Let me quote you for a second.
We are not destroying any culture. There are hundreds of languages and thousands of various ethnic cuisine in the Reich. If we were so "intent" on destroying these cultures, I do believe they wouldn't be available. Not to mention, just about every European language is spoken in Nordland. If you'd pay attention to our latest developments, you would see we have constructed hundreds of museums and have conducted thousands of festivals to celebrate the many different cultures of the Greater Nordlandic Reich. As I said before, we have combined these cultures and simply placed them under the umbrella of "Nordic".
Oh, so, those that mean we can consider all cultures in our nation as "Great Lakes" culture?

Melting pot of culture: Multiple cultures in one nation, some of it mixed, others aren't.
Culture genocide: Purposely abolishing all other cultures except for one/few/none.

An aggressive action that sparked a war. If nation was to storm one of your embassies in their land and take it apart without any evidences to prove that your embassy had something to hide, what would you do?

We were in a cold war with Cainette ever since they aborted their invasion from international pressure, and it only ended when they were absorbed into Canada. We never attacked Cainette, even when our military was at the largest point.
And during our cold war, the only defenses on Great Lakes State/Cainette border was a few border patrol boats, not dozens of heavily armed naval ships or 24/7 air patrol.

The history of Nordland tells us that they must conquer all of Europe and enslave all its native people before they can... do something. Nothing about their actions ever makes any sense, don't try to figure it out you'll only end up with a brain tumor.
Indeed, they have a habit of demolishing much weaker nations because they were a "threat", and is very impatient with diplomacy, but not with wars.
On top of that, we are starting to think GNR wants to achieve peace, through wars.

Stay out of ROM! Since their military is in ROM, all that is left at home is children under three and their govt. Now, personally, I would be more afraid of the children, since they at least have the mental capacity to speak, however, since you will be dealing with a govt which has to time share a single brain cell, I do not think your therapists would be shot by vegetables.
Alright, we can send in therapists, in body armor just to make sure they aren't used as a stress reliever.

Correction. Uberstein declared war on the Nordic Confederacy, which carried over onto Nordic Reich. We had every right to seize his mansion. Especially considering, the mansion belonged to a state currently at war with us. Naturally, we had every right to fear the possibilities that the mansion would be used for insidious activity against the Reich. We were taking the necessary precautions, to ensure the safety and security of our people. In regards to the accusations about hunting his family down, If we were doing that..we wouldn't have released the Baron's cousin within 48 hours.
No wonder why his declaration of war lasted about a year, you purposely extended it so you have some kind of a sick excuse to roll him.
Naturally, we had every right to fear the possibilities that the mansion would be used for insidious activity against the Reich.And that is your paranoia talking. If you are so worried about that mansion, couldn't you take it apart, transport all of the pieces into Mariehamm, and then rebuilt it?

Next day, June 12th:
Operative one entered Robert's "bedroom" to deliver his breakfast while operative two left to check the mail to see if the president have decided to pay the ransom.
"Your breakfast is ready." said operative one. Robert kicked at the breakfast tray, and sent the hot meal into the operative one's face.
"YOU BLASTED IDIOT!" screeched operative one as he dashed out of the room to get the scalding hot food off.
"Owned, once again." chuckled Robert.
Operative one came back after several minutes later, armed with a whip. "You are going to pay..." mumbled operative one as he whips Robert.
"Nice try." replied Robert as he catches the whip with his hands and tugs it, sending operative one tumbling onto a pile of barbed wires.
Moaning in pain, operative one left the room. After an hour of waiting he came back, with a shotgun. "Alright, I am going to kill you right now so I don't go insane." said operative one. "Your shoe is untied." said Robert. "What?" asked operative one as he looks down.
He was kicked in the head, and then in the private part and was sent tumbling onto the floor while operative two entered the room. "What the heck is going on?" asked operative two. "He was going to blast me with a shotgun, self defense." replied Robert.
"We need to talk..." said operative one while exiting the room. Operative two followed while closing the door. "WE NEED TO GET RID OF THAT KID NOW! If we keep him here any longer, I will have to go to an mental hospital!!! In fact, you said he would not hurt me, and he did! Look what he done to my face and my chest!" yelled operative one while pulling up his shirt, showing cut marks, bruises, and bandages all over on it. "We struck a deal with the president. We will pay him $5 million in return sending his son back." replied operative two.
"Are you serious?" asked operative one. "Yep, I am." replied operative two.

