I believe when you look at the list of founders, you'll see 8 or 9 rulers who have spent several years as leaders of nations on planet bob and most, if not all, had previous experience governing an alliance and working on a world stage. That, combined with the unique nature of the alliance, seperates us from almost every other new alliance formed in the last 6 to 9 months. I hope that answers your question - if not, let me know.

On the 15th of April, with great joy and excitement, Kronos entered into a pact with Athens. It was a strong bond that was reflective of the close friendship we shared. However as time passes, people and relationships change. It is with that in mind, and with a heavy heart, that I come before you today to notify you that 72 hours ago, Kronos gave notice to Athens that we no longer felt that this treaty properly reflected the friendship between our alliances and that we wished to cancel it. That being said, I still look fondly upon our Greek comrades and wish them only the best as we go forward. I have greatly enjoyed the time I have spent working beside the Athenians and still consider several within their ranks to be personal friends. I hope that one day in the future, we find ourselves closer once again; until then, may they find only prosperity and favor from the gods as they pursue their chosen path.

So after accepting him, OV didn't bother to come talk to you and just cancelled your treaty?

He is working hard and has re-immersed himself into the alliance he helped found and has been diligent in tweaking our internal programs. I'll give him a nudge to make an appearance when I see him next.

The members of Kronos recognize and drink Crown and serve it at all official functions. However Lazarus Long drinks only scotch, making him lesser in many eyes, and when he is not drinking scotch, he is sleeping.

The Activity Requirement is subjective to rank - government are expected to be active for hours a day every day of the week unless notification is given that other matters will pull them away from their duties for a given time. Ancients have lower expectations, and Elders lower than them, and Intiates lower then them. If one is not meeting the expectations of their rank, they are notified and given time to correct it - if that correction doesn't take place, they are demoted. If they are unable to meet the expectations of the lowest ranks, they are requested to move on.

I am typically not a fan, personally. If a new alliance is formed to try and do something unique or different then I'd support it (example would be Synergia). However the massive amount of alliances that have formed in the last 12 months bring nothing new to the world, many won't survive 6 months, and most are formed by people who are not qualified. While this may lead to some funny situations that make one want to put the palm of their hand to their forehead, it does little else for the good of the world. That being said, for every 100 that form and fail, there is 1 that will succeed. So perhaps it's a necessary evil, similar to active recruiting for other alliances.

Haha - well we were asked to consider it and did. We are fond of the Hitchhickers and many of us are very fond of them from our ex-Härmlin days, however it was something that gained zero interest and was quickly turned down, though we greatly appreciated Shamshir's time. I learned long ago that you don't get what you don't ask for and that it never hurts to ask, so I don't blame him for trying.

Porkers is a founder and has a fantastic mind for IA as well as the game in general. He meets and exceeds our requirements and is a good friend. We are aware of his past actions but understand he negotiated a peaceful ending with you and your alliance and that it is behind him. And yes, I am being treated for a case of the crazies I wouldn't say anything has bottomed out or plateud, however we have achieved and sustained a very controlled growth internally and are selectively adding new members to our alliance. The fact that the total number of members appears similar to what it did prior to Karma has alot ot do losing members to our activity requirement or other various reasons. We also just solidified two very good friendships with two alliances in TOP and OMFG and are steadily progressing along. I have heard rumor of such things and have sent my right hand man to investigate it further. De Caelo Missus I find it to be quite interesting I enjoy good comedy and enjoy that picture The Family - though The Mafia may take me out for saying that.

We considered a merge when we were approached by Shamshir of MHA and were requested to consider merging with MHA. I believe that was early april, just after our Declaration of Existance.
