  1. "First, let me wake up my workers. They haven't woken up yet."

Director Fan headed back into the building, a bit annoyed that NONE of his workers set the alarm clocks. He started banging on each of the GLS scientists' rooms' doors, shouting, "Wake up or I will put a foot in your rear end!"

  2. In Hello Kitty's HQ:

While the old lady was wreaking chaos, John Gor, a fan of Hello Kitty and the leader of the gang, was sitting in his office...

    Commander: Sir?

    John: What?

Commander: All of our kidnappers bailed out and applied for witness protection after three weeks of holding the president's son, Robert Jake, hostage...

John: WHAT?! Are you freaking serious?!

Commander: Yep. Look at this note.

    --

    Note:

    Dear John

The hostage drive us to the point beyond insanity. Good bye, because if we don't run, we will all be sent to the mental hospital for serious treatments.

    --

    John:...

Commander: So, what should I do?

John: Get another group to hold Robert Jake hostage, now.

    --------------------

    In the parking garage:

"ZOMG! RUN AWAY! KILLER LADY IS ON LOSE!" screamed a Hello Kitty soldier as he runs for, screaming. The security guards were simply no match for the legendary old lady that has a anger management issue. "What is your problem lady!?" screamed another soldier as he gets picked up and thrown into a car, completely totaling the car in the process. Another group of soldiers stormed in, only to get smashed by their own buddies that were thrown around like a rag doll.

    In TUO HQ:

It seemed like TUO also had a similar problem, because a 300 pound drunken person wandered into the building after noticing a broken sign pointing to the building that said, "FREE BEER!".

"DIE!" screamed a guard as he opens fire when he notices that a person bashed down the garage door. The drunken person grabbed a wooden box as a shield and pushed the guard down. Another guard appeared, and he was body slammed by the drunken person.

Ribs cracking and screams are heard...

"ME WANT MA BEER!" slurred the drunken person as he bashes down another door and enter the storage room. "No beer for you bud!" yelled a guard. "YOU SAY WHAT?!" slurred the drunken person as he body slams the guard.

"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" yelled another guard as 5 of them charged toward the drunken person. The drunk grabbed a box filled with cocaine and smashed it on top of the first guard's head, spilling the powder everywhere and over dosing the guard.

The second guard was kicked in the private part and sent throwing into the other three guards. The third guard attempted to pull out his pistol, but he was picked up and smashed head first into another box of cocaine repeatedly. The fourth guard pulled out his taser and fired it at the drunk.

Sadly, the drunk hardly felt any pain, turned around, and clanged the guard's head with the first guard's head.

The second guard slowly got up and tried firing his pistol, but was picked up and smashed head first into the concrete floor.

"CALL THE BACKUP! THE POLICE! MILITARY! ANYTHING!" screamed the fifth guard as he gets chased by the drunk...

  3. Again, George heard voices, but these were accompanied by footsteps. he took a quick glance out, and saw the two other prisoners. he assumed they were probably just that, and that they'd acquired the uniforms like he had, but he couldn;t be certain, although with the boy he was a little more certain that he otherwise would have been. He quickly darted out of the room, and rolled, heedless of the blood, behind the door that was propped against the far wall. He aimed the dart gun at them as he spoke in an even voice.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"Robert Jake. I don't know, all I know is we are stuck in some kind of a testing facility and something went wrong." replied Robert.

  4. Clara nodded her head gingerly in response, she might be older than Robert but he knew exactly what he was doing and somehow he was unafraid. Probally those late night movies that boys watch. "What do we do now?" she whispered her eyes darting up and down the corridor in fear.

"We stick together at all times unless if we are being chased by someone really dangerous. I don't know where to go, but somewhere where we can find some kind of a map direction. Lets try heading down that direction, the sign on the wall says it leads to an office, I think." replied Robert pointing his finger toward the direction.

He drew out his pistol and begun walking while whispering, "Trust me, I have been much worse than this before. Being chased around in an unknown building by 50 angry terrorists armed with automatic shotguns in the past was not fun."

  5. Clara couldn't believe it. She had found someone. Someone alive. She couldn't stop the sound of relief in her voice as she spoke to this boy. "My name is is Clara. Who are you?" she asked slowly standing up and bringing the gun back to her side, away from the young lad.

