Daiwa. After much deliberation and a lengthy legal process, the senate of the Elective Dictatorship of Palintine has appointed Ishima Ryu to the position of Viceroy of Daiwa. He has been given the authority to form his own government. The prime minister will be monitoring Mr. Ishima's progress and retains the right to step in should the safety of either Daiwa or Palintine be threatened. While Daiwa is able to maintain its own military force, Palintine will be providing its own forces for its defense. There are already 10,000 Cobra Commandos stationed within the territory. Daiwa is also free to conduct its own foreign affairs, however we would like to remind Daiwa from where they originate when making their decisions. For the senate and people of Palintine, Prime Minister
  6. Now I may not be a GM anymore, but I think people will agree with me when I say Sumeragi's getting screwed here.
  7. There's an underscore in my name.
  8. Don't make me laugh. Man up and take your lumps without trying to hide behind our doctrine, because it doesn't work the way you think.
  9. Palintinian officials have already been working in Jiangxi, so the transition is expected to be painless.
  10. Once again I'm disappointed at a distinct lack of hawk_11 saying stupid things. God knows that guy runs his mouth enough.
  11. I've got a hunch and enough past instances to believe I'm right.
  12. Alright Sumeragi, for you I'll make a rephrase. Nikonov should come up with plans that don't lead to the inevitable destruction of his own nation. We don't need a Team Rocket in CNRP.
  13. Dear sir: This may come across as a strange way to get your attention, but the RP community is becoming concerned with your roleplaying habits. You have gone through countless amounts of nations only to eventually destroy them through your own actions backfiring on themselves. We in the community are starting to get sick of cleaning up after your failed conspiracies and plots. We would like it if for your next roll (after Indochina's inevitable fall. We all know it's coming at some point) if you would please think out exactly what it is you hope to accomplish with your nation, and if it involves some kind of bizarre plot to stir up trouble, just please stop. Seriously. Stop it. We're bored of it and honestly concerned. Signed, hawk_11
  14. OOC: You kids and your WMDs and your terrorism...
  15. OOC: By this logic I can make new elements that bend to my whim. Elements can only occur in certain environments, and since we're using the earth as our RP stomping ground the natural placements of the elements makes logical sense. Also, as far as I know we've always been playing like that.
  16. Relying on the government of a foreign entity while not conducting your own internal investigation?
  17. The Elective Dictatorship of Palintine again calls for the government of Indochina to conduct a full and proper investigation. Bullheaded ultimatums not only display your arrogance on the world stage, but damage the legitimacy of your government. Think before speaking.
  18. When asked for comment on the move by reporters in Palintine, the prime minister called it a "tactic that will surely fail," claiming one cannot police "what goes on in the hearts of the people."
  19. OOC: If you enforce the Imperial Right over that big an area, although it's certainly not against the rules, I'm going to be annoyed.
  20. The Elective Dictatorship of Palintine is both appalled that this attack occurred, but adamant about the prevention of armed conflict without merit or reason. Greater attempts at diplomacy should be taken instead of this absurd saber rattling that is taking place now.
  21. The side of the Senatorial Building was vandalized overnight by political protesters. A simple phrase was written in red spray paint along with a mural depicting the prime minister: Police investigation is on-going. Once convicted, those responsible for the crime face a heavy fine along with possible community service.
  22. OOC: Why is my nation name so hard for everyone to spell out...even after I spell it out for them? It's Palintine.