That's called metagaming. And no, it isn't. However, spying occurs worldwide in a variety of places in real life. To bring this into CNRP, lets say you were doing something with building projects. Someone with satellites can take pictures of said building projects (whenever my citizen count gets high enough I'll have satellites, and they will be actively monitoring as much of the world as possible) and then spy to find out what it actually is.
Say, if this was Tahoe doing the classified. I'd want to know what's going on in his country no matter what. If he does something classified and there's a slight possibility that I would be able to find out what might be happening without using spies, I'm going to try to find out what it is. However, if it was Singapore I wouldn't give a !@#$.
What I meant was different, another example:
Person A is RPing the building of a biological weapon (or anti-aircraft gel), but keeping it classified by hiding the development.
Person B notices it through OOC, and decides to carry it into IC by asking if he/she can spy on Person A over an OOC reason.

Whether or not Mariehamm issued a declaration of war means nothing. You are the aggressor here, plain and simple. Keep hanging on to your retarded fairy-land ideals, you'll have your day soon enough.
And to add to their comment, although Baron declared war, he hasn't attacked even once for quite a while. Based on what Marten said...

Of course, that presumes all those fortifications you keep making are total paper tigers, and your argument rests on the surmise that the annoying little Baron could actually hurt you. So, could he, a rather small nation actually hurt the massive GNR? Or are you lying about this to make it look like you are doing anything more than armed robbery combined with assault and battery, writ large for what amounts to a scratched pride and lack of manhood to say, "No, I shall rise above this"?
Or that GNR is unstable, but they somehow do a decent job of hiding it from the public view.
It'd be paranoia under normal circumstances - peace. It is not paranoia when the nation in question has declarede war on us and refused diplomacy. I'd say that there's a bit of a difference between a state of peace and a state of war.You mean a cold war, where the only thing is being fired is verbal insults. Or is it because Baron included explosives with his insults?
Also, please check your facts again. Cainette never offered a peace treaty after they aborted the invasion, nor did we. We were basically still at war with Cainette until it surrendered to Canada.

No, all he'd do is wait for us to be in some sort of trouble eventually and invade our north when he gets the chance, even if it takes years. Doing nothing would be like sleeping on the street with your pants down.
Paranoia much? Before Cainette collapsed, we thought they were going to to try to invade us again. Cainette tried to take us over once when our military was weak. Did we try to invade them over a fear when our military was at the strongest point (OOC: IG war, inflated military :OOC)? No.

I have a question about when to spy. For example:
Person A RPs something classified.
Person B notices it OOC and decides to spy on Person A to find out the classified IC due to OOC reasons.
Is that allowed?

Heh, good plan. Too bad I'm working on my border defenses right now. By the time you reach first world, my borders will be fully-fortified.
Meanwhile, I can provide covert support to the gangs within your territory and RP dropping propaganda pamphlets depicting your nation in a bad light.
I have ways of placing my military in your nation without losing too many soldiers.
And if you provide support for the TUO, the Hello Kitty gangs and their buddies will hate you, same thing the other way around. If you provide support to both sides, it is only going to amplify the fighting and then both gangs will think of you as a backstabber.

Correction:
The Nords: invaded his mansion after saying, "ZOMG! WE HAZ SUSPECTED THAT YOU HAZ A INTERNAL SECURITY THREAT IN YOUR MANSION! WE R GONNA RIP IT APART!!!!!!", without having much evidences to prove it is worth ripping the mansion apart, if there were any.
Uberstein: declared war after you invaded his mansion and torn it apart.
The Nords: economically separated him from the world, diplomatically threatened him, has now attacked him, and said, "BUT HE CAUSED THE WAR! HE DECLARED WAR ON US!!!".
Oh, and they aren't self sufficient, they depend on other nations for certain resources, such as oil.