"Robert Jake, son of the Great Lakes State President. All I know is that we have been kidnapped, and something went wrong here. We need to keep quiet." replied Robert.

  6. A few seconds of staring at the disgusting pool of vomit and a quick wipe to clean her mouth and Clara readied herself to step outside the small room she was in, it was difficult as much as she feared being trapped inside alone the sight outside was more horrific but she had no choice and slowly inch by inch she pushed open the door and this time kept herself from being sick. The scene outside looked like something ripped from over the top gore horror movie as bodies and pieces of bodies lay scattered along the hall way whilst blood was pooled on the floor and sprayed across the ceiling and walls. Holding the gun until her knuckles were white Clara made her way out of the room looking down the corridor for a sign of some way out or for someone to help her. She almost shot the boy that had exited the room adjunct to her but fear managed to force to freeze and she could only cower in fright.

"Who are you?" silently asked Robert.

  7. OOC: From what I understand, I'd say they probably would be too localized and brief to pick up.

EDIT: Well, maybe you'd pick them up, but considering all the other information that you would have to sort through, you probably wouldn't notice them. Sorry... :(

OOC: Indeed. Those flashes only last less than 5 seconds and are small. There is no way you can pick up the flashes because it could be some random person setting off fireworks during daytime. Besides, it is harder to detect bright, brief, small flashes during the daytime.

  8. In another medical room a few meters away, a 15 year old teenager boy was lying in the bed. His name? Robert Jake, the son of the Great Lakes State president.

    ------------------

"Where the heck am I?" groaned Robert as he slowly woke up. Scanning the room quickly, he noticed it looked something like a medical room in a hospital, except something did not fit with the picture.

There was an arm lying on the floor, with a pool of blood around it and chairs scattered all over the place. "Okay, this is odd..." thought Robert. He then looked at his clothing, and noticed all he had was a thin cotton medical dress. "When did have an an unscheduled medical checkup in a hospital?" Robert asked himself as he got up and carefully avoid stepping on the pool of blood. He scanned through all of the drawers, hoping to find some kind of clothing that is more comfortable.

He opened the cabinet and found a doctor's coat, shoes, socks, and a handgun with ammo scattered around it. He quickly slipped on the doctor's coat and the shoes, only noticing that they are too big. Grabbing a roll of duct tape, he taped part of the coat together to make it fit his size better and stuffed socks in the over sized shoes. He then grabbed the hand gun and all of the ammo, tucking them into the coat's inner pocket, including the duct tape.

"I do not want to imagine what is outside..." mumbled Robert as he opens the door. Pools of blood and bits of gore were in the dimly lit hallway that was lighted by emergency lights. He was slightly surprised, but seen much worse before. However, he realized that it was no unscheduled medical checkup, he was kidnapped. He scanned the hallway and walked slowly, not bothering to shout in case if someone dangerous is sticking around here.

  9. OOC: Ah, dont worry about that. You're doing fine. *pats HHAYD on back*

IC: Ellison stood outside of the building, holding his clipboard. Ellison grinned as he saw Fan. "Good morning, sir! The experiment can proceed in a short while. The pilots have recovered in a remarkably short time, and they are good to go."

"First, let me wake up my workers. They haven't woken up yet."

After one of our neighbors were EMPed, we have decided to EMP proof the nation. Such action would require years of work, and is extremely expensive. The first systems that will be EMP proofed are the power lines, power plants, railroad system, and all of the military vehicles. The border defense that is being built will be EMP proofed as we continue to build it.

  11. Ellison nodded. "Right this way." He said. The director led Fan and the GLS scientists to their respective quarters in the AETC.

They headed to their quarters and stayed there overnight.

    --------

    Next day:

Fan the director left his quarters and walked outside...

OOC: I am horrible at RPing personal actions.

  12. OOC: I am just going to assume that the GLS troops had dealt with the AP soldiers in the tower. JerreyRough can finish that.

    ----

IC: Not much was going on in the base. The soldiers had finished repairing the base and upgrading it. It would be nearly impossible for a zombie horde to break through the defenses considering the amount of machine guns, mini guns, stationary sniper rifles, napalm rocket launchers, rocket launchers, mortars, and artillery guns were placed in the defense walls, towers, and behind the walls.

Some of the cargo ships were completely unloaded and headed directly back to GLS. 10 of the cargo ships left the base to reclaim the devastated coastal Heskan base located north of them.

