RD is ranked 6 MHA is ranked 3 GDA is ranked 8 anyone in the 12 sanctrioned positions is liable to get into a fight. Fair doesn't even enter the mix.. also, We declared on MHA!!! War is unbalanced... successful war is even more unbalanced... sanctioned alliances 1-7 were either at war or allied, we are 6, GDA is 8. There was no better balanced target without becoming bandwagoners. Sorry if you feel this was out of line, but we did the best we could with the available options. (maybe the strength of an alliance should be rated differently for sanctioning if we are too powerful at #6 to be hitting #8... ) oh, and they had many more nukes before the spy campaign... the disparity is indicitave of ops.

I didn't have enough coins to select TPC... (also, there is a treaty to consider.. we aren't likely to betray one of those)

well, we were up in the air until today about which way we were going.. and RL is insanely crazy .. so this was mostly from the hip.. and it's sometimes nice to have opponents that know you are coming.. makes a good fight usually

Interistingly enough I agree with the idea that new blood is needed in leadership... However, in each round there is a call put out in RD for anyone who wants to try their hand at leading.. and the response??? *chirp* *chirp* we've gotten a few to try their hand.. but not many want to take the time.. so, I put out the call for volunteers to take the helm... (TE is a great place to train for ruling too) I agree with the gist of this topic and hope some players are up to the challenge:)

Blanket War Well, we are approaching the end of the round, and we really like everyone, but peace is boring. So we looked around and decided we should spread the fun some… RD declares war on the following alliances because the snow is heavy on the East Coast, and they need blankets… Aztec Rnr Gato Nato Swat I think that’s enough for now… Anyone else want to play?

Of course the most important factor in my mind is the FUN aspect... in that sense, there are too many good candidates. I do think RD has tried to keep the FUN in front but we do it by being a little crazy.. CHEESYBACON!!!!!!!!!!!! that being said, LE seems to be the tightest organization, RE the most drama (trrouble and LC too), TPF the most effrontery? maybe the word is boisterous, but I don't know if you can use it as boisterousness.... meh, everybody thinks they are the best or they'd be in different alliances... We at RD try to be morally responsible and we recycle our pixels to save the e-nvironment please leave our cheesybacon alone and you can't trust our Rodent Delivery Sustem with any nut or seed (or cheesybacon) deliveries.. (we really do work to keep up the average ns #'s, and the bigger your alliance gets the harder that is.. both TPF and LE have a history of getting high average NS with large member #'s as well)

Expecting a Nuclear capable nation to refrain from using them is foolish at best. It is far better to expect their use and be pleasantly surprised. In the event of a raid, it is bad form to Nuke without provocation, but continued fighting back can sometimes be seen as provocation. If you respond with a fight and then offer peace back many nations will lick their wounds and peace out.... but... if you fight back and continue fighting, the raiding nation stands to lose enough of their resources to severely affect them in the long term.. hence, nukes often fly. Really, you shouldn't be surprised that a nuclear capable raider nukes nations that fight back. Don't take this to mean I approve of their actions, just that I understand where they are coming from... Good luck