Meanwhile, three search and rescue helicopters took off (painted red, with a while circle that has the red cross symbol in it. Marked Great Lakes State Search and Rescue), with the escort of three military attack helicopters. 15 cargo, 20 passenger helicopters, and 25 attack helicopters took off to reclaim the devastated Inland Eastern Central Heskan base...

    -----

In one of the search and rescue helicopters:

"No signs of uninfected in the grass land. Seems like there are only zombies. Returning back to base." said the pilot while speaking into the radio.

  13. Deadly anti-aircraft fireworks:

    Estimated completion: unknown

Comments: Currently being tested. Type one, two, and three powder failed. Type four successfully blinded the pilots. Type five, type six, and type seven are pending. Type eight is near finish development.

    ---

    Encryptor:

    Comments: Just begun building it.

  14. Ellison nodded. "So be it." He said, smiling. The AETC was equipped with modern facilities, including sleeping quarters, showers, etc.

Fan signaled the GLS scientists to take a break. "Mind if you can show us our rooms?" asked Fan.

  15. Deadly anti-aircraft fireworks:

    Estimated completion: unknown

Comments: Currently being tested. Type one, two, and three powder failed. Type four successfully blinded the pilots. Type five, type six, and type seven are pending. Type eight is near finish development.

    Encryptor:

Comments: We are developing an electro-mechanical rotor machine that sends out digital signals instead of radio signals to bypass any potential radio jamming signals.

For typing and viewing, it will have a complete set of keyboard, a port for a small printer, and a screen (can be disabled).

The machine will also have a encryption set of 10 rotors with the numbers 0-9 imprinted on them, a master rotor with the numbers 0-20 to activate the 10 rotors, letter plugin board with the English alphabet (Each port will have a letter next to it. Three wires are used to connect one port to the other.), a digital format switch (4 different kinds), a number plugin board with the number 0-9 (Two correct ports must be connected using a wire), GPS device and a small incendiary package for self destruction that can be ignited via radio signal and self destruct button.

The security function above basically requires you to find the right daily combos to listen and send messages. The main reason why it is electro-mechanical is because unlike computers, you can't really hack into electro-mechanical machines without ripping it apart and risk damaging it.

The code books are highly flammable and are printed with ink that can be quickly dissolved with water. Code books state exactly what 10 numbers the rotors need to be set on, water number the master rotor be set on, which ports to be connected together using the wires, which digital format to use, and which number plugin board's ports to plug together daily in order to receive and transmit a correct message per day.

Code books are to be replaced with new ones every week and a new model of the Encryptor to be produced and deployed every 8 weeks. Each model has a different signal per each key. Using an outdated model or code book will only receive and transmit garbled messages.

  16. OOC: Nighttime missions would obviously be the most effective time to use these. Even with the counter-tech, it would still create momentary blindness or disorientation.

As for ground troops, many nations have their troopers wear helmets that provide 360 degree protection, and mine have the auto-dimmer installed for things like flashbangs and gunshots at night. The shockwave would probably knock them down, but it depends on if they are using nightvision or not. If they are, your stuff will really screw with them. If they aren't... well, I guess it depends on what the other person has.

OOC: What about noise? If your troops rely on radio for commands during a war against me, and my troops notice that, they will jam radio signals. I am currently thinking up of a way to rely on non-radio efficient communication.

EDIT: How fast does those auto-dimmers react when a sudden powerful flash hits it?

  17. OOC: Eh, but once word of these gets out, all it will take it auto-dimming $@pits and facemasks to counter the effects... and many pilots fly with sunglasses during daytime missions to begin with.

OOC: That is why I am going to continue to RP the development more powerful stun rockets that burns up faster. What about nighttime missions?

EDIT: And even if I get beaten by the counter-stun rocket technology, I can always use the stun rockets against ground infantry.

  18. OOC: Those fireworks are just oversized flash grenades... :P I can tell they would be at least somewhat effective, though.

OOC: Oversized flash grenades that have been given the ability to fly and lock onto targets via radar. ;)

  19. Ellison rubbed his chin in thought as he saw the dazed pilots being carried out of the aircrafts and to a makeshift tent nearby. "Hm...tomorrow, then. Seems that they need to rest from what they've been through, heh." He said.

"I forgot to ask, but where are we staying?" asked Fan.
